We love this part of Honolulu. The studio apartment was well thought out and had everything we need. The property manager was very helpful and we enjoyed our stay. I would suggest replacing the bath towels and beach towels.
We stayed here for 12 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. The apartment is clean and comfortable with everything you will need for you stay. The apartment is located in a beautiful area which is quiet and convenient about a 15 minute walk into the centre of Waikiki. We are definitely looking forward to staying here again!
Enjoyed our stay at the Diamond Head Hotel & Resort. We really liked the back patio where we could watch the sun set and eat at the tables. Mahalo...

Difficult access for mobility challenges. Parking. Arrived to property, difficulty accessing lock box, finally able to obtain key/parking FOB. Parking in garage very tight, even for small car. Park nearby. Beach down street, walking distance. For more able, walking to town accessible. For our needs, unit was challenging r/t Microwave in upboard above fridge - had to use step stool (very small), danger for those with balance and mobility issues. Possibly for anyone getting hot food/drinks out. TV was difficult, no instruction on site - kept getting "no signal". Have to say, value for this unit based on viewing unit next door lacked for appeal for homey to feel and better ammenities. People in general living/staying were very friendly. Security on duty at night.
Within easy walking distance to Waikiki but far enough away to enjoy the quiet of the Diamond Head neighborhood.
With a car rental, explored the entire island!
Located on the 7th floor of building just south of aquarium with views of Waikiki Beach and sunsets. For cooking, used the electric fry pan. It is good for grilled sandwiches and heating frozen stir fry. Diamond Head Grill and Market has excellent take out and restaurants are within walking distance. Be sure to reserve a parking space in the garage. It was well worth the extra cost.
Stayed a week with my spouse, just enough space for us two…lovely views, nice kitchenette (who wants to cook full meals on vacation!), easy check-in. Secure property. Easy 1 mile walk to downtown Waikiki.
Great location, close to the beach and Kapiolani park. Lovely studio, very quiet, fairly well equipped kitchen, very comfortable bed.
Recommend paying for parking on weekends; during the week, there is sufficient metered street parking across the street, free from 6pm-10am.
Would stay here again!
Perfect jump off location for all the Oahu places to visit. 2min walk to great snorkeling (saw turtles), Waikiki beach, and the strip. Far enough away that it's quiet and clean.
Gated convenient parking in the basement if you want to pay for it.
(I'd stay away from parking spot 16 due to leaky water pipe overhead)
My wife and I were visiting Hawaii for the first time, to attend a work conference. Between the views of Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head, the amazing Tradewinds breeze that flowed through our room, and the incredible back patio of the hotel, we truly loved our room! We also appreciated that the VRBO, while only a few minutes walk to the beach and the heart of the city, was located in the mellower part of town.
I had a wonderful stay. It was perfect for my first time. I felt safe. Theis condo has everything. Itcwasxwell thought out. Walmart and Safeway way close by car. Parking was challenging but I figured out the secret.
I would love to return here someday.
Aloha and Mahalo

This is one rather important kitchen need and I didn't realize that there wasn't one in the room. There was a very nice electric frying pan/lid that we did use. The griddle wasn't needed. However, the other cooking utensil we couldn't figure out how to use. So after 30+ minutes of trying, we gave up and just used the electric frying pan. Everything else was just fine. I would recommend this apartment to anyone interested in a rather quiet locale. BUT a microwave is a definite necessity.
I stayed at this property during a recent work trip to Oahu and it’s was the perfect fit for my needs. I had more space than staying in a hotel The building was pleasant and the neighborhood was quiet but convenient. I’d definitely stay here on future work and leisure trips to Oahu!
This was a nice, clean place to stay. Walking distance to beach access, restaurants and shopping. Would recommend walking or Uber, not a car rental as parking is a little tricky with the popularity of the beach.
