The beauty of Castle Rock Lake awaits with this lovely and spacious three-level home. Featuring a huge backyard, private dock, firepit, and water access, this home has no shortage of outdoor activities. The open layout makes this home perfect for gathering as a group to make cherished memories and the vaulted ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows will help you admire the marvelous forest views and nature surrounding you. Be sure to take advantage of the shared docks available for boating, swimming, and fishing. Unwind in the living area and watch your favorite shows on the flatscreen TV, challenge your friends to one of the many board games available, or sit down and read a good book. The expansive deck is another great place to gather since it features an outdoor dining area and a gas grill. Spend a relaxing afternoon in one of the hammocks either taking a nap or admiring the views. The first floor of this secluded getaway is what we'd call a 'fun cave' - there, you'll find a pool table, foosball table, a wet bar, and another living area.

The hidden gem of Friendship, Wisconsin offers year-round fun in all seasons. Rent a snowmobile, snowshoes, skis, or ice fishing equipment - there’s no wrong way to enjoy the snow. If you’re visiting in the summer, explore the area’s many hiking trails, or take a stroll down Main Street for shopping and dining. Fall visitors should prepare to be awed by the brilliant foliage in Friendship and the surrounding area. You will be just a short distance away from Wisconsin Dells Waterparks as well as amusement parks and events.

Four kayaks are available for guest use under the canopy outside. Also included are four kayak carts so guests can pull them down to the water easier. Six life vests are inside the coat closet by the front door (four one-size-fits-most unisex, one ladies, and one young child vest).

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 6 vehicles.

Dock details: Two shared piers. One pier has about six to eight slips where guests can park a boat during the entire duration of their stay. The slips are not numbered so they can pick whichever is available. The other pier goes straight out (as opposed to the other one that has multiple "fingers" branching off from the main pier) and it's only a daily use pier. No overnight boat parking on that pier. The daily use dock is mainly for fishing off of and swimming. They can park a boat there too during the day.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Awesome cabin

Great Holiday Weekend Stay

The home provided plenty of space for our party of 15 in the cool December winter. Had plenty to do within the home from ages 2 to 62! Highly recommended. Only comment is bring socks. Basement floor is chilling.

A weekend with the guys

We had seven middle aged guys under the roof for a weekend. It was a great space. The game room in the basement was really fun and we enjoyed the fire pit as well. It is also really close to several cool WI state parks, so there’s good hiking to be had. The place was clean and the whole check-in and check-out process was easy. We’d definitely return.

Not what we expected

First we got there and noticed that it was not what we thought it was. Although the house was pretty, it wasn’t right on the water like it looked like. You had to hike a trail which we found out had a ton of ticks to get to the water. The water was also super shallow and had tons of weeds. Secondly; when we arrived we noticed it wasn’t exactly the same as the pictures inside. They had different furniture and even though they did have a sectional and a chair, the sectional they provided wasn’t put together so every time you sat down it slid apart on the wood floor. The couch was also filthy under it. There was old food and ping pong balls which isn’t good when you have an 8 month old crawling around. Third; we had such an issues with the WiFi. It wouldn’t work for any of our phones. We weren’t able to play the games downstairs without the WiFi, we couldn’t watch anything on the TV and 2 of the men who came with us weren’t able to do work without it. We contacted them several times and were told 3 times somebody would come out and fix it and nobody came. They also responded days after we had messaged and called them. The house was pretty but that’s about it.

Did not meet expectations — SO MANY BUGS!

My family of 15 stayed here during the middle of May. We were hoping for a fun lakehouse experience with some lake time, hiking, bonfires and fishing. Unfortunately the bugs and especially the ticks in this area were HORRIBLE. We hardly spent any time outside because of this which was a shame because the weather was perfect. We purchased fummers, bug repellant candles, heavy deet repellant, everything, but the mosquitoes would eat us alive. Several family members had ticks embedded in them or crawling on them by just going out on the deck. Ticks were crawling on the couch and on the floor too. Definitely do not recommend coming here during the summer if you want to enjoy the outdoor space at all. The indoor space met our expectations. However the floors were filthy and our socks were black within an hour of checking in. My baby’s hands and feet were dirty from crawling. I reached out to the owners and they offered a cleaning crew to come out but they didn’t. You can tell this house is used just for rentals. No personal touches, not even a guest book. Sleeping spaces on three separate levels were great but also no one slept comfortably because the upstairs was super hot and the downstairs was freezing. They did provide floor fans for upstairs bedroom and some type of heater fireplace for the downstairs but was still not comfortable. Overall the space fit our large group and the downstairs area kept us entertained. We just went at a bad time of the year unfortunately.

