Perfect Winter Get-A-Way
Spent Valentines weekend at the cabin. Perfect weekend retreat. Cabin was a fantastic place to stay. The scenery was beautiful. Close enough to town to enjoy the sites but far enough away to feel the secluded northern vibe. Plan to be back!

February stay
First of all I am a licensed builder and very familiar with fireplaces and I would not recommend using the fireplace. Make it a gas fireplace and be done with it. Smokes very bad even with warming the chimney first!!!! Had to open all of the windows to get rid of the smoke.. Not a good start to our stay!! The bathroom is terrible!! Only one thin board separating the bathroom from the rest of the cabin. Sound will carry throughout the cabin and the shower is terrible!! We had to shovel a path through the snow to the front door. The drive way was only partially plowed. I had to hand shovel the rest. Other than that everything else was good. The stove is missing a knob and some of the lamp shades need to be replaced. Curtains are also frayed and need to be replaced. I would not stay here again!!!

Clean, cozy cabin!
We stayed several nights at the end of November and were very happy with this cabin. It was extremely clean and comfortable. It was in a convenient location with a nice view. After a day out hiking and sightseeing, it was so nice to come back to the warm cabin and enjoy a cozy evening with the snow.falling outside.

Beautiful Cottage
We absolutely loved our stay at this gorgeous cottage that is in a perfect location for exploring neighboring towns. Really enjoyed the wood burning fireplace which made the quiet nights even cozier. We're from Door County :) and needed a break from all of the Fall crowds, this trip to Michigan was just what we needed and M119 more than gave us beautiful colors to enjoy without the crowds!! Thank you for sharing this beautiful cottage with us. J & A

Quaint cost authentic cabin
Loved the location right on tunnel of trees. Unfortunately furniture was not comfortable for two 80 YOs. Getting in and out of claw footed tub we had to be very careful but survived. Was perfect for the two of us but more would be a tight fit. Temps went into the 30s but heat was warm and place was not drafty. Price high for what you get.

Excellent location for Tunnel of Trees and easy access to town. The cabin was very cute and cozy. We enjoyed both the fire pit in the yard and fireplace inside. The kitchen was fully stocked. We are looking forward to a return visit.

Wasn't clean when I arrived, but Bill and Sara came to the rescue!
The place hadn't been cleaned from the last VRBO guests. I want to emphasize that Bill called and got someone in right away. He also gave me a small discount for the inconvenience. I spent most of time outside or off site, since "dead" smell is in house. Location is great, communication also great. A one-time slip up on the cleaning, hopefully. I recommend this place.

2nd honeymoon 50 years later
I have been coming to this cabin since I was 9. It was wonderful to come back to a place with so many fond memories. Having central air and a furnace is a lovely upgrade. However being a little passed 9 years now😉I found the many rugs and the shower curtain a bit of challenge. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we hope to gift a stay in the cabin (that their great, great, great grandfather built) to our adult grandchildren at some point in the future

Great location, cute cozy cabin
This charming little log cabin has been lovingly restored and revamped to be a wonderful and cozy spot for a visit to Harbor Springs. It's located right on the Tunnel of Trees and across the street from the lake. Harbor Springs and Petoskey are just minutes away for dining out and supplies. The cabin was well stocked with supplies (thank you for having sugar!) and everything you need for a comfy stay. They even supply firewood. Previous guest has created a great I spy game to find all of the wonderful and unique art and decor throughout the cabin. It was fun. All around a great stay in a great location.

Our family spent summers up north, but now my four children are grown and scattered across the country from Virginia Beach to Seattle. It's your turn to enjoy this wonderful property!
