Great week away

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love Jekyll and always looking for a nice place to stay. We stayed on Tyler Lane once before and we couldn’t get that property and the web search revealed this one. The house is amazing. We will definitely stay again. But hope the rental out back with the pool enforces the rules better. Those folks always got in the pool around midnight and cranked the music up and carried on most nights for at least 2 hours. But other than that the place and location were superb.

Jim even called me to asked how the house was and if everything was clean and in order. He also asked that if there is something that should be added or addressed to let him know. Our only issue was the AC. It shut down a couple times. Although we received quick responses, it required a 3rd visit when a major service was needed to fix the problem.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was ready upon our arrival. We were running late getting to the island but Jekyll Realty worked with us so there were no issues getting our rental. We had one part way through the week that they had resolved. During our stay our rental and one next door had the electricity go out due to a tree branch leaning on a transformer. Georgia Power responded quickly and got the power turned back on. We’re very satisfied with our rental experience.

Wonderful retreat

It had everything you could ask for from a well stocked kitchen to a outdoor shower to rinse off sand on your return from the beach (which was a convenient 5 min walk from the house.)

Sherry’s Cove

Our family of 6 enjoyed staying at Sherry’s Cove. The kitchen had everything we needed. The closest beach access on Dexter Ln was a bit of a problem because of the number of steps (20+)to get up to the crossover and the number of steps down to the beach (30+). Another access is being built on Porter Ln. This access was ok for walking on the beach, but for a day on the beach with all of our beach stuff, it was easier for us to drive the short distance to the public access where there is a ramp and restrooms. The homeowner called while we were there. We made a reservation to stay at Sherry’s Cove next summer. Our family highly recommends this house; it exceeded our expectations. Great place
