Very relaxing spot on Island Lake, southeast shore. Close to Clancy's Restaurant and Foxy's Bar and restaurant, makes this spot an ideal area to get away and yet still have the ability to have a choice of dining/drinking very close by. Truly makes an ideal spot for Families and/or group getaways. Comfortably sleeps 6-7 people .

This condo is unit #3 in the fourplex. Recently updated, this 720sq/ft condo/cabin is a 2 bed 1 bath unit that has a deck facing the lake, indoor wood burning fire place, full kitchen equipped with all the utensils for cooking and dining, new dishwasher, updated flooring, updated bathroom and a washer and dryer added for your convenience ! Outdoors offers a sand beach, a dock for your boat, a lake that has great fishing and close to an outlet which allows you access via boat to other lakes. So much fun !!

Great stay!

I have rented a number of VRBOs and this is a great value, in addition to being a great stay. The property was clean and comfortable with two bedrooms, kitchen dining and living areas. Comparing it to some other nearby lake front rentals, this one is clearly the winner. We had access to the boat dock and fire ring. I am sure we will rent the property again.

In the time we now live in this is about as good as it gets for reasonably affordable and clean. Great place to stay.

Great little cabin!

The cabin is small (cozy!) and part of a group of 3 other cabins that are attached in the same building, you will meet your neighbors. That said, the location is wonderful for Itasca, the lake was a lot of fun with the provided kayaks, the place is well kept and clean. If you don't mind neighbors this is a great place to rent.

We always love our time at this cute, clean, and fully stocked condo located close to amusement park (for kids) and next door to a great resort restaurant/bar.

There are a few things!

I don't want to seem overly critical, but I do think that I need to share a few things.... The pictures didn't give the best expectation of the unit. The unit was over crowded with furniture. I think it was advertised to be able to hold 7 people. I felt crowded with 2. My suggestion is to take out some of the furniture and make it look more roomy and easier to keep clean too. The pictures don't give you the idea that you are on a hill and have to go down steps to the boat ramp. It's fairly steep and for older people, not ideal. It had everything that we needed in the unit, but could have been cleaner and less cluttered.

Best vacation in a long time

This property is unique because there are several restaurants to choose from nearby as well as several lakes to choose from. Fishing was great and cabin was clean, well kept, and beat all our expectations . Beds and furniture very comfortable.

Get away

This was a great size for six to gather around the fireplace after a great day of snowmobiling. Able to walk for a meal, a game of pool or drinks. The perfect getaway!

Nice, homey place

We were only at the cabin to sleep as we spent Christmas at our families house but it was nice coming back to a very clean, warm, and cozy place! Communication with the owner was clear and efficient. We’d stay here again if the need ever comes up again!

An amazing weekend for being outdoors

Me and my friends enjoyed a wonderful stay at this quaint little cabin in Park Rapids. It was the perfect location to go hiking and also visit downtown! Halloween brought sweet events and good memories!

Perfect weekend!

My family is hard to get out of the house, especially to new places, but we all loved this place! The condo had everything we needed for the weekend and the whole process was so easy. We are hoping to stay here again in the future!

Nice Location

The condo was super clean and cute. The location was nice because of the two restaurants nearby and just a short drive to Park Rapids. The owner was very responsive and polite. I did have a few issues with the property though 1) it was super hot out and wasn't cooling off much at night. It would get to 70 but since the condo only has windows on two sides, air flow was tough. They had many fans to use, which was nice but even with it getting to 70 outside, it still stayed 80 in the condo at night. And during the day it was horrible, we'd even keep everything open until 10am, shut it all down (windows and curtains) and it would still stay around 85 in the place. And a couple times I had to run the oven for meals and it was impossible to get that heat out. The window unit is in one bedroom and it was old and small, didn't do much for even the one bedroom. So I feel I was mislead a bit with it listed with air conditioning and it was that hot. 2) yellow jackets were living in their siding right by the deck, we got stung a few times and I finally made a trap that started catching them. All stores were out of spray. 3) The owner did say that the place had soap, laundry soap, shampoo/cond, toilet paper, garbage bags, etc. All these were there but the amount was so small that we ran out right away, it was not stocked. It would have been fine if one or two things ran out, but everything ran out. Don’t tell your renters these items are there if they are so limited. Lastly, there are a lot of stairs to the dock. Not a huge deal for most, but something to note if you have elderly or someone that can't walk well. The pictures make it look like the property is right by the dock/beach. And I don't know if the reeds washed up on the beach was normal or if that is just because the water is so low this year. The beach wasn't great and the weeds in that area made it not a great for swimming.

Great location

This was a great spot for access to Itasca and activities in Park Rapids. Clancy’s restaurant next for was super convenient and great food. The condo had everything we needed and was very clean. We want to come back in the winter just to use the cool fireplace.

Perfect for a family get away

My whole family, including my brother-in-law and his family and my mother and father-in-law wanted to vacation together. We rented two units side-by-side, and had a room at Vacationaires. This unit was perfect for my family. In fact, we rented it last year too and were thrilled to be able to come back. The kitchen is well stocked, the furnishings are comfortable and the location cannot be beat. Communication with the manager was easy and timely. We would definitely visit again and gladly recommend to friends.

The area is full of year round outdoor activities for your family; and Park Rapids and surrounding area is full of wonderful people. As our families have grown, we are blessed to have visited this area many times and now are pleased to share with others our lake home.
