This 2BR, 1 Bath second floor apartment includes Roku TVs and modern sofa bed. Easy access to the beach and a local favorite pier restaurant Ocean Grill. Kitchen includes granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. Sit on the balcony and sleep well on comfortable memory foam mattresses. Included washer/dryer.
NOTE: This is an upstairs unit of a duplex house. Another vacation rental is downstairs with 2 outdoor showers and grill. Other travelers may be present during your stay. Please be considerate of downstairs guests. Thank you!*

Great property, needs better communication for check-in
I loved staying at this property in Carolina Beach. The location is perfect and the amenities are congruent with the price. The communication with the owner went well. The only problem was not getting information through the VRBO website about check in. Once I contacted the owner, I got the details I needed.

Great location and nice accommodations
Location was perfect for walking to the beach. The outdoor showers and deck at the house with beach chairs to borrow made it the perfect beach house. The size and layout was perfect for a family with 2 teenagers. Only complaint was the cleanliness. You could tell it was given a quick once over in-between guests but thats it.

Adorable Apartment,
The property was absolutely adorable and everything listed online. However, the guests downstairs continued to misgender my wife and myself (we’re women with shorter haircuts, but obviously women). It felt very targeted and as a result of those interactions we limited our time enjoying the outdoor amenities that we specifically booked the unit for. Of course the owner could not have known who would stay in their properties, but perhaps include some inclusive language to deter bigots (or exclusive language of you do not wish to have same sex couples stay at your property)

Beach house review
Need curtains to block out the light in the bedrooms! Need new a new mattress for all the beds!! There were blood stains on the mattress cover/pad that we had no idea was there until we pulled the sheets off the bed as requested. That is disgusting!! Normally I bring my own towels, washcloths and sheets when we travel I sure wish I had this time although it would not have corrected the mattress cover problem. Th maid service should have seen that!!! I am not sure why we had to strip the beds and remove the trash when we had to pay a cleaning fee! that should be included. Need a REAL coffee maker!!!! Not just a one cup machine. Not the best or worst place we have stayed & wouldnt stay there again.

Nice and relaxing stay
The inside was perfect for our family stay. We have a 1 year old and the deck wasn’t very kid friendly, some wood was coming up and wasn’t very clean but overall the inside was very clean and spacious. We will definitely be back to stay here! Steps away from the beach, nice neighborhood and quiet!

Great experience staying here! The location is perfect with beach access within a few minutes of walking. The beds were very comfy and the apartment quiet so sleep was not a problem!

Perfect for a family
Everything about this stay was so smooth. The property manager Tom was very responsive to messages when I had a question. We loved the keyless code lock. No extra keys to worry about using or loosing. Not only were towels and linens provided but more than ample nice cookware, dishes plus we had dish soap, dish towels and a couple starter rolls of paper towels and toilet paper. We loved being able to cook our own meals including a fresh fish fry Thursday from our pier catches. Having a washer & dryer in house is always a must, the second bedroom had a stacked unit in an alcove. Beds were comfortable. The entire unit was clean and maintained nicely. High quality kitchen with soft close cabinets and granite countertops. The house was close to 2 public beach accesses. We walked and pulled our wagon with the beach fun from the house to the beach in just a few minutes. We brought our own wagon and boogie boards but the unit also had a wagon and various other beach toys available. The outside showers were a perfect way to keep the 99% of the sand outside! Those are now the top of my need list when booking. We were able to easily charge the golf cart we rented as well. The only drawback is the living room furniture. The couch and chairs are not very comfortable but we spent 75% of our time out of the house anyway. I would highly recommend this house to anyone.

Wonderful
This was an amazing stay! The beach was so close to the beach access we were able to walk easily. The front porch had nice furniture for enjoying the morning and evening air. The inside was great for a small family to stay! There was a washer/dryer in the unit, beach chairs, wagon, grill and It was also close to shopping and local restaurants. 10/10 would stay again!!!!

My wife was out of town, and the kids and I settled on a quick beach trip. This was the perfect place for us to stay. Very close to the beach. A super quick jaunt to the boardwalk, and my personal favorite…ice cream, burgers, and hot dogs are a 45-second walk from the front door. The place was very clean, and very high quality. We enjoyed it.

The upstairs apartment is beautiful and clean. The beach is an easy walk to the access. The host was great to work with. We stopped over for a couple of nights, coming from Ft. Jackson South Carolina on our way to Ft. Lee Va to spend some time with our grandson before he had to report to Ft. Lee. Perfect place for us.

Fun Beach Vacation
We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was conveniently located close to the beach, and we were lucky enough to have great weather. Traveling before school was out made the beach less crowded. We spent a day at Fort Fisher Beach and enjoyed some time on the boardwalk. Don't miss sunrise over the ocean! The property was clean and as expected except for a piece of tape on the rug in the master bedroom. There was a good amount of seating, and the porch was great. On the last night we were there, the guests below us decided to play some loud music with some language I didn't appreciate, but it didn't last too long. We didn't even report it since it wasn't particularly late. The owner provided backpack style beach chairs which were great, and the outside showers were a bonus. The area was cute and we felt safe. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

I loved staying here!
Overall, I enjoyed staying at this location. The photos are true blue and it’s a great vacay escape. It also has a great proximity to the beach and funnel cake! 😊 My only gripe was the pet hair left by the prior tenant and I don’t think the house was cleaned prior to our stay. Nevertheless, we are the type to double clean anyway. So we didn’t let it ruffle our feathers and decided not to complain. Please note: the owner did disclose that there was a long time renter prior to me entering the property. But, I wanted to give an honest and thorough review. And like I said we really enjoyed the stay.

We enjoyed our stay at the property for a girls get away. The location was ideal for beach access and was on a quiet street. The property was as listed but I would recommend to all future guests to be prepared to bring the following toiletry items - shampoo, conditioner and soap as there is none provided in the property. Otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone to stay in the future!

Brief escape to the beach
The place was conveniently close by to the beach, restaurants and stores. The bedding was comfortable and the furniture was cozy. We enjoyed sitting on the deck evenings. Definitely want to come back next year.
