Nestled directly behind the famous Chateau Marmont, and walking distance from Sunset Blvd, this beautiful home with large grounds is the perfect retreat. Thoughtful design throughout the home leads to a lush private garden with space to lounge by the pool, host guests, and simply relax. This historically significant home was built by the same builder as the Chateau Marmont, and has a rich history that has been impeccably maintained throughout. The Space:
The Marmont Estate, located directly behind Chateau Marmont, is a 3 bed, 3 bath home. On entering the gate, you are lead to the front door. Once inside, there is a well appointed living room that leads to the backyard and pool. If you head the opposite direction on entering, it leads you to the kitchen and dining area, which also has access to the pool and yard. There is one small office/bedroom downstairs. Up the stairs you will find the other bedrooms, all well appointed and tastefully designed.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the entire home as well as the driveway and garage to park. There will be no one else on the property, other than the weekly pool man and gardener, unless otherwise discussed with you in advance.

All 30+ day stays require mid stay cleaning by our professional housekeeping team. This is a full clean of the house and change of linens. We pay our cleaners a fair, livable wage and we always strive to hire the best, most reliable and honest cleaners in the business. This team in the backbone of our company, and they work tirelessly to ensure every stay is a clean one!

The Neighborhood:
The Hollywood Hills West area of Los Angeles is minutes from the Sunset Strip, yet you feel secluded and surrounded by nature and great, well designed and maintained architectural homes.

We recommend you check out all of the great restaurant options located just blocks from the house on Sunset Blvd, as well as the famous Chateau Marmont next door.

Getting Around:
Most people choose to have a car when visiting Southern California. There are an abundant amount of unique and significant attractions within two hours of this home. If you’re an explorer, we recommend a car.

If you’re the type that wants to arrive and relax at the house on your vacation, Uber and Lyft are readily available as well.

Other Things to Note:
Open Air Homes is setting a new standard for the short term rental industry. During your stay, we rely on a centralized texting service so that you can reach us anytime simply with a text. Our property management team cares for each home, and our goal is to have each home properly maintained before you step foot in the home. We make your check in and check out process a breeze, and simply ask you to turn off the lights/AC and lock up on departure. Our team is well versed in the local community, and we offer each guest a personalized set of recommendations before your stay, with the goal of making your stay a truly unforgettable experience.

- By booking with us, you agree to sign our Rental Agreement.

- You understand that your check-in instructions will be sent after successfully signing our Rental Agreement.

- Pets and animals are not permitted at the property at any time whatsoever unless otherwise agreed upon in writing prior to booking. Failure to comply with this will result in additional charge up to $1000 and/or eviction without limiting any other legal or equitable remedies available to Owner and/or Company.
- All stays over 30 days require mid-stay cleaning. Please ask your reservation associate for more details.

This is a conscious decision in order to be a positive change for the short term rental industry, We encourage guests to send us a respectful note and provide us a little bit of background about your group before booking, and then we will take this to the owner for approval. Please note that in the State of CA, guests staying over 30 nights are legally required to sign a legal CAR form with the DRE. Our Broker of Record will send you this CAR form for signature once payment is made. Your reservation will be considered ready to go once the form is signed!

At Open Air Homes, we strive to give you such a great experience, that you will consider us for Property Management if and when you buy. Our goal is to provide unforgettable, relaxing vacations to our guests, and we aim to take care of all of the needs of this property before you step foot in the home.

There is a 10-day grace period to return any items taken from the home at check-out (keys, garage remotes, etc). Replacement costs will be charged to guests if items are not received within 10 days of check-out.

PET FEES: For stays under 30 days, there is a non-refundable fee of $150 per pet. For 30+ stays, there is a non-refundable fee of $300 per pet. Damages and/or failure to pick up after your pet may result in additional charges at check out.

The Open Air Homes team is dedicated to making sure you have a great experience staying with us! We use a centralized texting service and have an international team so that we can provide you with 24/7 communication. You can rest assured that someone from the Open Air team will be there should you need us at any hour of the night.

*We send a breakdown of costs to guests for approval of additional fees before confirming the reservation.

*For cancellations, we charge a 4.5% fee if you decide to cancel your stay even if the policy states a full refund.
