Haleakala Shores #A-408 is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit on the 4th floor, with window unit A/C in the living room and master bedroom, a fully-equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, 2 flat-screen TVs, telephone with long distance calling to the continental US and Canada, and free WIFI. The master bedroom features a king bed with memory foam mattress pad, window A/C, ceiling fan, a large flat-screen TV, alarm clock, and full bathroom. The guest bedroom is furnished with 2 twin beds with memory foam mattress pads that are convertible to a king bed upon request, ceiling fan, alarm clock, and full bathroom. In the living room is a queen sofa bed, window A/C, ceiling fan, and a large flat-screen SmartTV. For outdoor activities, Haleakala Shores #A-408 is supplied with beach chairs and beach towels. Sleeps 6.
Same day bookings and those arriving within 48 hours of making the reservation require a phone call to Rentals Maui for confirmation.

Haleakala Shores is a condominium complex located directly across from Kamaole Beach II and III. The Kamaole Beaches are world class beaches with lifeguards, restrooms, showers, and playground with picnic areas, and a protected sandy beach which is great for beach walks, whale watching in the winter, magnificent sunsets, swimming, snorkeling, and sunning. Haleakala Shores has a nice pool area, gas barbeque grills, and free parking.

Beautiful accommodation + great location
My friends and I were really pleased to check into the accommodation, as we found it was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. We really liked the location, as the beach was just across the road. It was a nice place to stay, as it was pretty quiet, however still close to restaurants and shops. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a low-key and relaxed holiday. Thanks for having us! :)

(Even cheese graters!)The patio has a view of the ocean which was a nice way to spend happy hour/dinners at night.The pool is clean and has plenty of sunshine and loungers.Location also is perfect. Right across from the beach. Short drive to Wailea and Starbucks We can’t wait to come back !

Perfect!
This condo was perfect for our family of 5 which included 3 teenagers. We loved the convenience of the beach across the street and being central on the island to so many places to explore. Restaurants and shops were within walking distance. We felt right at home with all the provided supplies for comfort inside the condo and with chairs, umbrellas, coolers, and more for adventures on the island. Communication was amazing and any need was met quickly. We would definitely stay here again!

Wouldn’t have changed a thing!
This has been, by far, the BEST rental property I’ve stayed at. Location was perfect — just a two minute walk to the beach. The actual property was perfect: great size rooms, comfortable beds, laundry unit in the location, AC and fans in both rooms, spacious seating area, balcony eating area, etc. Not only that, but they had anything you could think of that you would need for the beach. Beach towels, cart to take your supplies in, beach umbrella, volleyball and volleyball net, cooler — I just truly can’t say enough good things. This rental property made our vacation go as smoothly as possible. Mahalo!

Better than I could have imagined.
The rental was huge, clean, and beautiful. The photos don't do it justice. We had everything we needed to enjoy our stay-- chairs for the beach, a cooler for road trips, every dish and appliance we needed. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained, the pool was lovely. It was so great to have designated parking. We could walk to the beach in minutes, and the property is near lots of great shops and places for food. We really felt at home in this apartment and cannot wait to come back. ❤️

Location!
This was such a convenient location for our family, walking distance to the beach and restaurants. It housed us comfortably and we will most definitely be back. Only constructive feedback would be a suggestion to have softer light bulbs in some of the lamps (not fluorescent), but that was a very minor. All in all, we were very pleased.

Very Nice Stay

The kitchen is fully equipped and the bathrooms are clean and we especially appreciate it. The fluffy towels. The beds are comfortable and nicely furnished.The unit’s location is excellent. The pool is nice, not very big, but definitely enjoyable. The outside structure is dated and the elevator area needs cleaning and painting. We recommend this unit as it is a quaint reminder of how a family can afford a beautiful week in Maui without having to pay high resort fees. We would love to return someday.

We have been coming to Maui since our honeymoon 45 years ago. Many times at Haleakela Shores and it never disappoints. A408 is a beautiful unit that we would highly recommend. Few rental units have as nice an ocean view. Nicely and recently updated. Best parking spot in the development. Very quiet. Well stocked for the beach. Management company very responsive when we had a plumbing issue. Another vacation in paradise.

Reviewer Comments: Although the building is a little old, it has everything you need for your stay. (Tableware, beach amenities, etc.) Since the sea is right in front of us, we could go to the sea right away. We also saw many turtles on the beach in front of us. In the morning, we could see whales from a distance. We were able to walk to the shops in Kihei and a short drive to Wailea. The only thing that bothered me was that there were birds chirping on the roof in the evening and it was noisy. It's fine once you get used to it, but it was surprisingly noisy at first. However, I would stay there again. The key was electronic, and check-in and check-out were also mobile, which was very convenient. I'm Japanese, but I used a translator and had no problems. I was able to contact the management company (Rentals Maui) at any time and was able to stay with peace of mind.

The attention to detail. Included in the rental was a basket of beach towels, swim fins, a body board, two coolers, sand toys, a wagon, everything you would need for a day excursion to the beach, Haleakalā volcano, or the road to Hana. While those things don’t seem like a big deal, when you don’t have them, and you see the prices in Hawai’i, you’ll be greatful you have them. If I had one complaint it would be that the AC units couldn’t really keep up. But I think if I understood the roof vent fan better, I would have used that instead of the AC. Unit is in the 4th/top floor which means it gets a little warm.

We rented 3 condos across from perhaps the best beach on the island; at least one of the top three and what a great choice! We had a wonderful stay!
Very central location and unit came with many helpful beach items (beach towels, chairs etc), kitchen is fully stocked and AC was a big plus as well. Wish we could have stayed longer!
