This quintessential 30A single family home in Prominence has all of the perks everyone will fall in love with. Come enjoy our large resort pool or hang out at The Big Chill (formerly the Hub), which is a 30 second walk from the front door or a 10 second golf cart ride! Prominence is located next to Watersound and Deer Lake State Park, which are easily accessible via the golf cart, for a day at the beach!

Starter Pack: We provide our guests with Gilchrist & Soames hand and body soaps, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, toilet paper, trash can liners, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher pods, dish sponge, coffee packs and laundry detergent pods. Guests are responsible for supplying their own amenities once our initial pack is depleted.

Golf Cart Policy: Please note that a $500 refundable security deposit, copy of drivers licenses, and proof of insurance must be received per cart prior to your arrival.

Cancellation Policy: Bookings canceled at least 60 days before the start of stay will receive 100% refund. Bookings canceled at least 30 days before the start of stay will receive a 50% a refund. For your protection, we encourage you to procure Traveler’s Insurance. Guests are required to electronically sign the rental agreement within TWO days of booking, otherwise the reservation is subject to cancellation.

Great location Beach Home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Prominence 16 beach home was in a great location just down from the Big Chill. Home was clean and ready to go. Comes with six seat golf cart but no bikes. Basic furnishings. No beach towels. Internet was somewhat slow and TV reception was not real strong.

Disappointing & Dirty

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unfortunately, upon arrival, we were surprised the unit was not well cleaned after waiting all afternoon to check in. Pots & utensils were put away dirty. Limited cooking supplies. Bed linens had stains as well as carpet. We could not use grill because it was covered in food debris. Golf cart was left covered with sand and not maintained. Overall the house is in need of renovations and repairs.

The kitchen could be better equipped for cooking, but overall had most of what we needed. The only downside was the beach access. Several public access’s, but parking was an issue. Very long walks with beach gear. Would MUCH prefer a private access for the neighborhood. The pools were amazing and the area very private and quiet. We had a great time!

Beautiful vacation home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is beautiful! It was perfect for our 2 families of 4. House is very well maintained. Plenty of sand toys, beach chairs, even a beach umbrella in the garage for use. The one thing we wished was included would have been bikes. The kids wanted to ride bikes some nights but we didn’t want to pay to rent because we didn’t know how much we would use them. Also, more towels for the bathrooms. Having the golf cart was a huge bonus. We had to reach out to maintenance for garage door issue and they were quick to respond and have someone out to the house to fix.

Wonderful stay on 30a

This property was absolutely perfect for my family. We had four adults and three children ages 4-8. There was plenty of space and it was spotless upon arrival. We really loved the back patio with the dining table and chairs. The kitchen was very well equipped as we cooked multiple meals there and there’s ample seating so our family staying in another house in prominence was even able to sit down and eat with us. The golf cart was awesome as we used it every day to drive to the beach access. We also loved the convenience of the location within prominence; we were able to walk to the hub which is a HUGE plus with kids in tow. We have now stayed in five properties in this neighborhood. This house is by far our favorite- we will be back!!

The house was nice, however, the golf cart was not on location as advertised. No one communicated with me from management that it would not be there. When I called, they said it was out because it “had shown signs of distress” and was taken in for repair. I told them we needed a golf cart because we had someone in our group who had just had knee surgery and we were expecting it to get around in. They could not tell me when we would get it back and would not give me a replacement. My husband called around and found a golf cart company with a similar 6 seater golf cart for the week. We rented it, expecting the rental company would give us a full credit back. They did not. They offered a credit for much less. When I called, the management company said the golf cart is just a perk and not really part of the rental cost of the house. Funny, the golf cart is the first picture that pops up on VRBO advertising this particular house. The neighborhood this home is in does not have beach access. The closest access is about half a mile away. So the golf cart is part of why I rented this home. I would not go back due to lack of management communication, lack adequate credit for golf cart and poor access to beach. Also, the kitchen is stocked, but not very well if you intend to cook for a group. You are also not given very many towels. The home was clean and nicely decorated. Those are my only positives.

We did contact maintenance on the day of our arrival as the internet was not working. We never heard from anyone but did figure out where the router was located and resolved the issue.
