Great high end and casual restaurants, a gourmet market, beachfront bar & grill, tennis and bocce courts as well as many local businesses and amenities are all within walking distance.

Pelican Pad is a beach themed 4 bedroom, 3 full bath private home with a private solar heated pool and is located on a quiet corner lot with a private backyard. Includes a grill, covered lanai, patio furniture, lounge chairs and all the amenities of home. Pelican Pad can accommodate up to 8 people with 2 king bedroom suites, 1 queen bedroom and a 2 twin bedroom that share a full bath. Pelican Pad boasts a fully equipped kitchen, keyless entry, full laundry facilities, free wi-fi with streaming capabilities, beach towels, beach chairs and a beach wagon. Large great room and a circular drive with parking for several cars.

Melbourne Beach is a barrier island that is close to Cape Canaveral, Cocoa Beach and Vero Beach. Just 75 miles to Orland attractions and the Orlando airport and 7 miles to Melbourne International airport. Supermarkets, big box stores, medical/hospital facilities, and restaurants galore are all within a few miles. Check out the flair of Old Melbourne with it's unique shops and local establishments. See a rocket launch from our beach or make a short drive to Cape Canaveral for an up close experience.

House is clean,pool was amazing with floaters available, yard was well kept with beautiful foliage which also brought out the pollen and Florida allergies…lol, very good location to shops, beach and attractions (just a quick walk to the beach to watch rocket launches). Definitely a place you want to stay. Owner was very responsive to any questions we had. He sure is a great guy!

Amazing like always

This is our fourth time staying here and it’s always an amazing experience. Greg is a very attentive host and makes sure your time at his house is a great time. The house is always clean and the pool and back yard is your own private oasis. The house is also in a great location being one block from the beach and a few blocks to restaurants and a market. We will continue to go back every year and would recommend this house to everyone.

Great Property in Excellent Location

Thank you Greg for allowing us to stay at your beautiful property. Excellent location one block from the beach. With four bedrooms and three baths we had comfortable accommodation for everyone. The patio and pool are beautiful and the kitchen is stocked with just about everything.

The property was well cared for, and the house was in an excellent location In the Melbourne Beach Area! The host provided wonderful conveniences, like plenty of paper towels, toilet paper, soaps, etc. and the kitchen was well stocked. The only improvement could be the mattress in the second master bedroom. we had a problem with the bathtub, not draining, which the host immediately took care of for us!

Another lovely stay in this house. It has everything you need and it's close to the beach, main street and the park. We all enjoyed our time in the pool, the 4th of July fireworks and our time together.

Beach oasis

We had a wonderful time! The house was super convenient to the beach and other amenities. We also enjoyed the pool and making several family meals. We would choose this place again. The only thing that need me attention is the deadbolt keypad needs a new battery since it kept sticking. After several tries we still got in so all was well.

Relaxing Beach Home

Pelican Pad is a beautiful home just one block off the beach. The pool and outdoor space is stunning with beautiful landscaping. It has all the amenities needed and a generous supply of beach and pool toys. The area has a more local feel and it was an easy walk to the market, a Cuban cafe, the surf shop and pizza. Our family loved it and will definitely be back!

Melbourne vacation

Spent a week at pelican pad and it was wonderful! Very nice house, clean, 5 min walk to the beach, coffee and local grocery . Great amount of space and bathrooms. Tons of outside dining/hang out space and the pool was perfect! Highly recommend if you are looking for a fun family getaway!

An Outstanding Repeated Stay

Glorious weeks one week with our family, a week with my wife's siblings, a week with my Wife's friends, a week with our joint friends. This was a repeat adventure with the Pelican Pad and all our visitors were thrilled with the place. Everything was amazing. The home was equipped with everything you could need. The beds were comfortable and the house was clean and nicely decorated. The yard is a private sanctuary! The pool was wonderful! Being in walking distance of the beach, a beach bar and restaurant, local market, pizza place, pharmacy and ice cream shop was a definite plus! The owner, Greg, is a warm person and fantastic host. It is very apparent he wants your experience to be top notch, from how the home is cared for and his responsiveness to questions! Definitely will return for a third, fourth,... time. I kind of hate letting the world know how great this place is because they will then be my competitors, but Greg deserved for everyone to know that all of his places and rentors get the same great TLC.

Pelican Pad was a great stay!

We came to Melbourne to play in a softball tournament at the USSSA Space Coast and found this house for our family and one other. There were 8 of us (4 adults & 4 kids). The photos were accurate of the descriptions and the house was very comfortable for all of us. Greg, the owner, was always very responsive and helpful leading up to and during our trip, helping me understand how far away we would be from the ballpark and any other questions I had. We were very surprised to see just how many “extras” were provided. Greg has really thought about the whole family experience! There were plenty of beach chairs & wagon for the beach and plenty of pool toys/amenities as well. Having a pool in the backyard was a welcome reprieve after a hot day at the ballpark and we were only a block away from the beach. All in all, we loved our stay at the house and didn’t feel like we had to go find “sights” to see because we wanted to enjoy the Pelican Pad! We will definitely look to rebook should softball bring us back to the Space Coast.

Great Time again!

It was our second stay at Pelican Pad. We had a great time in Melbourne Beach. The house and location was still perfect and the pool was again the highlight for the kids. Greg was again an excellent host. We will be happy to come back again.

We loved everything about this property!
