Beautiful Secluded Property with Cozy Cabin

My husband and I, along with our Aussies spent 3 days at this cabin surrounded by 300 acres, with hiking trails, ponds, and wild life, during late Oct. The views of the property were beautiful with all the Fall colors. If you have the energy, be sure to hike up the hill to the cow pasture. It is about 1 mile round trip. The views at the top are spectacular! The cabin was clean, with one nice size bedroom that had a queen bed. Another smaller room had bunk beds and also a washer dryer combo unit. No door on smaller room, just fyi. Everything we needed was provided and we were very comfortable there. Also there was alot of taxidermy animals displayed. (Personally not a fan, so tried to ignore them) . We brought our own food but there are some nearby simple restaurants that I would of tried. All and all, a great getaway for nature lovers at a great value! Highly recommended!

Best fall color trip.

Larry was easy to talk with. Brought us to the cabin, answered my question. Then let us alone to e joy the property. The cabin has an amazing view from just about every window. And the deck was our favorite place. We sat there and just soaked up all the beauty.

Such a relaxing time

You couldn’t ask for a better place to stay at!!! It was peaceful and the owner of the place was welcoming and inviting. We will be back for a longer stay. If you are looking to get away from everyday life and just relax this is the place!!!!!

Heavenly getaway

Being secluded with nature, and the beautiful property setting. There's plenty to do without leaving the property. Fishing, hiking, nature watching and just relaxing. No traffic sounds, no light pollution so night is dark. Just loved it

Perfect Retreat

If you’re looking for a quiet getaway Workman’s Wildlife Haven is your place. The grounds are breathtaking and the cabin is so comfortable and cozy. We loved being able to hike without leaving the property and sitting on the big front porch watching the deer meandering in the field.

Awesome!

What a great place to stay. We traveled here to fish at Yatesville Lake. The cabin sits on a hillside overlooking a large field and wildlife feeder. The cabin didn’t disappoint as it has everything you could need for a getaway. Check in and out was simple and Larry is a great host. Best place we have ever stayed in on our fishing adventures.
