Full old town center of Vence on the Place du Peyra charming duplex entirely renovated on the 4th floor without elevator; and yes! The view has to be earned! Once at the top it is a little paradise!
The duplex consists of a bedroom with a large bed (160cm) and a bathroom with wc. A smaller bedroom under the roof with skylight and a single bed. The 2 bedrooms are separated by a curtain.
Upstairs is the brand new fully equipped kitchen with washing machine, oven, microwave, fridge, everything you need for cooking, etc ... and a small living room with new TV.
FREE WIFI in the apartment
You are in the heart of the old town and all the shops are within your reach.
The kitchen / living room has 4 windows and a French window leading to the small terrace (you are on the roofs).
View of the Baous de Vence, the sea and the Place du Grand Jardin where the Nuits du Sud concerts take place.
Bed and bathroom linen provided.

In the heart of the old town of Vence Charming Duplex Apartment entirely redone on the 4th flour without elevator, but once on the top you deserve the view! Over the Baous of Vence, the sea and the main square "Place du Grand Jardin" where the concerts of The Nuits du Sud are taking place in July. At the top it's a little gem!
The apartment is composed of one bedroom with a large bed and bathroom with toilet. A smaller room under the roof with skylight and a single bed. The two bedrooms are separated by a curtain.
On the top floor is the brandnew kitchen with everything one need and a small living room with TV.

Great View from the 5th Floor perch

Great location, right by the Peyra Fountain, all the needs are close by shopping etc. Sonia was a helpful and kind host, and was a pleasure to deal with. Vence the old city area is very active and vibrant with a close by market near daily in the Grand Jardin. Just be ready for the walk up and down from the flat, it is a lot of steps, and I needed the exercise and did not mind.

Wonderful base camp on top of Vence

Wonderful apartment, beautiful view over old Vence and the mountain slopes. You wake up to the smell of freshly baked baguettes and croissants from "Boulangerie du Peyra" downstairs in the grund floor of the building.

die wohnung ist schöner als auf den bildern! man hat aus den verschieden ausgerichteten fenstern tolle blicke auf stadt, markt, berge und meer. obwohl mitten in der stadt total ruhig. sehr sauber und gemütlich. viele lampen für den abend. und eine sehr sympathische vermieterin.

Amazing location and magnificent views

I very much enjoyed being in the center of things in Vence, right there in the Old Town, which is so incredibly charming. The apartment itself in on different levels, with the top level having views on three sides. The view from the kitchen sink is of the Mediterranean some ways below. Other windows look out on the red rooftops and the nearby hills. It is a comfortable place, and the owner could not be nicer or more accommodating.

Die perfekte Unterkunft

Die Unterkunft ist gemacht für den perfekten Urlaub! Die Terrasse ist klein aber für zwei Personen sehr bequem und die Aussicht sehr sehr schön. Zwei Klimaanlagen können unabhängig voneinander für das Wohnzimmer und für das Schlafzimmer benutzt werden. Das Schlafzimmer ist dadurch angenehm kühl und kann komplett abgedunkelt werden. Wegen der Lage gibt es keinen Verkehrslärm und auch die Bars und Restaurants bedeuten keine Ruhestörung. Die nächste Bäckerei ist direkt im Erdgeschoss und hat viele leckere Produkte. Die Küche ist nicht üppig aber gut ausgestattet. Die Wohnung ist absolut sauber und modern eingerichtet. Eventuell ist sie für sehr große Mieter etwas zu beengt aber für uns war sie absolut perfekt und wir hoffen dass wir bald wiederkommen können. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war unkompliziert und wir haben eine gute Lösung gefunden für den wegen Corona ausgefallenen Urlaub letztes Jahr.

Au coeur du village avec vue sur la montagne

Gîte charmant, très agréable, confortable et spacieux. On domine Vence et la petite terrasse permet des petits déjeuners au soleil avec vue sur les montagnes. Tous les commerces sont au pied du gîte et de nombreux restos vous accueillent à la fraîcheur du soir. Hôtes charmants et le gîte est bien équipé.

