This stylish and comfortable Orange Beach condo includes a private, furnished balcony with views of the gulf. High-speed internet is available for work or play during your travels, plus this rental boasts a cozy and chic living area and a full, well-equipped kitchen. This condo is welcoming to snowbirds and allows monthly reservations during the winter months. Swim or just cool off in the beachside, indoor/outdoor pool. You'll also find a shared grilling and picnic area perfect for family cookouts.

Tradewinds offers immediate access to the adjacent beach. The family-friendly Adventure Island, home of mini-golf and a fun-filled arcade, sits right on the other side of Perdido Beach Boulevard. And just three miles up the coast, discover restaurants, shops, and a full-service marina at SanRoc Cay Marina, only three miles away.

Monthly reservations are available from November 1st through March 1st.
The Tradewinds condominium building is under renovations for the upcoming months. Workers will be on site during daytime hours. Excessive noise may be heard during the daytime. Parking may be limited as equipment is moved around the building. Access into units may be required for work or inspections. Amenities may be closed at any time. Work may be delayed due to weather. The pool is expected to be closed until Spring 2024 at least. Guests will be notified of specific updates as they become available to Vacasa.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Needs updating

The location was great! Bathrooms were small and furniture very uncomfortable. We had 2 fridges in the condo and one didn't work; the other smelled like fish. Loved having washer/dryer in the unit. The view was nice!

Horrible!

I have never stayed somewhere as dirty and unprofessional as this place the location is perfect but the communication is non existent. I reached out every single day I was there up until the last day and every single time they lied about coming to check on the refrigerator not working at all since day one. Come to find out a representative told me they already knew this and continued to rent out the house and they didn’t bother to let us know ahead of time they just kept giving us false information about someone coming when no one was going to come. We purchased groceries for the week and most went bad. The sliding shades were falling off which made us not feel safe letting our toddler play in the living room area because they were heavy and could snap at any minute. One of the ladies yelled at me when I called and told me to relax. Again the location is great and for almost $3000 I would of expected something better because this was the worst trip ever and I will warn everyone not to stay here and that they could find somewhere 100% better somewhere else.

Some Issues

The only issue we had was the fold out couch had dirty linens on it. We could not find additional linens so that we could change it. Other than that we enjoyed our stay. The bunk beds are small and definitely for smaller children. We loved the location, beach, and basically everything else about to condo.

Quick Getaway

Nice getaway for me and my girls. It’s small but quaint. Needs some updates in bathrooms and the bunk bed mattresses weren’t great. Nice view of the ocean and a quiet setting.

Great view from the front door and patio. The condo had everything our home had to enjoy our stay.

The washer and dryer were a lifesaver. Walmart in 3 minutes down the street.

Overall a great place to stay. It is on the 10th floor and the door to balcony did not lock. I feel this safety issue needs to be addressed and I did report it as well as a stopped up sink in the master bath that drains very slow. AC is VERY loud also. The company Vacasa that handles the condo Is very unresponsive to VRBO messages and to their own email address.

You have views from the balcony and the balcony out the front door. We loved this condo. It was perfect for our trip and the arcades and go karts are right across the street.

Nice Unit

The unit was nice...small but nice. The bunk beds are strictly for children. They were too short for my 11 year old daughter. The unit was nicely furnished. The kitchen was lacking in items like a measuring cup, measuring spoons, etc. The floors were beautiful hardwoods. However, there were no mats to wipe your feet on, so we either had to use a towel, or tracked sand all over. While the unit was nice and clean, the building seems to be run down...unclean common areas, rusting doors to the stairwells, etc. I know things are still being taken care of from the hurricane, but things can be clean.

2020 Vacay

We loved our stay at Tradewinds. The place was clean, well decorated, and very comfortable. The only reason I’m giving a 4 instead of a 5 is because (1) the elevator broke one evening (2) our toilet barely flushed and the sink took a long time to drain. I called for maintenance and was told I would hear from someone within 2 hours. It wasn’t until the next day, unannounced, did a repairman show up. He was quick and was able to repair both issues so it wasn’t horrible.

I liked that I didn’t have to go to the office to check in. Having an electric key code was great too. However, I had to call to get my code. We arrived at our unit at 4 pm and had not received the code. The condo unit was okay. We only had 3 people, the outdoor space only had chairs for 2 people. The unit says it will hold 6. At least one more outside chair is needed. There was no cabinet space to store food. Luckily we didn’t have much, so we used counter space. Counter space is limited too. The unit had a odd smell to it. But appeared clean. There are some finish work that could be done in the unit. In the master bath you could tell a newer vanity had been installed. There was a 2 inch gap that should have been filled in the wall along the baseboard. The dishwasher was off too and when pulling out the bottom rack would slide off the track. Not a show stopper, just annoying. We had an issue with water pressure in the kitchen faucet, maintenance staff resolved it. Someone had installed a filter in the kitchen faucet. We ended up buying our own sheets and blanket. The spare stuff in the closet looked dirty/dingy. The wait for the elevator was not bad. Too many people on the 1st and 2nd floor using it. We’ve stayed in low profile units and only used elevator to bring in all our staff upon arrival/departure and groceries. All other times we used the stairs.
