The owners were wonderful and super easy to contact! The house was clean and perfect for our little getaway. I love that the house felt like home and allowed dogs!
We would love to stay here again!
We loved the space in the home and the big yard. Our kids loved throwing the football around, having a fire, and playing games. We wiuld definite stay here again!
The house was very tidy and gave the comfort of being at home. The beds were very comfortable. Maybe could have some grilling utensils available is the only thing. Overall we were very satisfied.
Property is very well maintained! House is charming and quiet. Beds were very comfy! We loved having our own privacy at the end of the day to just relax. Wish we had more time to stay.
If you are looking for time away to reset, unwind and regroup in a peaceful beautiful country setting, this is the place to be! Clean, gorgeous farmhouse surrounded by cornfields, willows and animals. Highly recommend!
Beautiful and charming old country farm house set in the center or everything.
One hour drive to everywhere. Door county, Green Bay, Oshkosh, Sheboygan and Lake Michigan.
Winery's, Brewery's, small bars with excellent food and something to do everyday.
We believe the biggest booked this VRBO because we had a family reunion in the area. The home was set in the country and had such a cozy, homey feel! Both the front and back porch, had chairs to sit and enjoy the beautiful weather and countryside. All of the rooms had beds adorned with handmade quilts. If you are taking a trip and need a place to relax, this is definitely the place for you.
This property is a jewel!! House and garden have the best relaxing, bright, and friendly vibes! Everything was impeccably clean and in perfect condition! Host Tracey responded immediately to the one or two questions we had. We would definitely visit again! Thank you!
This was in a perfect location for our annual trip to training camp in Green Bay. Very quaint farmhouse, clean and had everything we needed. It was very peaceful, had a busy farm across the street, but we enjoyed that too!! Also very close to Lake Michigan and Point Beach Park, we even found a dog beach for our 2 dogs!! Beautiful sunroom, lots of natural light. Air conditioning and internet connection were awesome. If you’re looking for “granite countertops and stainless steel appliances “ this is not your thing. It’s a very functional, spacious old style farmhouse. Just perfect for us!!!
My friend and I just spent a long, wonderful weekend at the farmhouse. This is our 2nd time visiting. It's very spacious, yet with a cozy feel, immaculately clean and a great place to relax. Everything was just perfect. It has a HUGE manicured yard, beautiful flower gardens and surrounded by cornfields. Very private with no neighbors near by. The beds were very comforable and bedrooms a good size. Including a master suite. We're hoping that Tracey will be sharing her home for a long time, so we'll be able to return. Thank you! ! ! ! !
We had a wonderful time staying here. We enjoyed coffee on the patio in the mornings and sunsets over the cornfields in the evening. Denmark is about a 10 minute drive away. The Lickety Split ice cream place is a definite must.
It was easy to drive up to Kewaunee, Algoma, Sturgeon Bay, and on to Door County. One day we did the whole peninsula. Reds Pub and Grill has amazing food. The salmon on the Friday night fish fry is out of this world. Went back the next day and had the brisket sandwiches. Yum!
If you want to go southeast, it’s a nice drive along the rustic road by Point Beach State Park and down the road to Twin Rivers. Waters Edge Restaurant in the Lighthouse Inn has a beautiful view!
We really enjoyed staying at this farm house and having it as a convenient base to go out exploring. I was also working and had a daylong Zoom meeting. Their internet was great.
The owners were very communicative and kind and helpful.
Grateful for everything.
Beautiful property! Haven't felt so relaxed in years! This was our first VRBO experience and it surpassed our expectations. We had ample space for our family to spread out while still enjoying our time together. Our youngest particularly enjoyed spending time with Ruby (cat) and was thrilled when two of her friends showed up! Our 2 year old Setter had space to run and was thoroughly worn out at the end of each day. Easy drive to Green Bay, Door County, Neshota Beach.
Very nice house in the countryside. Décor and amenities are excellent. Plenty of room in the house and very comfortable. Owners/managers are extremely nice! Highly recommend!
Three couples who have known each other for over 20 years were looking for a way to spend a relaxing weekend together with enough space to have elbow room. We found that in this Farmette having lots of room both inside the house and outside on the property. Fun exploring the trails and caves at Maribel Caves park, riding bikes late at night on a desolate country road, and listening to music at the local winery.
The property owner (Tracey) was super easy to work with and very attentive to the questions I asked. It was cool to be able to relax and be IN the countryside enjoying the tranquility this location offers. The bike trail that starts in Denmark was well cared for. The wineries in the area were delicious and welcoming. Close to lots of stuff as the list of activities we did is long. We have already booked another weekend this summer.

About the host
Hosted by Tracey Mancheski
My husband and I are teachers in the area and we travel up north to run a small family resort for the summer so we thought we'd try to rent out our farm while we are away. We have 3 children, 4 horses, 7 chickens, 3 barn cats, 1 dog, and a lizard that live here during the school year.
Why they chose this property
We bought this property because my husband grew up down the road and we were looking to settle down in this area. We love the open space and the character of this house. We also have a 1903 barn that allows us to keep our animals near us.
What makes this property unique
We have a barn cat that lives on the property full time.