Nice accommodations

Plenty of space for 8 people. Fun basement with pool table and other games. Had some issues with the heating, empty propane tanks and some dirty dishes. Slow responses from the property manager but we made the best of it.

Family Christmas Week

Our group of 15 stayed in the Adventure Bay Cabin the week between Christmas and New Years. We were very impressed with the attention to details and the cleanliness of it. There was plenty of room for everyone. And the Game room was an extra special place for us too. All of us 8 adults & my 8 grandkids loved it. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals together. The only thing that we wish we would have known was how to get the furnace to run, we froze the first 2 nights because it shut off. Once we figured it out it worked perfectly. We also wish the living room fireplace was an option or gas. We would consider staying again. Thanks, Colleen From Wisconsin

Fun home

Loved spending our family Christmas here. Only downfall is they definitely need to put a heater in the basement that you can turn on and off. The basement is way too cold to enjoy.

Needs Attention

Quiet and Relaxing

The house was spacious and beautiful, the surroundings were wonderful, it was quiet and relaxing. Get to unwind and enjoy nature, family loved the house and the game room, and the trail paths and fire pit outside. Recommend it.

It was almost perfect!

Loved the beautiful house with lots of space, loved the fire ring in the back yard, loved the setting! Very private. We showed up to check in at 4pm but cleaning crew was not finished until about 6:30pm. That was really the only snag we had and they discounted our bill due to that, so that was appreciated! We had planned to kayak but it's quite a ways to pull them down to the water. Also we pictured the water to be more open and clean but it was more swamp-like. Beautiful pine trees galore and nice trails through them.

Great cabin for a big group!

Loved the space and all the amenities! The fireplace had lots of seating, as well as all the deck areas. We were able to enjoy a lot of time outside because of this. The rooms were spacious and we liked there was a bathroom on each floor. Overall a great place!

Wonderful Family Friendly Cabin Retreat

What a spacious and welcoming place for our family to gather. We celebrated my fathers 95th birthday with 3 generations! The accommodations were very comfortable and the deck and firepit were everyone's favorite places to hangout. The short walk to the lake to hike and kayak made family bonding time quite special. And the game room had more action happening than the kitchen! Loved it! We highly recommend this place.

Great property with lots of options

We had a family get together with adult children. Property had plenty of things to do both inside and out. We had colder weather than expected for the end of March but had a great time in the game room and with board games at the nice large dining table. Nice spacious rooms with plenty of seating. Everyone wants to come back when we can take advantage of the water recreation options too. Only issue we had was having to ask to get check in information the day we were scheduled to be there. Have never had this issue and it made me a little nervous not having the information a little more in advance.

Great Long Weekend

The cabin was as excellent as the photos suggested it would be! We had a long weekend with friends, and the cabin had everything we needed to cook and eat meals and entertain ourselves. We especially loved the billiards, foosball, and Pacman in the basement! We mostly stayed inside, but the cabin was a short drive from Roche-A-Cri state park which was an excellent spot for a hike. Our only suggestion for improvement would be to have a few extra large pots for cooking - we had to use several small pots to make enough rice to go with our entrees.

Christmas at the Cabin

We had a great time at Adventure Bay, all 12 of us. The house was better than we’d hoped, the towels were nice and fluffy (and plenty of them too!) Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with appliances and utensils. Loved the game room and fire pit outside. Also a lovely surprise was there was a lighted fake Christmas tree set up! Only negative were the shower curtains, lots of mildew. But we just popped them in the washer with some bleach and that worked well enough. Overall a great way to spend Christmas with family we don’t see often.

Family Christmas time

We had a wonderful time, the house was large enough for all of us. There was plenty of room to stretch out. The pool table and Ms. Pac man was a total hit. It had just snowed out and the trees were gorgeous. There was a huge Christmas tree and we celebrated our family Christmas.

Quiet Escape

We found our stay here to be very enjoyable and relaxing! All descriptions of the sleeping arrangements and amenities were accurate. We were pleasantly surprised to find the kitchen more than well equipped and wouldn’t have needed to bring things like coffee filters, sharp knives, and crock pot. A few points of feedback: - We were disappointed we couldn’t adjust the temperature in the house (it hovered right around 70-72 the whole time) as it was nice for sleeping but with the airy open main floor space we were chilly when relaxing at night. Some extra throw blankets in the living room would have also alleviated this concern. - The house was described as waterfront and it does appear that way on a map but there is in fact no view of the lake and it’s a bit of a hike to access the water, which is a murky tributary to the lake, not the actual lake. It wasn’t a deal breaker but if we had come in summertime we would have expected easier lake access. - Lastly, we recommend a some additional tissue boxes in restrooms. Thanks!
