Wildwood Cottage was completely remodeled and redecorated in February 2024.

Don't let the steps keep you away from this one room studio cabin is located in a small log cabin community close to the main Hwy in Townsend, TN called Timberwinds Resort. It features a KING size comfortable bed, a wood burning fireplace, living area with TV/DVD/Satellite, whirlpool bathtub and fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom is a separate private space with a stand up shower.

Wildwood Cottage is a wonderful place to spend your next romantic getaway to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Cades Cove. Just 3 miles to the entrance to the park, it only takes a few minutes to arrive.
 
For your enjoyment, the resort also offers seasonal access to the community pool which is walking distance from the cabin. It also has a private hot tub for your use on the back deck of the cabin.

For your safety & security, there is a camera on the exterior of this cabin pointing down the exterior steps that you must access to get in to this cabin. There are no other cameras and nothing that would impede on your privacy.

*Wildwood Cottage is at the top of a somewhat steep road. It may require a 4 wheel drive vehicle in bad weather.

FOR OUR PET FRIENDLY VISITORS:

PETS MUST BE APPROVED BY MANAGEMENT PRIOR TO RESERVATION. We reserve the right to refuse any pet at any time. We would like for you and your family (including the four legged members) to have the best vacation ever and appreciate your willingness to abide by these guidelines.

*We only accept dogs, no cats allowed. We only accept 2 pets per reservation.
*We charge a $70.00 per stay per pet fee which is not refundable.
*Your dog must be on a flea maintenance program. (Like Frontline, Advantage, etc.)
*Your dog must be crated while left in the cabin alone.
*Your dog must not get on our furniture. If we find pet hair on our furniture upon your departure, you will be charged $10.00 per each quilt/comforter/sofa that must be cleaned to remove dog hair.
*If your dog damages our vacation home in any way, ie, urine on the carpet/floor, chewed furniture/walls/doors or molding, you will be held responsible for the damage repair costs.
*Your dog must be leashed when on the outside of the cabin. This is for the safety of your dog as there may be other animals in the area that could harm your beloved pet.

*3pm - CONTACTLESS CHECK IN - there is NO check-in office, you go straight to the cabin.

Common Concerns:
*Road Conditions: Some of our cabins are on steep, narrow, curvy, mountain roads. If you are concerned about road conditions to get to a cabin, please feel free to ask us! None of our cabins require a 4 wheel drive under normal weather conditions but some do in inclement weather.
*TV & WiFi: We do have TV's and WiFi in most all of our cabins. There are times when heavy cloud cover, weather systems, mountains, or trees will cause problems with the signals. We always want our guests to have the comforts they want on vacation, but there are times we cannot control this problem.
*Pests & Wildlife: Here in the Smoky Mountains, we have lots of native bugs and wildlife. All of our cabins are treated for pests, but there are times you will find bugs or even have trouble with bugs. Please let us know if they are causing trouble, we will handle it as quickly and efficiently as possible. Please never feed, taunt or approach any wildlife.

FEES: The management company of this cabin charges a $20 per stay Damage Waiver Fee to every customer. It is automatically included in your rate. This covers our guests for up to $1000 of accidental damage should damage occur during their stay. If damage occurs to the cabin, furnishings, etc, please report it to management as soon as possible so that the damage can be repaired. You may opt out of paying the $20 damage waiver fee by putting down a $500 REFUNDABLE damage deposit.

Cancellation Policy:
*$50 cancellation fee
*Before 30 days - you will get all of your money back (-$50)
*Within 30 days - whatever dates we can rebook, this is the amount that we will refund back (-$50). Example: if you had 5 nights & we rebooked 4 nights = you will be refunded 4 night+tax+cleaning fee
