Typical Ludlow house, situated within old town walls and close to all amenities. Sleeps 6+ - 2 kingsize doubles, 1 twin. We also have 2 'put-you-up' beds, a travel cot, and small sofa bed for maximum 2 extras/children. There is a family bathroom on the first floor, together with one double bedroom and large sitting room, the other two bedrooms are on the second floor with a shower room and cloakroom. On the ground floor there is a large dining/living room and small kitchen. The laundry room is in an adjacent building and the garden is separate, across an adjoining courtyard. The house is old and furnished with antiques. Everything Ludlow has to offer is close by. The station is about 10 minutes walk. We include one residents parking ticket in the rent otherwise there are plenty of public car parks within easy walking distance.

Great place - much larger than expected
Beautiful period accommodation with 2 sitting rooms and 3 bedrooms super close to the centre of Ludlow.
Comfortable. warm. convenient, spacious. The kitchen is small, but practicable and the re are stairs to navigate, but it's a homely place and we enjoyed our stay.
Loved this quirky little house had plenty of crockery etc showers were good kitchen was small but fully functional. Plenty of room around the dining table.
Location was perfect for exploring Ludlow and local area. Parking was adequate for us with 2 cars. If we return to the area would stay here again
Spacious, comfortable and characterful property in a great location near the centre of Ludlow. Plenty of room for four adults and two children. We enjoyed our stay very much.
We booked this house for a friend meet up in Ludlow and it was just a perfect base for our weekend. Close enough to the market square and castle. We would definitely use it again for a trip to this lovely town. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The house is indeed quirky, but we love old and quirky so it was the perfect space to experience medieval Ludlow.
But if you have any mobility issues this is not the property for you. The stairs are very tricky to navigate and the uphill walk to town is strenuous at best.
We recently spent 2 weeks in the "quirky house in Ludlow". We had some concerns at first but there were few choices in Ludlow. Those concerns disappeared when we stepped in the door. It is a beautiful old house with really spacious rooms that feels like someones home. It is old fashioned for sure but really comfortable. A small but well equipped kitchen allowed us to prepare meals for several people and room to all sit down to dinner. It has a small garden up a bath in the back that is a very peaceful spot to sit. Most of all, it is very quiet, even in the day when there is traffic on the road. I urge you to stay here. Also Lynne the caretaker could not have been more helpful and friendly. Thank you Judy.
A great stay in a wonderful period property. The house was comfortable, charming, and full of character. It even has a lovely small garden at the back. It is located very centrally in Ludlow and is an ideal base for exploring the area. Really loved it.
The house is quirky with lots of antique/vintage furniture. Comfortable seating and beds. Tiny kitchen but as we only stayed 2 nights it was big enough to make drinks and prep the dog food. The only downside was having to go out the main door, along a passage to reach the garden outside but it was secure so the dogs could explore off the lead. Location in town brilliant and parking for 1 car on main road sorted by the owner. If you like old buildings with a quirky style this is the place to stay.
The property as described by the owner is quirky no doubt and for its age, is in rather good shape.
The kitchen is well equipped but could have been a bit larger.
The rooms are well proportioned with very comfortable beds and sufficient number of cloakrooms and bathrooms for a group of six (plus two kids).
Located within easy reach of the castle, market square and walking trails and we did have a super time.
We were very cosy and comfortable. We loved the age and character of the property. It was fun to be so close to the centre of Ludlow and the surrounding countryside was just as beautiful
This is a great house for a large group, although the kitchen is small there is plenty of crockery etc and a large dining table. The location is excellent and it was good to have the back garden.
A lovely property great for a short stay. Perfectly located for the town and countryside walks.
The property was very clean.
Key handover on arrival were hassle free and hosts were very helpful.
A lovely yet quirky property that's situated just a few minutes walk from the centre of Ludlow. The house had plenty of space and we loved the old world charm of it.
A really quirky house with lots of rooms to explore. Great hosts who were really welcoming. House is ideally situated for exploring the town. The house and furniture are all very old , and there is a lot of furniture in the house. The kitchen is small but has everything you need - it was fun trying to guess who might have lived there in the past.
