Echo Lake Retreat is a quiet and cozy ranch style house that features three bedrooms and two full baths. The master bedroom contains a king size bed. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and crib, while the third bedroom has a queen bed. All bedrooms are outfitted with a dresser and plenty of closet space. The Combo game room/dining room , as well as the kitchen and living room have a beautiful view of Echo Lake. The living room features a 65" flat screen Smart TV, The Game room has a 46" Smart TV along with a HMDI port located on the wall under the TV for PlayStation plug in. Wi-Fi is available throughout the cabin. The house features a covered porch and a nice size back yard with a gas grill and fire ring. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, stove, refrigerator and microwave.
The kitchen has plenty of counter space and a pantry. There are USB outlets located throughout the house for easy charging of electronic devices. The basement (Gear cave) has a place to hang snowmobiling clothing, a helmet bin, boot drying outlet station and life jacket rack. The property has 2 kayaks, and one canoe for you to use as well as a variety of life jackets. This property is located a mile from downtown Mercer. Additionally it has a private trail from property to trail 17 allowing for easy access for snowmobiling, utving, and atving. The Echo lake public boat launch is located directly across the lake from the property and there is a pier on the property to dock1 boat or pontoon boat and Jet skies. Echo Lake is home to Musky, Pan fish, Large & Small Mouth Bass, Northern Pike, Crappie and Walleye for the avid fishermen. This cabin truly has everything for your perfect home away from home vacation.

Relaxing Get Away

Wendy and Marty know how to host! The usual things one anticipates for rentals were all there but it was the extras that really blew us away. Well stocked kitchen including a crock pot, a Milwaukee Tool radio for our use, and unlimited fire wood are just a few of those extras. It felt like home. Wendy was very responsive and thorough which I appreciated! We booked again for next year which is the highest review I can think of!

Echo Lake Getaway

This was our 2nd visit to this property. We had a great getaway - the house is awesome and has everything you need to enjoy your stay. The weather was beautiful and we were able to take advantage of the beautiful lake (using the kayaks), bike trails and we got some hiking in. It was exactly what we were looking for!

Echo Lake Retreat Will Exceed Your Expectations!

What an amazing vacation experience! The home was extremely clean and well-appointed. It had everything necessary for a relaxing week in the North Woods. We fully enjoyed watching the loons each morning with a cup of coffee and especially loved seeing a family of three otters swimming and fishing at the end of the dock. We spent our afternoons canoeing on Echo Lake and our evenings sitting around a campfire listening to the loon calls. Wendy, the owner of the property, was amazing and responded quickly to any questions that we had. I would 100% recommend booking Echo Lake Retreat. Do it, you won't regret it!

Fantastic location and accommodations!

The very spacious cabin was impeccably clean and fully stocked with everything needed. The beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the beautiful fall colors while fishing and UTV riding around the beautiful area. The convenience of the trail nearby was a plus. An evening cooking around the fire pit topped off a wonderful weekend with friends. Would definitely recommend!

Echo Lake Retreat Weekend

We had a wonderful time at Echo Lake retreat. The home is beautiful with everything you could possibly need and the views of the lake were amazing! I loved that this had 2 beautiful bathrooms - that's a big plus in our books. We had a very relaxing time and were able to enjoy the kayaks, bike trails and nearby hiking trails. Wonderful Week at Echo Lake Retreat

We stayed at Echo Lake Retreat for a week in early August. Wendy is great at communication and responded in a very timely manner to a few messages I sent with some questions. This house is beautiful - feels like a home vs. a rental property. It is very well stocked and the lake is very quiet. We enjoyed the use of the canoe and kayaks, and spent a lot of time relaxing in the outdoor spaces. The location close to town was very convenient. Thank you for such a wonderful week!

Great stay

This was a beautiful place overall. Kitchen was equipped with everything you could ever need.The fact that the grill ignitor did not work and the oven broiler would turn off after two minutes put a damper on some meals but overall it was a great place for a vacation!

Great northern Wisconsin getaway

Quaint and Perfect for Snowmobiles

We rented this property for three couples on a snowmobile trip. The house is very nice with lots of convenient amenities. The property is perfect for parking trailers and even includes a very convenient spur to the main trail. Owners were very pleasant and super easy to work with. Highly recommended for a great weekend getaway with sleds.

Wonderful town! The home is set up so nicely for family, & small children.

This home is truly your home away from home. The house has everything you will need. It is well maintain, & clean. Nice beds, with very nice bedding. The location is close to a great town, with great places to eat, & fun stores to shop. The amenities that come with the outdoors is above. 2 kayaks life jackets, lawn chairs for everyone. Firepit, firewood. Nice gas grill! Our family had a Wonderful time here. You will not go wrong with renting this home.

Very Relaxing Vacation

Our family enjoyed a wonderful stay at Echo Lake Retreat. The cabin has wonderful amenities. The appliances are top quality and we really appreciated the dishwasher. We enjoyed beautiful views of the lake from the many windows too. The cabin was equipped with everything we could need and more! The owners were great to work with and we would stay at Echo Lake Retreat without hesitation again. Highly Recommended!

Lovely property. Very nice home, nicely decorated and furnished much as a cabin on a lake would be. Lots of leather and wood furniture...i would guess it is all fairly new including TV. WiFi is quite adequate. Home is laid out nicely. Kitchen appliances look new and all cooking and eating utensils (seems to be everything one could want) are very well organized. Boat dock is nice with a "park bench". There is a free public boat ramp right across the lake from the cabin. The Weber gas grill (also looks new) is big and handy to use. Outdoor furniture is quite adequate for a number of people. Picnic table close to house and a nice place for a meal. Kayaks and canoe on site are relatively easy to launch from back yard.

Serenity personified...

Neat, clean, private, serene... So conveniently close to town but felt very much in the Northwoods. Owner allowed us to move in a few hours early once cleaners were done which helped us make an evening event with a lot less stress. Thank you for offering us such a great respite during a very busy weekend...

Beautiful Property quiet and relaxing

The property was beautiful. Everything you need is right there from bedding to kitchen utensils. Excellent Wi-Fi and dish tv. Very convenient to town and grocery and gas. Owners were easy to work with and very helpful. Definitely will stay again.
