Obviously an older home but nice and clean. 1 window unit in living room is loud but provided good heat. Bathroom is small but good hot water. Host had excellent communication and checkin/checkout was easy
Although the residence was small, it was adequate for needs! It was clean, check-in was accomplished easily. Our host was easy to contact and quick to meet our needs.
We had a wonderful stay at this cottage. The communication was excellent. The place was very clean. The price was awesome! I would happily recommend this cottage and stay here again if I’m ever staying in town. Thank you so much for a great weekend!!!
Really cute little house with nice little garden/back yard. Tiny, but well equipped kitchen and appliances are great for a simple, short stay but you may find it limiting if you wanted to do more cooking on longer stays. It was just right for our stay over, but we found the window AC units took a bit of figuring out to get a comfortable temperature in the August heat. The bathroom is also compact that big and tall people may find limiting. We also really enjoyed walking around the neighborhood. Some really cute houses and it was a very short drive to restaurants and a big park.
We had a pleasant stay in this little but cozy house, it's very basic, I wouonky be worried about the weather because if it's too cold or too hot the HVAC system and insulations is poor. Other than that is decent for the price.
It’s was very small but perfect. It had window units for cooling which was ok but I prefer central.

It’s more than “rustic”
Bugs in the bathroom, cockroaches on day 1&2, owner seemed less than concerned dirty kitchen; I would never cook anything as both the toaster oven and stove drip pans were gross. Rustic isn’t a replacement term for dirty

College cottage
House was quiet, but the refrigerator didn't work. sofa had no back cushions. It could use some updating. Low water pressure.
Probably not for a person with physical disability. Multiple level house. Enjoyed the large refrigerator and freezer.

Only for the cold-natured.
Perfect neighborhood location within close proximity to Amarillo College and a park. But, the climate control within this property needs improvement. Temps were over 90F during the day and the single wall unit is NOT adequate to cool off either of the bedrooms even with the available box fan at night. We did not feel comfortable enough to leave the only window open while we slept as it was the only one that opened but had no screen. Further, the only skillet available was a flimsy old one that had nonstick coating flaking off and the only large burner on the mini cooking range was unavailable. Also the main doorknob to the entryway was loose. Further, host was notified of our late arrival after midnight but no lights were on to help us locate the address nor fumble with key access. Thankfully, my phone has a flashlight. Maintenance and climate needs improvement.
How was helping my son move from Denver to Dallas, we needed a place to just rest her head overnight. This was perfect, quaint little house. Super easy to get along with the owner, and excellent communication. As advertised!
The house was super cute, had everything we needed and was close to restaurants, shopping and palo duro. The beds were comfy and the shower was really hot and had good pressure too, great after a long hike.