Rooftop and mountain views

Sonia was easy to communicate with beforehand. We only had challenges once in France when phone calls and texts did not get through. Luckily she was at the property when we arrived. The apartment was delightful. But there are a lot of stairs! If one is tall be very careful about bumping your head! Comfortable bed, good shower. We loved breakfast looking out over the rooftops of Vence. Highly recommend this place.

Fantastic holiday flat with a breathtaking view!

We spent two fantastic weeks in Sonia‘s lovely holiday flat. The flat is perfectly located in the center of the old town. Once you open the door you are standing in the middle of restaurants, bars and shops. At the same time the flat is very quiet because it is on the 4th floor, from where you have a astonishing view over the roofs of the old town. Sonia is a very nice host and the flat was very clean. We definitely want to come back!

A beautiful, comfortable base from which to enjoy Vence and the surrounding area

Many thanks Sonia for providing such a clean, well-thought out space. We loved buying food in the many specialist shops and eating on the terrace with the rooftop views whilst serenaded by the fountain below that shimmered up the walls at night. We explored the area less than we'd anticipated - partly due to the rain, but also because we were very content to stay put and imbibe! That said, the Foundation Maeght was an undoubted highlight - an almost sacred experience. All in all, many thanks and we hope to be back!

Charmantes Feriendomizil

Die Gastgeber haben uns sehr freundlich empfangen und sich viel Zeit genommen, um uns alle wichtigen Informationen über Vence und seine Umgebung zu geben. Die Wohnung ist praktisch eingerichtet und mit allem Nötigen versehen. Die Schlafzimmer sind miteinander verbunden und können nicht wirklich getrennt genutzt werden. Genossen habe wir jeweils das Frühstück draussen auf dem Balkon an der warmen Herbst-Sonne mit Blick über die Dächer in die Hügel und den Himmel von Vence. Empfehlen würden wir die Wohnung an Paare, Kunstliebhaber und Feinschmecker und natürlich auch an Naturliebhaber, die das charmante französische Ambiente der Innenstadt mit den kleinen Bistros, der Musik auf den Strassen und den speziellen Lieberhaberläden entdecken und geniessen wollen.

séjour extraordinaire à Vence

Un séjour extraordinaire dans la belle ville de Vence, authentique et animée (place du Grand Jardin, marché, nombreux commerces et restaurants, ruelles pavées, fontaines, etc.). Le logement est a le charme de l’ancien refait tout à neuf et très bien aménagé et décoré. Son emplacement est idéal au quatrième étage d'un immeuble de la place du Peyra en plein centre historique et à deux pas de tout. De la pièce à vivre et du grand balcon (abrité du soleil l’après-midi), la vue est imprenable sur les toits de la vieille ville et sur les Baous en face. On y entend même le glouglou de la fontaine alimentée en eau de source ultra fraîche aux nombreuses vertus. La pièce du haut très lumineuse dispose de fenêtres sur trois orientations, y compris une vue sur la mer au loin. La cuisine intégrée est fonctionnelle et ultra moderne. La literie et les matériaux sont de qualités. Petit coin salon adorable avec télé écran plat orientable. Et climatisation sur chacun des deux niveaux pour ceux qui craignent la chaleur. Pour se baigner, la plage des Cros de Cagne est la plus proche à 20 minutes en voiture. Excellent accueil de la part des propriétaires qui connaissent très bien la région et nous ont donné de précieux conseils et de la documentation sur le stationnement, les restaurants, les randonnées etc. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir au Duplex du Peyra.

Apartamento muy acogedor en el centro

Apartamento duplex prácticamente a estrenar en el centro histórico. Muy acogedor y decorado con buen gusto. No apto para personas con movilidad reducida. Todo estaba perfecto. Los dueños muy amables y serviciales, se portaron fantástico.

Fantastic

Great newly renovated apartment in a perfect location . The facilities and layout are very good and would strongly recommend staying here . Being able to walk out directly into the village is truly unique! The owners were magnificent in recommending attractions, restaurants and helped in transporting our substantial luggage up the stairs! Our stay here was truly memorable . We hope to return again during our 6 month european expo !
