Wildcat Mountain Retreat allows you to enjoy all that Breckenridge has to offer from winter to the summer. 1 king bedroom, 2 queen bedrooms, and 2 bunk beds + trundles in the bunkroom. Private Hot Tub, patio dinner, outdoor seating area, close to shopping, restaurants, skiing/snowboarding, snow tubing, dog sledding, snowmobiling, & snow shoeing. Walk outside to build a snowman & make snow angels. Summers in Breck are spectacular with so many activities & festivals. World class mountain biking, hiking, fly fishing, white water rafting, 4x4, horseback riding, & much more. Town is close to this relaxing, spacious and beautiful vacation home. The Wildcat Retreat has two sets of bunkbeds both will trundles in the downstairs bunk room. Master bedroom upstairs has king bed, guest room has queen bed, the secondary master bedroom (main floor) has a queen bed.
The home is great for friends or families to have space. Sit on deck looking at the views of Baldy Mnt, while sipping on a hot coco or hot toddy. The 2 fireplaces are great to warm up. The master bedroom has a fireplace, soaking tub and walk in shower; each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom. You will experience the serenity of being in the mountains, but still close to everything. Private back patio has an outdoor dining feature, hot tub, grill, dining, and relaxing seating area. Sit outside and star gaze. Wonderful home to come back to after a day on the slopes or from a hike. Warm up by the fireplace or take a dip in the private hot tub. The kitchen is fully equipped with all you need to cook a great meal, grill outside, or make a cocktail. No matter where your adventures take you, this serene retreat is a great place to hang your hat at the end of the day.

Perfect Vacation!

The home was immaculate. Lots of perks such as ice maker, wine cooler, hot tub, big fridge, and well stocked with all the necessities. It was easy to contact the host. The house is very comfortable with a great location.

Excellent home for large groups!

We had a lovely time staying at this place. We came with a group of 11 which included 4 adults, 4 teens and 3 kids. This property was perfect for all of us. There is lots of space, a bunk room for the kids that they enjoyed, and the outdoor space with hot tub was a major hit. The open main floor was perfect for everyone hanging out and conversing. The property is well decorated, clean, and overall just great! We would definitely stay here again. The proximity to town and lake Dillon was exactly what we were after. Charisse the host was easy to get a hold of and very responsive. 5 stars all around!

Beautiful Home

This house is Beautiful! It has 4 big bedrooms with a bathroom in each room. Our party was of 8 adults and one child and it was spacious enough for all of us. The kitchen has everything you need. The house was super clean and decorated Beautifully! The house is 5 minutes from downtown Breckenridge. Make sure the car you rent has four wheel drive. Thank God We follow the instructions the owner gave us because if you don't, you might have problems getting up the mountain. Thank you Charisse for letting us stay in your beautiful home!!

Wonderful place

A few small things my family members notices - some burnt out bulbs in the main flow bedroom & bathroom, and the house temp was only at 63 degrees when we arrived. Because of the ambient heating warming it only 1 degree an hour, it was at least 5 hours before we felt comfortable. that was unfortunate. Perhaps house temperature could be set at 65 or 66 for the day of arrivals. Hot tub was wonderful! Kitchen was super-well stocked and home was very comfy for us all! thanks you,

Home in poor condition

The home was in poor condition. The house was not clean, one toilet didn’t flush, sliding door screens were torn, three smoke detectors were disconnected and two doors didn’t latch. I expected much more than we received.

Amazing Rental

The house is beautiful inside and out. I really have zero complaints about it. It was also hands down the cleanest VRBO I've ever stayed at too. I felt very much at home and comfortable. The beds themselves were fantastic, which matters to me with back problems. There were hiking trails within walking distance and some fantastic ones just a little further up the mountain. If I'm nit picking, the only drawback was the distance into town. Granted, it was only about 10 minutes from driveway to destination. On the flip side, with being up the mountain, you also get beautiful and a lot of privacy. The owner also responded to any communication probably within 30 minutes, which is phenomenal. She checked in when we got there just to make sure everything was ok, which was a really nice touch. I honestly cannot recommend this place more. You're gonna LOVE it!

Great house and location

The house was perfect and as described. The only thing that may catch some off guard is that it is connected to another property like a duplex. This wasn’t a big deal as we had plenty of privacy. The hot tub is great and secluded from the property next door. Would highly recommend and stay here again with a large group.

Would not recommend! Horrible owner!

Where do I start… the listing is inaccurate. The picture of the home is deceiving as it is two separate properties that are connected. The description of the bunk room lists a king bed which it does not have. Carpets were not vacuumed and dirty. Cable didn’t work our first two nights (bummer when trying to watch Winter Olympics). The owner seems very accommodating at first but if you have issues, good luck! Our 7 night stay was cut short because the owner & property manager failed to simply check the propane level of the home. 3 days into our stay, the home was out of propane. That means no heat (or stove) in freezing temperatures throughout the home. We were asked to vacate the property the following day (after a night with no heat) because the owner couldn’t get the propane refilled and we would be without heat for the remainder of the stay. Dispute still ongoing to retrieve our payments for the unused nights (including taxes and fees that cover nights we weren’t even there). Would highly recommend other options if you are in Breck.

Thank you for looking at our home away from home. We absolutely LOVE Colorado and hope to live in the mountains someday soon! My name is Charisse, we currently live in Houston, Tx and have been traveling to Colorado for many years. It has been a dream to own a place in Breckenridge and experience the serenity and 4 seasons in the mountains. We love to hike, bike, SUP, snowmobile, ski, snowboard (my son), and most of all we love the peacfulness, relazation, and beauty we experience in the Colorado Mountains. The home is on Peak 7, perfect to walk out the door to hike or bike and in the winter make a snowman. One of our favorite things to do is sit on the patio with the endless views. Not having any neighbors above or below us provides a quiet living experience. The gondola is approx. 2 miles form the house, you can park at the gondola parking lot to head up to the mountain or you can park in the Airport free parking and take the free shuttle to the ski mountain.
During the summers, there is nothing better than being outside and exploring. Make sure you sit outside on the back patio enjoying the great weather and star gazing (stars at night are ridiculous)... The home is very comfortable and provides space for a group of friends. You can easily work from the house remotely.

Why they chose this property

The neighborhood is quite and peaceful but still close to all the restaurant, shopping and mountain activities. Love having space around us and not being in a condo with so many around. It is the best of both.

What makes this property unique

The home is situated on Peak 7, with gorgeous mountain views. You can walk out the door and begin your adventure. Frequently we see wildlife in our backyard, of course we only look at them and do not get near or approach any of the wildlife. Our home has plenty of room to have your own space, cook, play games, enjoy all that the mountains have to offer. There is a connected wall between the two units; however the home lives and feels like a private single family home. It's a quiet place to stay but so close to all the action.
