My happy place is your perfect get away. It is unique and fresh with a beautiful granite kitchen and a glass bar with color changing lights. You'll find more LED lights in the 2nd bedroom which has a built in bunk bed with a trundle, sleeping 4. The master bedroom offers built- in USB charging outlet and a flat screen TV. And that's just the inside. The view is even more breathtaking! Enjoy your morning and evening beverages on the huge deck overlooking the ocean. In fact, you have 3 decks to choose from in this 2nd floor unit if you need a breath of fresh air. You'll fall in love with the open layout the moment you walk in and you won't be disappointed with the accommodations. All beds are custom built to maximize storage and space for up to 8 guests.
The master bedroom has a queen sized bed and the second bedroom has twin over full bunk beds with a twin trundle.
For additional guests, there is also a queen sleeper sofa in the living room.
Both bathrooms have remodeled custom tiled showers, vessel sinks and granite countertops. The master bath sweetens the deal with a spa like feel. The jetted body sprays are a rejuvenating treat after a day in the sand and sun. Pure relaxation!
The kitchen boasts gorgeous granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, including a built in microwave. All dishes and everything you need for preparing meals at home are available for your use. The kitchen is chef ready.
And the icing on the cake is the STUNNING, custom designed GLASS Martini Bar with multicolor lighting.
For entertainment, enjoy 3 decks! On the oceanfront, enjoy a cool beverage on the large covered deck in one of the custom built adirondack chairs. There are also adirondack chairs on the deck off the second bedroom on the street side of the unit. Inside, enjoy 3 flatscreen TV's. You'll have lots of viewing choices on 2 TVs with cable boxes, and on the other with Roku. All TVs are Smart TVs (Netflix, Hulu, Youtube, etc) adding even more movie and show selections. And of course, FAST Wifi is provided. By the way, there is a beautiful beach and a pool too! :) You'll have everything you need to create a wonderful, fun and/or relaxing vacation.

perfect march getaway

We so enjoyed our stay at Carolina Beach. Everything was clean. the kitchen has all the things you need to cook and eat in. Our host was very responsive to our questions. The view and balcony are excellent and the beach is right in front and a lovely wide beach. We were close to restaurants. i highly recommend this beautiful spot!

Pre-UNCW visit

New Year Getaway

Cozy comfortable beach front condo with everything you need! Clearliness, décor views and atmosphere exactly as described! Lovely area with super friendly people! The owner is Great at communicatand so easy to work with! She clearly cares about her guest having an amazing stay! ! We wiil be back!

Our Happy Place

We have stayed here multiple times and it is truly our happy place. It has a perfect view, with great attention to detail. So close to the beach, just two flights of stairs. There are so many special touches that make you feel pampered. It is even better than the photos. The owner is a great communicator as well. One note, if you use their linens, they need to be washed, dried and returned to their bin by the 10 am checkout. This can be tough if you have sleepy teens. If this is an issue, bring your own sheets. Overall a fabulous stay, as usual. We will always be back!.

Saved our vacation!

We originally had a vacation planned for this week in obx but hurricane Ian had other plans. Flooded our original house the day before we were to leave. So faced with the option of canceling a long planned family vacation i reached out to three different Carolina beach properties and Darlene got back to me right away, checking to make sure all was well in the area before we booked. Totally saved our week! Turned my granddaughters frowns upside down! The condo has some very nice touches, views are wonderful and communication was excellent!

Awesome spot!

We really enjoyed our stay at this super cozy condo. Darlene was super responsive and took the utmost care to make sure we were comfortable. We stayed with our 3 kids (10,10, and 12) and had plenty of space. The beach access is perfect and the private pool did not disappoint. We would definitely stay again and hope to do so soon! Thanks again Darlene for a wonderful week.

Carolina Beach Fun

The location to the property was great with easy access to the beach and the pool. Because we were coming from out of state, we used the property's towels and sheets. Unfortunately, the dryer unit did not heat, but FYI, there is a 24 hr laundromat down the road. Darlene was a responsive host.

Very Comfortable and great views

The condo was nicely decorated and was very comfortable to hang out in. The views of the beach were Great! Had a wonderful relaxing time! Darlene (owner/host) was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. My only issue was i was too short for the bed (4'11") lol, so I had to buy a stool. Well worth it i thought the bed was very comfortable.

Very nice view overlooking the beach and ocean. Unfortunately the "Sleep Number" bed was defective, the mattress horribly uncomfortable and the bunk bed not much better. The owner should check MBR ceiling light and fan wall switch; it had a short which made the fixture unusable.

Summer in December

What a great place to stay during a beautiful 70 degree week at the end of December 2021. This is a comfortable, well stocked unit with plenty of room for a small family. (It was just the two of us with our six year old granddaughter for a few of the nights) The kitchen has everything you could want, the beds are comfortable, the view is spectacular and there are plenty of sand toys for the beach. The unit is also nicely decorated. I would recommend bring your own sheets if possible as the owner does request that you wash and dry everything before leaving. The owner is very easy to reach - we had a couple of minor issues which were quickly resolved via text. I highly recommend this property.

I'm a mom, teacher, beach lover and most importantly, a Christian! I teach first grade. Call me crazy, but I love it! I have a teen and a young adult child who are the loves of my life. I enjoy spending warm days on the shores of any beach, but especially my happy place in Carolina Beach!

Why they chose this property

Carolina Beach has been my second home since 2000. "A Lil Slice of Heaven" is the first home that's my very own and I absolutely love it! God blessed me with this beautiful getaway and I am so grateful it's mine! It was completely remodeled in 2017. During that makeover, I lost sight of the plan to rent the place out. I just wanted it to be beautiful. The remodel turned out to be pretty awesome and I have no regrets for doing "too much". My guests can feel the love that was been poured into making this my "Happy Place" and have cared for it like it is their own. I enjoy reading the guest book and getting feedback from my guest. It is such a joy to hear that others enjoyed their time here as much as I do. I have no doubt that you'll love it here too. It's a little slice of Heaven!
