Enjoy your escape to Cape Cod at our bright and cozy Carefree Cottage in Centerville. A short walk to both Covell's and Craigville Beaches. Beach parking pass valid for all 12 Barnstable Beaches, umbrella, towels, 3 bikes, beach chairs and cooler are provided for a rejuvenating day in the sun.

Once you’re back you can rinse off in our enclosed outdoor shower before dinner. Cook a fresh seafood meal from the local market in our eat in kitchen with lobster pot, or outside on the gas grill, on the patio. The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, coffee maker, toaster, pots, pans and gas range.

Afterwards, enjoy conversation outdoors around a warm firepit in the partially fenced spacious backyard. Or you can move to the Living room, where you can watch a movie, challenge yourselves to a board game, and enjoy time together. Wireless internet throughout including basement if needed for working.

At the end of your day, find comfort in one of the cottage’s two bedrooms. The first bedroom has a comfy Queen bed, large closet and dresser. The spacious second one has 2 twin beds, dressers and a large closet. Luggage racks provided for convenience. Towels and sheets included!

There is an additional basement bonus room to hang out with Football game, monitor. Washer and dryer provided. Plenty of parking is available on the property.

Only a short drive to the quaint village of Osterville, as well as Hyannis and the Ferries to Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard. Convenient to shopping, dining in Centerville the surrounding towns and Cape Cod Brewery. You’ll be close to what’s cool on the cape without the hustle and bustle.

Located within walking distance to beaches, Main Street, supermarket, The Daily Paper, Cape Fish & Lobster market, mini golf-Ice cream and Barnstable brewery. 4 Seas Ice cream store and Centerville Recreation Center with a very large and renovated playground is close by.

We love this property for its convenient location, which lets our guests avoid traffic and still find all the things they need.

Revisiting childhood memories and relatives

Used to go to Craigville beach with our family as kids. This was a perfect location, close to the beach and our relatives. Nice neighborhood, close to Hyannis with all the shops and restaurants

Cozy little cape house in a quite neighborhood

We spend a week in Cape Cod and staying at Laura & Chris’s home. The location is great for us, it’s very residential and not too far away from the beaches, ferry ports and other attractions. The house is clean and fully equipped, comfortably accommodates two adults and two kids. Laura is very responsive and check in and out is super easy. Beach pass is a plus, and yes, I would recommend this place if you plan to visit Cape Cod by car.

Wonderful cottage

Very pleased with this wonderful cottage. Quiet neighborhood, great location, all modern appliances, comfy bed, very responsive owners - I could go on. Suffice it to say you won't be dissapointed.

Great cape cod getaway

We had a beautiful week at this cottage which was very clean and well equipped. We enjoyed having the beach chairs and umbrellas. The beach is very close by, 15 minute walk and the parking pass was very convenient. The beach was large and not overcrowded and had life guards on site. The area is great with cute shops in Hyannis.

Cute and Clean Cottage

I can not say enough good things about Laura & Chris’s cottage. The cottage looked the same as the photos. It was nicely decorated and very clean. Laura and Chris thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. My family and I highly recommend their cottage.

Perfect Beach Vacation Spot!

We loved this place! It is so close to everything (beach, restaurants, Four Seas Ice Cream, etc,) but is also in a nice quiet neighborhood, so you get the best of both worlds. The bikes and beach pass were added bonuses and the house was awesome! It is even better in person than it looks online. I would definitely rent again. Laura (owner) is super nice, easy to communicate with and responds promptly.

Lovely Cape home

We had a wonderful week here. The house was clean and matched the online description/pictures perfectly. Owners were warm and responsive. The rental included extras such as beach equipment and a coveted beach pass which saved us packing and money. Would highly recommend.

Very clean nice home

Great vacation!

We had a great stay at this little cottage for our annual cape vacation. The house had everything we needed and it was so nice to have linens and towels included, plus the beach parking pass. The host was super friendly and responsive, and had great suggestions for activities and restaurants. My family had an awesome vacation.

Perfect

I was looking for a nice quiet neighborhood in a quaint cottage to take time away from my hectic life and I found it! The tasteful nautical 'Cape Cod' decor was charming. Very clean neat, calming colors, comfortable bed and living room sofa. If you enjoy tv, plenty of dvd's and shows. If you need a quiet space to read and/or get work done, this is the place. Water pressure in the shower was just right. I really cannot praise the cottage enough except to compliment the owner for being so friendly and available when I had a question. I returned home relaxed and revived. If I am in need of a quick getaway or a longer reprieve in the future I hope this little gem will be available.

Just right for a getaway.

House was very clean and perfect for our week-long stay. Communication with Laura was easy and quick. Location was convenient for day trips to Ptown, Chatham and Martha’s Vineyard. Did not get to enjoy the backyard due to weather, nor the roomy basement (rest of house was room enough)—maybe next time.

Great little cottage!

The house was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The owners reached out to make sure everything was ok when we checked in. Check in was super easy and no house keys to have to deal with. Great location too! Very nice stay!

Comfy getaway in quiet neighborhood near Craigville Beach

Comfortable 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom beach house in quiet residential neighborhood, with Craigville Beach about 1 mile (20-minute walk) away. House has all the kitchen essentials (except dishwasher), and washer / dryer in lower level. House was clean, living room was comfortable with large assortment of games and puzzles. Bedroom AC window unit was loud when it kicked on but effective.

Wonderful Stay

My family (husband and 2 little kids) stayed at Cape Cottage and it was perfect for us. We loved the proximity to the beach, the use of the beach pass made traveling to different beaches affordable. We loved how close the cottage was to Hyannis for the shops but the location was remote enough that the streets weren't busy and there wasn't a lot of noise from neighbors. The cottage was as described, cute, clean, and communication with the hosts was quick and helpful. Would stay here again if we come to the Cape!

Great house and location

The house was great. It was just enough space for me and my daughter. We loved and used the bikes, fire pit, outdoor shower. The house was one mile to Craigville Beach and also close to a grocery store and downtown Hyannis. Having linens provided was a big plus.

Excellent Cape Escape

Laura and Chris have a wonderful home with all that a family needs for the perfect Cape Cod retreat. We loved the outdoor shower, fire pit and used the bikes a ton. The proximity to Craigville beach and all that the mid-Cape has to offer was perfect. Laura and Chris were gracious and responsive hosts and we were thrilled with the opportunity to spend time in their home. Run, don't walk to this cottage by the sea.
