Loved the condo for my husband and 1 year old! Was very clean when we arrived and was comfortable to stay in for our trip. Only complaints were there was only 1 trash bag and we had noisy neighbors above us. Other than that, our stay was great!

Very nice and clean condo. Comfortable for small family. Has everything you need for a long or short stay. Great view and we loved the amenities that Phoenix V offers. Great location close to grocery stores and restaurants.

It was a nice vacation but the people above us were a little disturbing at night. The tub drain needs to be fixed and the toilet squealed when you flushed but other than that we enjoyed it.

Perfect getaway!
This property was a perfect getaway for me and my husband. Its location is close to nearby attractions and getting to the beach is easy. The foyer is under construction, so it looks like a construction zone, but don’t fret - you only deal with it if you’re leaving the property. The beach is nice and wide and not greatly impacted by the tide. We had a great stay! (Oh - don’t pack a hairdryer - there is one in the unit. You can bring that extra pair of shoes in its place!)

Room was clean and as expected. Television did not work and hoped to watch the LSU game. Maintenance kept postponing the service visit. Stayed 4 nights, was not looked at until the last night there. All in all was a good time.

Needs A Little Improvement
Loved the view and location of the condo. The bed was very comfortable. The sofa, love seat and chair needs the upholstery cleaned thoroughly. It would be nice if the condo had a Keurig coffee maker. It had the old time Mr Coffee type coffee maker. The elevators are slow in the building. But for the fair price we paid we are overall very satisfied and would recommend it.

This condo was clean and comfortable with a great view of the ocean and beachfront. The location was great. We loved that the indoor pool area had four separate hot tubs. The only two complaints we had were (1) The washer and dryer are old and super noisy; and (2) There was construction going on in the condo above us for the last two days we were there that was very loud and annoying.

We loved the size and location of this property. The view from the balcony was beautiful. You could see the beach and gulf with no interference. In the evening we left the door open so we could hear the Ocean At night there was star gazing opportunities. The amenities met our needs. The condo is older. But, for the location and price it didn't matter. However I was disappointed with the cleanliness. Dust in the heating vent and on ceiling fans was a big disappointment. We would stay again.

Wonderful condo. Some of our friends were staying in the same building so that was fun. The beach was more crowded than we expected. We usually go alittle later in the month. Overall fabulous trip! Love Alabama!

Phoenix five is an older building, the outside pool is really nice and it’s very easy beach access, the splash pad is nice, only negatives would be just older building and older fixtures In the lobby and elevators and the indoor pool and hot tub area probably needs to be updated. Beach was very crowded which is expected in a high-rise condominium area. Our room had a great view from the balcony though. Room was very clean and comfortable.

Condo was very clean. Comfortable place for 2 people. Check in was very easy.
The ice machine in the fridge did not work, so we had to buy all our ice. The only other downfall was the wait we had for an elevator. Besides that we were pleased with our stay.

The Good and the Bad

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I may have set my expectations too high based on all of the 5-star reviews. I have only done a vacation rental like this one time before and it was a really bad experience, so this one was definitely better but still not great. The Good - Great location - fantastic view -condo fully equipped - easy parking, easy beach accessThe Bad - As soon as you walk in the lobby, there is an overwhelming smell of chlorine (I assume coming from the indoor pool that is downstairs), cracked tiles everywhere. First impression was just ok, but and was a little scared of what would be inside (based on how the front door of the condo looked). Everything was basically as pictured and clean. The bed was very uncomfortable (hump in the middle), bathroom counter was small child height, couches uncomfortable. Not even 1 extra roll of TP in the bathroom, so had to make another store run to get more. Overall we enjoyed our time in Orange Beach since the reason for this trip was relaxation which we accomplished, but would not choose this condo complex again. There were a lot of Phoenix properties and maybe another one would have been better for us.
