Relaxing!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location was excellent, with the pool right outside our door and the beach just steps away it was just what our family needed! We would love to come back and visit when it's warmer weather and make good use of the outdoor pool. The only thing I wish was different is that the outdoor pools would have been heated, but the option to swim at the indoor pool was great! One thing I would suggest is maybe a couple of more pans to cook with, we made it work with what was there, but an extra sheet pan or two would've been helpful. The back left burner on the stove wasn't working, but it didn't stop us from being able to cook, just something they may want to check out! I would definitely recommend this place to to family and friends.

Great Week at Orange Beach

The unit is in an excellent location on the 1st floor, which was great to just walk out to the swimming pool & Barbeque grills; and walk across the pool deck to the beach. It is a bit dated, and could use a few upgrades, but we enjoyed ourselves.

Place was not clean at all. Dirty pot holders in the drawer, pee around the base of the toilet, laundry room door kept coming off, communication was 0! So many other things!

Worth it

Overall, this was a very nice room on the ground floor. It had some little things that need to be fixed but nothing to prevent us from enjoying it all week long. Would for sure rent this one again.

This ground level corner unit is absolute perfection! We loved the convenience of stepping outside and being at the pool or a small walk down to the beach. Windward Pointe is so close to many grocery stores and restaurants which was the cherry on top. Definitely cannot wait to come back!

Great ground floor condo!

This condo is on the beach and the pool is right in front of this condo. The beach is a very short walk. Walmart and GOOD restaurants are close also!

Disappointed

Unit was not clean. We had to rewash all dishes, pots and pans. Floors were dirty with sand, shower curtains had mold on them. Coffee pot was cracked, causing coffee to leak everywhere. Sliding patio doors were nearly impossible to open and close. The gate to pool was boarded up obstructing gulf views. Patio furniture was worn, some pieces broken. They need replaced. Twin beds were worn and uncomfortable. Location to pool and beach was nice. Beach was extremely crowded. Owners need to do some upgrades prior to renting again.

Everything was pretty satisfactory. Back sliding door is hard to open and close was the only thing we found needed attention. Floor level was very nice. Would stay here again and recommend to others.

Awful construction that ruined our trip!

We weren’t allowed to look out our windows, use our balcony or pool! We never got to utilize our oceanfront view. We utilize VRBO a few times a year and we will never book again. I have several photos and videos of this awful “surprise” construction!!!!

Beyers Family (2) 2022

Unit was not as clean or well appointed as the 2nd unit we rented. We rented (2) units for the week. This unit fit our family needs very well. The unit does need a "freshening up" and replacement of some items that are just getting worn out. Nothing was bad or dangerous, just some items needing taken care of. Vacasa staff took care of a few minor items very fast and without interuption to our stay. Unit basically needs an overall very deep cleaning. Some beds are / were worn excessively and need replaced. The deck furniture is at the age of needing replacement too. Very easy access to the pool area and beach areas. The indoor heated pool was very much needed at this time of year.

Great Stay

The confo was Great it was very clean, everything worked great had plenty of dishes and kitchen utensils even for the kids, loved the big patio going out to the pool and beach. Only thing that I had a small problem with is the indoor pool is across the parking lot from the condo and it was a cold walk in January but the pool area was very nice and warm.

Vacasa stay unit 106

The condo is convenient on the first floor. The arm on the chair on the porch is broken. There is no screen on the screen door. The sliding glass door does not lock. The fan in the master bath does not work. The refrigerator freezes your food. The toilet in the second bathroom does not work. The storm door on the right side does not come down so no privacy at night with people walking around. Vacasa told me there was parking available for a third car. There is not!! The unit advertises 6 people but only 2 parking places When i asked if there was a shuttle available for parking to bring us back i was told no!!!!!

Great location for New Year's trip

If you're looking for an easy access location, then this is a GREAT place to stay. At first I was nervous about the location and I worried about privacy due it being a corner unit, but it seems that everyone uses the opposite side of the bldg to access the pool/beach based on the location of the elevator. The ONLY thing that was lacking was the amount of items for use in the kitchen. We tend to prepare meals during the day and there was only 1 frying pan, a cupcake pan and a roasting pan. The ability to fix a meal for the amount of people that this unit will hold would be great, so just keep that in mind when packing for your trip. (There isn't a Keurig, just a regular coffee pot.) Overall, this is a nice, clean condo that we would stay in again.

Great location

Windward Pointe is in a great location…convenient to grocery stores—WalMart !market, Rouses and Publix all within a very short drive—, gas station and pharmacies nearby, too. Plenty of places to eat within a short distance, as well. The ground floor condo has a gate to the pool and grill area mere steps from the porch. The condo is a nice size and has a large sectional sofa which seats a lot of people. The bedrooms are all a good size. The kitchen was pretty well stocked, although there is no icemaker. The parking pass is very inexpensive and easily obtained online before you arrive. There were a few minor issues, but I feel confident that Vacasa will see that those things are taken care of. Check in and out could not be easier.

Fabulous Condo!

We loved this condo! The location was perfect, the place was well outfitted. We felt it was clean. The beds were comfortable. All appliances and showers worked well. We just loved the proximity to the pool and the beach! So convenient just to be able to run inside if you needed something. The air conditioning worked great. It was spacious and very, very nice! There are only two negatives: the main patio door was close to impossible to open, especially if you were outside trying to get in! It was SO hard to open the door!! Our Grandma and our 9-year old flat out could not open it themselves. The 2nd was the crummy patio furniture. There was a rickety table and 4 chairs, one of which was broken. We spent quite a bit of time out there, and wished we had a nice table and chair to sit. But other than the door and the outdoor furniture, this condo was just about perfect! We’d come back in a heartbeat!
