Nicely updated, but lacking main staples.
Cabin was updated, but missing very key items such as heating on 2nd FL and enough blankets, towels for all guests.

Great cabin, scary and icy drive in and out
Very clean and well stocked cabin. Getting out after it snowed was harrowing. 5 people before us spin out and several had to get towed due to crashing. If in the summer, great stay. Need snow tires or chains. We have an AWD that I take up to the snow regularly… still was scary.

Excellent space for a Tahoe weekend!
This house had everything we needed for a family meetup by the lake. There was tons of space and all the amenities were exactly what we needed. The location is superb and is close to beach access at the lake. The only thing we noticed was the faucet in the kitchen sink is very loose. The lock box code for the physical keys was also not included with the check in instructions, but those were the only things we noted about the stay that could be improved.

Excellent property!
The house is lovely and the location was perfect for us. We had 10 people stay and that worked well, we did bring an extra air mattress as we only had 2 couples The host didn’t respond to my messages, which were about early and late check in.

Need a deep cleaning, new photos and better management
Pros: Good location, good shower pressure and pleasant living room. Cons: There were 5 mugs and 4 glasses. They knew we were going to be nine people. The upstairs shower over tub did not drain properly. I removed a hand full of hair. Both upstairs beds are uncomfortable, one is literally broken in the middle. Pictures showed a much bigger refrigerator. We could not fit all our food in the one rhere. Pool poles lack the proper felt tips. No chalk available. Bear box was full, no place to put our garbage. Only one set of keys. We were three families. Game room picture shows a air hokey table which does not exist. Children were disappointed. Dishwasher was full of black mold; it appears that it was never cleaned. Fire extinguisher was empty, so useless in case of a fire. There was not a broom or dustpan available for use. A house that is rented for more than three days should have these items available for the guests. The vacuum cleaner that was there was broken. After speaking with eight different people from Vacasa, they dropped paper cups one day and a broom and a vacuum on the next. Bone of the other issues were addressed.

Vacationer beware!
We booked this property several months ago. We arrived right before a big storm and experienced a power outage the next day. We quickly realized that the house was not equipped with flashlights nor candles. We contacted Vacasa support who offered us no help at all. Just said there should be flashlight under the sink. Nope. 12+ hours later, the power was finally restored but the internet never came back on. . Upon arrival we found that there was no heat upstairs and the space heaters that were in the rooms were broken. The email indicated there were keys for the front door, the air lock door, utility closet and downstairs game room. No keys as indicated in the email related to check-in. The fireplace had not been cleaned so we had to empty it before it was usable. The house had a dishwasher but no dishwashing machine soap (even though they ask you to start it at your departure?). Only one small towel in the kitchen (for a four day stay), the pool table isn’t in the best condition and the cues had no tips, so unusable. We attempted to dig our way out early to just head home but discovered that most of the shovels were broken. The plus side, the home has been updated so the interior on the main and second floor were good. Not the best place for a winter stay. I don't know if the owners even realize that it is not equipped for their guests. We've rented other cabins in the area and each were well equipped for winter needs. We’ve used VRBO/Vacasa many times, but this was a very disappointing stay and would not stay here again.

Nice vacation spot
Great location near the lake but no places to eat within walking distance. You would have to drive for any lake or food options. Nicely remodeled cabin in a quiet neighborhood. Everything was nice and clean. They advertised a game room, which was one of the reasons we booked this place for our group of 9, but the pool table was unusable and needs to be replaced.

Overall very good experience
In our party we had 5 adults and two children under the age of 12. We loved the location, the layout, and the amount of room- plenty of bedrooms and beds- although some of the mattresses need to be replaced. The big dinning table allowed for family meals and game time. We loved building a fire in the fireplace at night when it was snowing. The kids loved the game room downstairs- although the stairs going down were a bit sketchy. Excellent water pressure in the showers. Oven and dishwasher need to ne updated- the oven door is missing the front piece and one of the burners is not working. The dishwater is missing a bottom plate so you could see all the buildup. It would be useful if there were more cups, glasses, and dish towels vailable. We are so thankful it was a dog friendly home- our boy loved his time.

Solid Option!
The house worked very well for our annual snowboarding trip. I would not say it fits 11 comfortably because the downstairs futon did not look like a great option for anyone, let alone 2 people, but we only had 7 guys, all of whom needed their own bed. If you can sleep two on the King, Queen, and Double, then I would say it fits 9 comfortably. THe location was amazing, within 25 minutes of the North Lake ski resorts, close to restaurants, grocery store, gas station and that Beautiful Lake! Be warned, with any snow at all, the initial drive is VERY steep and would be tricky even with 4WD (the street sign actually says chains recommended). The deck and mud room were awesome, as was the kitchen and living area. The game room with pool table downstairs was super cool. Driveway had room for 3 or maybe 4 cars. Bathrooms were a good size and had hot water for several morning showers with no issue. House had all the towels, and linens and kitchen supplies you would need (we cooked almost every day). Would absolutely stay here again and would recommend this place for any tahoe excursion without any hesitation!

Great place that needs some TLC
I loved the place. It was big enough for my family. It had a nice open kitchen, dining area and living room. Plenty of bedrooms and we loved having the pool table in the basement. So why only 3 stars? There were things that need work - The stove was missing part of the door - it would close properly and was functional, but the outward cosmetic part was missing. It looked like it came from a salvage yard. - The pool table was fine, but all the pool cues had broken or missing tips except one, and that one wasn't the greatest. There was also no chalk. - The BBQ didn't work. First it was hard to light. It was winter and with some effort I was able to get it lit. After it was lit, I closed to the lid to get it to heat up so I could put some nice steaks on the grill, but as it heated up flames engulfed the bbq. This was not safe so I turned it off and we went out for pizza. - there were other smaller issues too (ex. the fuse went out when using the toaster, coffee maker and microwave at breakfast) We went to Tahoe for a family ski / snowboard trip. The place was great, if there weren't these issues I would have given it 5 Stars. Chris.

Luxury with a value
This house was amazing me and my family loved it so much that we didn't even have time to go to the lake because we enjoyed the house so much and spent the whole week in there. The price for this house was way lower than other houses that didn't even look half as good. I would definitely recommend this house and if I go back up there I would definitely be looking forward to getting this house again.

Home more suited for 20y old ski bums than a family vacation. Hard to experience "relaxation on muletail" when windows don't lock and house is less than clean and in disrepair

Budget Friendly
Attentive management in budget friendly unit. A little tired, worn and cluttered. Desperately needs new flooring and a kitchen update. Beds were comfortable and location was convenient and quiet. Basement stairwell is awkward- easier to access from exterior door. Nice roominess for the family though.

Great location and neighborhood
Great location between Tahoe City and Kings Beach. It's a peaceful and quiet neighborhood. Great for walks or quick drive to Kings Beach. The home is very spacious and a great layout to enjoy all sides of the property. It has a nice size family room and balcony. In addition, the rooms and bathrooms are very spacious as well! The game room furniture was rather worn out and/or broken (sofa and high-top chairs). The family room sofas were also very worn out. The BBQ is not the same as shown in the photos and covered in grease. And the carpets needed to be cleaned. With attention to a few minor items that could be cleaned or tidy, it is a great house. We addressed these issues with Vacasa and received a prompt response. Great customer service and very attentive.

Quiet getaway
The rental and check in process could not have been any easier. Property was as advertised. The house was clean and stocked with all the necessities. Expansive deck to sun yourself. Comfortable beds and although the access to the game room was tight, it was the most fun room in the house Great neighborhood. Would definitely recommend.
