The house makes it possible to shine for excursions (Basque Country, Hossegor, Lake Leon, beaches).

Nettes Holzhaus, leider stinkende Fabrik in direkter Nachbarschaft

Das Haus war eingerichtet, wie auf den Photos ersichtlich. Nur Kleinigkeiten sind aufgefallen, wie WC-Spülungen klemmt. Der größte Nachteil und deshalb auch nur zwei Sterne ist der ständige Geruch/Gestank (je nachdem wie empfindlich die Nase ist)der 100m entfernten Fabrik

très agréable séjour, maison avec beaucoup de charme, bien équipée. la propriétaire est charmante et discrète. A proximité de la plage et de la piste cyclabe. Tout petit inconvénient : parfois une odeur à l'extérieure et un petit frigo je recommande

Schöne Zeit in Vielle St. Girons

Das liebevoll hergerichtete und ausgestattete Haus, das für uns Drei reichlich Platz bot, lies keine Wünsche offen. In privater Wohngegend am Rande des Ortes gelegen, brauchte man mit dem Auto keine 10 Minuten zum Strand, der sehr schön und trotzdem selbst im August nicht überlaufen war. Gewöhnungsbedürftig für empfindliche Nasen mag der ab und an rüberwehende Geruch einer, der Wohngegend nahe liegenden, kiefernprodukte-verarbeitenden Fabrik sein. Unsern schönen Urlaub hat es nicht stören können.

Gelungener Kurzaufenthalt in grandioser Umgebung!

Wir haben während einer kleinen Frankreich-Rundreise auch 5 Tage in diesem schönen Ferienhaus verbracht. Netter Empfang mit einer Flasche Rose im Kühlschrank! Die Lage auf dem großen Grundstück ist toll, separater Parkplatz und eigene Zugangsmöglichkeit zum Grundstück. Das Vermieter-Haus liegt relativ weit entfernt und von Hecken abgeschirmt, wenn man nicht will, sieht man sich nicht. Es wäre aber schade den Kontakt zu scheuen, die Familie ist super nett. Unsere Kinder haben im Enkelkind schnell einen Spielkameraden gefunden. Wir sind mit großem Hund gereist, das war dort überhaupt kein Problem. Die Ausstattung des Hauses lässt kaum Wünsche offen, lediglich das nur eine Badewanne unter der Dachschräge zum duschen vorhanden ist könnte man als etwas umständlich ansehen (wenn man sich nach langen Strandaufenthalt etwas vom Sand befreien möchte). Und abschließend noch ein Wort zu der schlechten Bewertung aus August 2020 von Hervé C.: Ja, es gibt das DRT-Werk dort, hinter dem Wald. Wir waren auf Grund der Bewertung auch erst skeptisch. Ab und zu fährt mal ein LKW (hinter dem Wald). Nachts aber nicht. Nachts kann man die großen Luftgebläse (o.ä.) hören, man kann sich aber auch einreden es wäre Meeresrauschen. Störend ist das nicht. Je nach Windrichtung kam tatsächlich auch mal ein Geruch herüber, Das ist aber nach ca. 15 Minuten wieder vorbei. Da wir tagsüber ohnehin am Starnd waren und nur Abends im Haus, hat uns dieses Problem lediglich 4 - 5 mal betroffen. Von der Art des Geruches dachten wir zuerst, jemand würde grillen, der Geruch wurde dann kurz intensiver, als ob man die Fertigsalami vom Discounter öffnet. Wie gesagt, alles schnell wieder vorbei und man kann es problemlos aushalten. Kein Grund, dieses Haus zu meiden. Wir werden diese Haus auf jeden Fall auch interessierten Freunden empfehlen, unter anderem weil auch der Preis absolut Top ist für die Region!

Havre de tranquillité dans les Landes .

Une bergerie réellement charmante… un bien rare en location, bien situé à quelques minutes de la plage de Saint-Girons ou du marché de Léon. Pour nous un séjour formidable !

Summer in Les Landes

My lady and I stayed at Gunilla and Benoit's home in Vielle St Girons for a few months and had an absolutely magical time. We had great neighbors, a short drive to the beach, and a very peaceful place to call home for the summer. We hope to be back next year!!

Chouette bergerie mais mauvaise localisation

Très belle rénovation d’une ancienne bergerie. Convient pour couple ou couple avec deux enfants. Endroit idéal pour de belles ballades en vélo et près de très belles plages. Mais le logement est situé à moins de 200m d’une usine chimique avec toutes les nuisances associées: bruit continuel (même si pas intense mais continu et ennuyant pendant la nuit), traffic de camions et surtout une mauvaise odeur écoeurante suivant l’orientation du vent (impossible de rester dehors ou fenêtres ouvertes quand c’est le cas). Dommage car cela a vraiment gâché notre séjour.
