A short distance to Point Beach State Forest, Mariners walking /bike trail along beautiful Lake Michigan, Woodland Dunes nature center, Neshotah Beach with a sand beach, local fishing charters, live music, festivals!

The cottage has three bedrooms with the master bedroom having 3/4 bathroom upstairs and walk in closet!
2 bedrooms on main level with one being a queen size bed and the other being made into either a single, 2 singles or a king size mattress.
2 bedrooms have smart TVs.
1 full bath down... both bathrooms have shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hair dryers!

Fully stocked kitchen which includes coffee, sugar, creamers, snacks, spices, wine opener, blender, crockpot, toaster, ice maker, coffee maker and all the cooking items you might need to make a wonderful meal for your family!

Loved it

We were in the area for a family reunion. My 94 year old father stayed with us and uses a walker. He was able to get in and out of the house easily, very few steps. We were able to take advantage of the kayaks and outdoor games. I highly recommend this house.

Enjoyable property on the water

We had a very nice stay at this property. It was just as advertised and was very clean. We had no issues with the property at all. At first we had difficulty communicating with the host - it was due to VRBO having an old phone number with the listing. Once VRBO and the host addresses that issue, all was 100% good. We stayed there and traveled to Door county and to Lambeau Field. Both were easy drives.

Amazing Stay

The property and location were beautiful. Listing was exactly as described. We woke up early to sit by the peaceful water and kayaked in the afternoon. Private, quiet location. Quick drive to the grocery store or beach if wanted.

What a lovely home and experience! Erica made our stay seamless with great communication and the property exceeded our expectations (which were high to begin with!). Being right on the water was amazing and we had such a wonderful time. Can't wait to come back!

Overall the house and yard exceeded our expectations. The property was very close to Lake Michigan, downtown Two Rivers and Manitowoc. Also, for our family it presented a good midway point for meeting.

Peaceful Break from a Busy World

The peacefulness in the location and scenery is a little bit of Wisconsin heaven. Plus a clean Lake Michigan beach only a short drive away. The house itself is beautiful, clean and supplied with all you will need. Erica is so kind and responsive. We will definitely be back.

Comfortable house on the lake!

We loved this place! The pictures don’t really do the place justice! It was clean, comfortable in every way, and had everything we could have needed in the kitchen and baths. The beds are very comfortable and more than enough for our party. The communication with the owner was TOP NOTCH- there is not one thing they missed! The neighbors next door (especially their dog, Radio) are even fantastic! The only negative was that the stay wasn't long enough!

Wonderful Area & Home on the river.

We loved this home on the river. It is attractive, clean and comfortable. The view and access to the river is perfect. We made a fire in the fire pit each night and had s'mores with the grandchildren. We would definitely come back.

Family time at the cottage

We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 day stay at the cottage. Everything was lovely. The beds are really comfy, the kitchen was well supplied with anything we needed & it was really nice to use the water toys available on-site. Our stay was fun & peaceful. Mark & Julie were wonderful hosts.

Very relaxing and peaceful trip!!

This home is absolutely beautiful! We very much enjoyed the gorgeous sunsets and the wildlife. The river views are amazing, and everything we could've thought of was provided! Mark and Julie are very gracious hosts, we were welcomed with cold bottled water, all the snacks you could want, s'mores fixings, and a bottle of wine! The beds are very comfortable and the cabin is very well taken care of, we truly enjoyed our stay! Thank you Mark and Julie!

Absolutely wonderful

The property owner was very nice and accommodating. The place was beautiful and had amazing wildlife views. We all loved the 3 season room with incredible views of the river and the wildlife. I know we saw geese, ducks, egrets, blue herons and eagles. It's definitely the best place we have stayed in and hopefully we will get to visit again next year.

Birthday getaway!

I wasn’t planning on going anywhere for my birthday but my friends talked me into it. There is lots of great places to look at on this site but Julie and her home are above the rest! She provided so many amenities where we literally only needed our cloths and beverages! The home is cozy and the view of the backyard is second to none! It rained most of the nights but that didn’t matter, the home had games to play and a 4 seasons room in the backyard to relax and hang out in! What an incredible time and we are definitely going to be back! Thank you so much Julie and Mark!

Waterfront Haven was amazing!

We had a fantastic experience at Waterfront Haven. Even before we left, our kids (teen and adults) were asking to come back. We had absolutely everything we needed from the time we arrived until the morning we left. Julie and Mark have a very special place on the West Twin river. The communication prior to our arrival was exceptional and the snacks and wine that were there to greet us was a wonderful welcome. The house was very comfortable, cozy, and immaculate. We used the kayaks, had fires, rode our bikes to the awesome lakefront trails, and visited both Manitowoc and Two Rivers. We will definitely book Waterfront Haven again!

Dishwasher

The only reason I didn’t rate this a 5 star was the lack of a dishwasher coupled with a limited supply of dishes. Also the water pressure at the sink and long time frame to get hot water at the kitchen sink added to the inconvenience. I would stay here again but I would bring stuff to negate the inconvenience. We did end up doing that after the first couple of days.

A Tranquil Getaway

We have rented many other waterfront properties in the Midwest and this is by far the best vacation home we have stayed in. The spacious house itself has high end features and easily accommodated our multi-generational family. The provision of watercraft (canoe, kayaks, and paddle board) and bikes was a bonus. We also enjoyed the setting on the River and being able to watch the birds and deer. Mark and Julie are very gracious hosts anticipating all of our needs. The very best!

We recently stayed at this gem on the river. The location and house are both spectacular. The only thing better than this sparkling clean water front property are the hosts. They go above and beyond to make your stay relaxing and fun filled. Their communication is top notch. They are so nice and thoughtful and my daughter absolutely fell in love with their sweet dog when they stopped by at our request. I can't imagine finding a better place to stay for fun, relaxation and for all around good family making memories. We all had a blast and our family age ranged from 7 to 74. Do yourself a favor and stay here. You will have a great time and your family will thank you! We will be back! A+ all the way!
