This dreamy cabin in the outskirts of Trinidad offers all the privacy and peace of mind you could ask for while being surrounded by Redwoods and with ocean views from some spots. Scotty Point Cabin on the Bluff features a spacious yard, an outdoor BBQ, a fully-equipped kitchen, a living area with comfortable seating, and a deck with a convenient outdoor dining area where you can enjoy your meals prepared either in the gas grill or in the kitchen. This home was specifically built to be a perfect vacation rental for up to three people and has a perfect location for exploring all that Humboldt County has to offer while offering a beautiful, relaxing home to return to.

For outdoor lovers, Seawood Cape Preserve is adjacent to the property which is 128 acres of protected redwood forests and coastline. A short car or bike ride three miles north is Patrick's Point State Park, which is another great place for outdoor enthusiasts; hunt for agates, explore tidepools, and walk through a jungle of shrubs and trees! The quaint and lovely town of Trinidad and its beautiful beaches are three miles south.

Cozy Cabin for Solitude and Humboldt Nature

This cabin was the perfect home base for a solo hiking getaway! The WiFi worked well, the bed was cozy, the seclusion/privacy was amazing, and the spaces are both functional and look nice. I will definitely recommend this cabin to small/solo groups visiting Humboldt area!

Perfect private cottage with beautiful grounds and great location!

My husband and I stayed here for a second time and can't wait to come back in the warmer weather to enjoy the outside too. The beautiful meadow for the front yard is always serene, even with the snow cover last year. We enjoy the privacy, coziness and cleanliness of this sweet cottage and the owners do a great job of providing everything you need. We always feel at home. Thank you!

Cozy and warm cottage

Cozy and warm cottage, perfect for our little thanksgiving get together. The kitchen is small but well equipped. Comfortable and quiet, with a large yard and a nice viewing area of the sunset over the ocean.

Charming cabin

We loved our stay at this cabin. It was nicely furnished. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking items and the view of the sunset can't be beat! Perfect size for the two of us.

Great Location for a Visit to the Redwoods

The cabin was clean and comfortable with plenty of thoughtful touches. We so dearly wanted to love it, but when we arrived, we were met with a smell that wouldn’t go away regardless of our efforts to air the place out. Not sure where it was coming from, but it was with us throughout our stay. The kitchen was easy to use, and the laundry was a plus. The location was great - close to the highway, but tucked away from humanity. The deck overlooking the ocean was a great place to enjoy happy hour while watching the sun set. Management was very responsive to the two minor issues we had, but it was a pain to have coordinate for things that should have already been in the cabin.

Lots of Nature

This place offers a private park setting. A big park. The beds are very comfy, and we were very close to Trinidad and the local beaches. We'd stay again.

Cozy, private, very convinient

As a cook I loved everything in the kitchen. Boil, fry, bake you name it! Grill was easy and worked pretty well. My husband cleaned it before departure, and was thankful for the hot water outside. Bedrooms, bathroom are pretty well set. Loved the yard, everything was cleverly set. Highly recommend! Thank you for the hospitality!

Great place for Redwoods

Spent a week here as base for visiting Redwoods. Great little cabin for 3 people. You can see the ocean from property. Right off highway 101, 30 minutes south of popular Redwoods sites. Clean, quiet. Not ce restaurants nearby in Trinidad, CA

Wonderful stay in Trinidad

Our stay was wonderful it was definitely a home away from home. Very clean a well stocked kitchen and confortable bed. Loved the guestbook full of information to make our stay even more enjoyable. Restaurant and hikes ideas were appreciated. A glass of wine on the deck overlooking the ocean was a perfect way to end the day.

Cozy cabin by the sea

The cabin self is cozy, feeling like home. The location is perfect, easy access to the highway yet with tranquility. With the surrounding trees, it's so beautiful to see the milky way without lights contamination. In the morning, it's relaxing to see the pacific ocean from the patio , with birds chirping around. It's also convenient to visit the Redwoods State/national Park, about 20-25min drive. The staff were very friendly and helpful, responding to text messages quickly.

Scotti Point Cabin

Unique comfortable cabin w/gorgeous outside areas. Cabin very cozy w/nice indoor and outdoor lighting. Very quiet and intimate.The ocean view is limited to one area w/several nice chairs at west edge above Patrick's Point Road. The elegant huge lawn area is great for numerous games or activities. There is a nice lawn area outside master bedroom as well. It's like having your own rainforest outside the door.

Charming cabin

The Scotty Point cabin is a magical place. Cozy and quaint, it has everything you will need to enjoy your time and feel at home. The furnishings are simple, yet there are so many special touches around the cabin. the yard is expanse and feel far from the roads and town, just wandering and enjoying the property. The cabin is close to Sumeg Village and a short drive to town. There is a fantastic restaurant, Larrupin Cafe, nearby that is a must. Reservations needed. The is the perfect cabin for a couple. I love it and will recommend to everyone. There is no better place to spend when visiting Trinidad.

Perfect get away

My gal pal and I are very much from the city (SLC, UT) and we both needed a get away with fresh mountain air, plus we’d always wanted to see the Redwoods. This cabin was located in the perfect location and everything we needed to reboot. We were genuinely sad to have to leave. It was amazing!
