Such a relaxing time
You couldn’t ask for a better place to stay at!!! It was peaceful and the owner of the place was welcoming and inviting. We will be back for a longer stay. If you are looking to get away from everyday life and just relax this is the place!!!!!

Heavenly getaway
Being secluded with nature, and the beautiful property setting. There's plenty to do without leaving the property. Fishing, hiking, nature watching and just relaxing. No traffic sounds, no light pollution so night is dark. Just loved it

Perfect Retreat
If you’re looking for a quiet getaway Workman’s Wildlife Haven is your place. The grounds are breathtaking and the cabin is so comfortable and cozy. We loved being able to hike without leaving the property and sitting on the big front porch watching the deer meandering in the field.

Awesome!
What a great place to stay. We traveled here to fish at Yatesville Lake. The cabin sits on a hillside overlooking a large field and wildlife feeder. The cabin didn’t disappoint as it has everything you could need for a getaway. Check in and out was simple and Larry is a great host. Best place we have ever stayed in on our fishing adventures.

Exceeded expectations! Lovely outdoor spaces—tiny lake, outdoor swing, and hilltop porch view. All the amenities and warmth of a cozy, rustic, practical cabin. Didn’t want to leave.

A Great Wildlife Haven
The property is beautiful, peaceful and quiet. Cabin has all the comforts a person needs. There are numerous books to read relating to history and true stories about people that have grown up in the Appalachian regions. A true wealth of knowledge that may be lost in the future. The wildlife viewing is amazing. Paths for walking leads a person to history in the cemetery. The owner is a fantastic person, easy to talk to and very accessible. We have stayed here prior 2 yrs ago and will definitely be back. A true gem!!!

Larry was so welcoming and the cabin worked out perfectly for us. My girls loved the opportunity to sleep on bunk beds and we tried our hand at fishing! We look forward to our next visit.

We enjoyed our stay at the home, very relaxing. Loved the front porch view, listening to all the sounds of nature and seeing the turkeys trotting around the feeders. Beautiful property
Had a wonderfully peaceful time. The property is absolutely gorgeous! The hunting cabin is quaint,clean and cozy. The only issue I had was that the bed needs to be replaced. I slept in a large divet. Larry, who owns the property was a delight and would definitely love to come back.
