If you’re looking for the perfect spot and house, look no further. Plenty of space, very nice on the inside, great view and location! Absolutely perfect for 8 of us to stay for the weekend.
The house was clean and had everything our family of 7 needed. The private beach space was beautiful and had beach chairs, firefit for bonfires, and kayaks to use.
The views were breathtaking and having your own private beach was a plus. We had a few questions and the owner was quick to respond. The location was the perfect distance out of town. The road to get across to the beach was very busy, but we never had a problem getting across. It was a very nice stay.
This house was perfect for our annual family girls trip. Great location to Downtown Traverse City and all the winery's up the Leelanau Peninsula. The views were amazing! everything was just as pictured! The owners have definitely put a lot of work into this house. They were very accommodating and quick to respond to any questions we had.
A wedding to attend at Starry Night Barn and other activities in Traverse City. The home was an excellent choice. Spacious, enough bathrooms (Important when getting ready for a wedding! ) and the view!! Wow - also enjoyed the private beach, campfires, and some great family chats on the front porch. Jim was great to work with and very responsive.

Weekend stay
I thought the home could have been cleaner. The windows had cob webs and leaves in the corners. There weren’t enough sheets for all of the pull out couches so we had to buy sheets. The location was great
This house was perfect. Had everything we needed. The private beach was right across the main road and easy to access. Plenty of room, beautiful house, everything recently updated. Property owner was great, communication was prompt and he was very attentive to our needs. 100% would stay here again! Quick drive to the downtown area, about 10 min from everything. Lots of other beaches in the area. Had no issues at all, we were very pleased.
Pros: close to downtown Traverse City, lake views, personal beach, great host who responded to our needs. Didn’t make us do anything to check out like a lot of host on this platform and others.
Cons: only one pan to cook and it was in rough shape, the tv with Roku didn’t work( host probably would have came to fix it but wasn’t a big issue for us, we needed up using our own). It is on a busy street.
This was the perfect location for all of our events for our son’s wedding. The house is larger on the inside than it looks on the outside. It was well equipped with everything you need and the beach was perfect… just be careful crossing M-22. The outside deck was very nice. I wish we had been able to spend more time at the house we were out enjoying all of our wedding festivities. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Adequate
If you're looking for a rental property that sleeps a bunch with a reasonable kitchen, dinning room, family room and living room, this place will work just fine. Don't expect the Ritz. There is only one purpose the owner has for this place, and that is rental income. The kitchen is well provisioned and previous renters had left a few things in the spice drawer.
You can tell this is a rental property from the way the place is maintained. There are cobwebs all over, the gutters are full of debris and there is a tree growing out of the chimney. The property is surrounded by what appears to be a defunct nursery. One morning, we saw out our back window a woman dropping her drawers and taking a dump back there.
Biggest con for this place is the highway in front of the house. Although it's only 2 lane, it changes speeds from 45 to 55mph just past the property. Makes sitting on the deck or opening the windows not enjoyable.
The beach is beautiful, and the use of the kayaks was nice. We did have a great time, though the check in process was a bit sketchy. Got an email from VRBO 3 days before saying if I didn't have check-in instructions to reach out to the host. I did that, and he responded instructions would come out the night before. Received nothing. Sent a message on the morning of check-in and heard nothing. Called at 2 hours before check-in and reached the host. He then sent the instructions, saying it was some IT issue with VRBO.
The house was great for our weekend stay. I wish we had more time to use the beach, deck and other features. The house is on a busy road but great access to both peninsulas in Traverse City.
This is a great house! It’s bigger than it looks in the listing. Included plenty of beach and bath towels for three full and one half bath. The kitchen was well stocked with new dishes, cutlery, pots, pans, coffee makers (Keurig and brewed), blender and high end appliances. The outdoor deck was very nice with a beautiful view. The private beach is nice, but you have to be very careful crossing the busy road. We were in town for a wedding and the wedding party stayed at Anchor Inn which is right next door and was the perfect arrangement for a group of around 40 people. Located just a few minutes from all the activities and restaurants in Traverse City.
The House was clean and stocked with the basics like towels, toaster, coffee pot, pans, plates, etc. The private beach was enjoyed by all in our family. Swimming, s'mores, and sand castles.
The location was ideal. Close to Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park, Traverse City, Wine Country, and close enough for a day trip to Mackinaw Island. Great Place. Would go back again.
This was a great place today. All updated and very clean. It was a great location and the view from the house was incredible!!! Loved it overall and everyone felt at home and comfortable.
