Great location
Perfect size for small family (we had 3 adults, 3 kids) and had just enough room without feeling cramped. The king bedroom door handle was broken which limited the privacy. TV remotes did not work in a couple of rooms (we don't watch much TV, but could be an issue for other renters). Overall would recommend this unit, as the pool/beach/location is great in my opinion.

Super cute cottage and very nice beachfront community. Blackout curtains or blinds in the bedrooms would be a huge plus! A tip I'd give future renters, take ear plugs because the cottage is close to busy beach blvd and there is quite a bit of road noise.

I give it 3.5 stars. It could easily be a 10!
The location is perfect. The neighborhood is nice. The kitchen was well stocked. We never ran out of hot water. My son loved the built in bunk beds. The house itself is good, but it could be amazing with some minor improvements. The furniture needs a DEEP cleaning, or better yet replaced. Fix the things that people have mentioned for over a year. Replace the broken faucet in master bath, replace broken hooks and handles in bathrooms. Fix the door locks. Replace the mattresses---the master is disgusting. Or at very least put mattress covers on the beds. Put blankets in the house. Guests shouldn't have to ask for those. And extra towels. A couple of hundred bucks could go a long way here.

Just ok….
The house is beautiful but there are several light bulbs that need to be changed in the kitchen. On our last night we had to kill several roaches in the living room. There were unwashed washed towels in the washing machine upon arrival. No Wine opener. Toilet handle was broken upon arrival was fixed the following day. Hardly any Cell Service in complex. WiFi was good though. Be sure to not allow kids to use the remote. Ours rented $25 worth of movies. This feature should be blocked or at least let the renter know about this before checkin.

It was such a headache to deal with all the problems we encountered. The listing of the house was not accurate at all, there were zero bath mats and blankets ( my husband and i literally slept with bed sheets the first night, until we bought a blanket from Walmart, luckily I had brought with us blankets for the kids). Several broken items throughout the house or missing such as hair dryer or chair cushions. The main couch on living room was so dirty that they sent a cleaning company but that was on the last day of our stay and the couch has to be drying for at least two hrs after that. We were previously using it with a sheet over so that our kids didn’t get direct contact with it. We spent several hrs on the phone with Vacasa in different times of the day and the only thing they kept doing was putting in requests, but none of them came to life. We had our three small kids with us, including a baby under 1, and let me tell you that the last thing you want to worry about while on vacation with them is comfort of the home you rented. The house is falling apart and there are all kinds of random personal items (such as books, cheap beach items) left behind because the management group doesn’t check the house for anything. All the basic items that were missing could all be avoided with regular walk throughs.

Orange Beach Dreamsicle-ish
Overall a great little house and gated community! Short walk to perfect white sandy beach. Awesome pool! House could use some improvements. Master bed is horribly hard and loudly protests if you move your pinky in the middle of the night. Heaven forbid if you move an arm, your sleeping partner practically gets bounced out of the bed. The shower heads are like being pressure washed with needles. The kitchen had plenty of counter space to enjoy our food - along with the ants. All the curtains are see-thru at night, so practice getting dressed and using the potty in the dark so your neighbors don’t get a show. Also, there are no curtains or window coverings for the main living room door/windows. If you’re ok with everyone at the pool seeing everything you do after dark, then this is the place for you! Otherwise, it’s an awesome house in an awesome community! We loved spending the week there!

The house was very nice and clean. The only issues I had was the house was close to the road and you could hear all the loud vehicles and motorcycles late at night while trying to sleep. The only other issue is the home needs more extra blankets.

Perfect dream beach house! This was exactky what you want for a beach stay with family or friends. This was great for children, especially smaller with the out door shower, view of the pool from deck and SHORT walk to the sand. House is as described and pictures are very accurate! Would stay here again!

Coastal Cottage
We loved the layout of the gated community that the home is in. The two story home offered a great deal of room for our family. The proximity to the beach and the outdoor common area pool were nice. Written instructions on how to lock the doors and details regarding where the outdoor trashcans were located would have been helpful. The master bedroom faces the main street in Orange Beach so some nights were a bit noisy.

Perfect place and location
Well decorated and perfectly located to a great part of Orange Beach which is a short walk from the back door. We were in town for four days and truly enjoyed the cottage which was even more spacious than what we expected. Nice wood panel walls and ceilings with a comfortable deck and every thing you could need. Had a little trouble with opening the exterior garbage door but other than that everything about our stay was perfect especially sitting on the rear covered deck and enjoying our short walk to pool and beach. Gated community added additional privacy in an already quiet and well kept area. We will be back

Perfect location
We absolutely loved Orange Beach. First time here and will definitely come back. The place was wonderful also. Very cozy with a neat beachy theme. I do believe the furniture needs cleaning or replacing and the dryer unfortunately was not working properly. Everything else messed all of our expectations. Loved we could look at pool from back porch and also just steps away from the beach. Would highly recommend this place.

Wonderful stay,...we ended up adding two days to our stay
Very nice property, only a few items that need to be adressed,...toilet paper holders and hooks in the showers are broken or loose and need to be replaced,...also trash can is simply setting in living room / kitchen with no lid. But overall we would be happy to stay here again...:)

Couple of problems that can be easily fixed
The property looked great and was pretty clean and in a nice gated small community. The three problems where I notified the property manager, and my text was acknowledged but they never got back to me. It was pretty chilly during our stay, and we needed heat. If it was on it was 10 or more degrees hotter upstairs and freezing downstairs. When we stripped the bed there was no mattress protector and there were urine stains our bed that we had been sleeping on for days. That was pretty gross. There should be mattress protectors on beds that are being slept in by multiple people.None of the other mattresses had protectors either. I have pictures if you would like to follow up with me.

Updates needed
TV’s are a issue. Only able to watch what was on in living room for tv’s upstairs. Contacted Management but no one answered my problem. Mattresses need up dated no mattress covers on beds. Sheets were old & peeling. Towels were old & rough. Pull knob for shower in master bedroom was missing. Needs shower mat, tub is slippery. Living furniture is old stained & needs replaced. The up side is the location was awesome.
