Overall the stay was nice. The location is great the parking is good and the check in process was easy as the manager gave me the door code and information after requesting for it ahead of arrival. The cleaning was definitely lacking especially since I was forced to pay a cleaning fee during booking which was not advertised. The floors were sticky and dirty. The bedding didn’t smell clean. The place is aged and it shows. The aged window air conditioning was not cleaned at all in the living room and had mold. The bedroom had a portable air conditioning unit that was not even installed correctly as the vent duct was behind a curtain and not installed to vent out the window. They were also very loud to use. But they did provide some toiletries which was nice and some used beach gear was there for use. All in all a good place to stay if they just cleaned the place better.

The location was really great, right across the street from a lovely beach, the pool was super nice and it was within walking distance of good food and coffee vendors. However, I am disappointed with the cleanliness of the vrbo. It was awfully dirty when we arrived and not organized or tidy. The floors turned my socks black within 20 minutes of being in the place. The closets were so unorganized and filthy, I did not feel comfortable with the overall condition of the place.

This place is in an excellent spot to walk to the beach, restaurants or a convenience store. The unit was pretty well equipped with most things you might want to use and the air conditioning worked well. There was an intermittent high pitched noise coming from the light in the bathroom (which I thought may have been a fire an alarm running low on battery). That was a pretty annoying but I just shut the door. The water pressure was good and the host was easy going and responsive. Be aware, you do need to bring your own shampoo, soap, laundry detergent, etc., I think this unit was a good value and I would stay here again.

Good location to shopping, meals and the beach.
This is a very nice rental but could use a good deep cleaning. The rental was clean and ready for use but slightly shabby bathroom, with a very leaky tub faucet. Amenities were great with laundry soap, shampoo, etc. and some staples (including coffee and filters) in the kitchen and frig. This is a good location to this part of Kihei and the beach for excellent sunsets. However, being in Building 1 there was more traffic noise than we expected. Fortunately, it was less after 10:00 pm so sleeping was fine. Communication with the owner was great and it is a rental we would consider again.

Nice stay on Maui
We had a very nice stay in this apartment. It was a quiet area next to the sea. Maybe switch to a new (not dirty) toaster. But all-in-all it was a great stay.

Fantastic stay!! Perfect location
We spent 12 days and it was perfect. Clean, well stocked home and quiet. Great location a quick 3 min walk to the Beach. 5 min walk to surf at the cove or have happy hour downtown Kihei. Super easy check in and out Jason was quick to respond with any question. I highly recommend staying here and we plan to come stay again.

Good location with the beach right across the street and multiple dining options close by. It was also easy to drive to other places around Maui for day trips from the condo. We had everything we needed inside the condo--from cookware to beach towels and extra tote bags. Jason was great at communicating with us and answering our questions quickly.

Perfect vacation

Maui getaway
Jason was a great host, answering any questions we had during our stay promptly. The location of the property was great, the beach is across the street and the cove beach (for surfing) was only 5 minute walk with board rentals right there! The apartment itself could use a little bit of cleaning/dusting but overall we found it very good. Make sure you keep your food in the fridge or wrapped up tight otherwise it may attract some small bugs. AC was a life saver for getting away from the heat. Thanks for everything Jason!

You get what you pay for?? Bugs!
Was ok. Would I stay there again? No. It needs a MAJOR DEEP CLEANING. Dust, dirt etc everywhere. That place has bugs crawling everywhere as well. I didn’t even feel comfortable preparing my dinner in the kitchen Bc of the bugs crawling everywhere. They were in the kitchen, bathroom, kitchen table, even found them in the bed! They look like little ants. Getting a hold of the owner is impossible. I had to call him to find out how to even get into the unit. No information was shared. He texted saying “text only”. Ok. The unit needs work. But you get what you pay for. I’d rather fork out more money to stay somewhere where there’s no bugs crawling over every item in there. You’re never in your room so it’s not that important, but it needs some serious cleaning and new towels as they were stained. The mattress also needs replacing. It caved in the middle. If you don’t have funds and just need somewhere to sleep then it’s ok. But if you have the funds, I say look elsewhere.
