About the host
Hosted by Georgina

I am very excited to be part of this growing community, and to be able to help people feel right at home in one of the most beautiful areas of El Salvador: THE CHALATENANGO HIGHLANDS. I am an artisanal/graphic designer from El Salvador, currently working in the hotel industry. I had the opportunity of graduating as a Mayan Priestess in the region of Quetzaltenango with a "Kakchiquel Elder". My love for animals, nature and Mother Earth have made me look for a place to settle such as Chalatenango, a true paradise with a deep cultural heritage and diversity. Thank you in advance for considering my listing, it will be my honor to share this property with you!
Why they chose this property
The Villa itself is an amazing experience, built with Colonial details, organic architecture and Naive Art paintings. It is one of the best properties in the area, perfect for a romantic getaway or a family gathering. Just 1 and a half hour away from the city, and 45 minutes from El Salvador's highest point! So many fun, interesting activities to do in the area (waterfalls, mountain climbing, sightseeing, local shopping, etc.).
What makes this property unique
This house was built by the renown Mexican Architect AZCARRAGA, with every intricate detail though out to the fullest (from the natural materials, to the open concept floor-plan, to de decor and art pieces found throughout the house). The villa is nestled in a private land, which preserves all its natural beauty.
