The house is located in the center of McKinney 1/2 hour north of Dallas. Near major freeways, it has all types of entertainment with good restaurants nearby. The downtown historical square attracts people from all over Texas.

Great location

This is an older home in a great safe neighborhood with lots of restaurants and shopping close by. Great for walking. The house is showing some age but everything worked. Kitchen was well equipped. Based on another guest’s recommendations we brought an extra blanket and throw and we are glad we did. One concern we did have in the “House Rules”, is the expectation that we clean the bathrooms and kitchen for the next guests, in spite of the fact we paid a cleaning fee in advance. I would hope that those areas would always be professionally cleaned and sanitized for each guest. The host was accessible and accommodating. It’s a great place for summer guests with the large pool and beautiful deck.

Nice, quiet area - basic accommodations

Roger is a kind and responsive host. House has large master BR and good floor plan. Owner lives here part-time, so there are a lot of personal items. Cleaning and maintenance are "ok", but not "white-glove" level, as many other VRBO homes are.

Amazing Location

Beautiful, shady pool for us sun-deprived Canadians. Spacious, clean, well equipped home in an absolutely beautiful (and close to amenities) home. Roger is wonderful to work with.

We enjoyed our stay at this house. Did not realize that the pool would not be open, but no big deal as we stayed plenty busy anyways. Best stocked house we have ever stayed in! Comfy beds and cozy towels too. Would recommend for a family!

Nice house needs more seasonal information

We booked this home because it had pool and looked lovely from the photos. Which in fact is a nice home and very personalized. The neighborhood is even more lovely than we imagined. We were disappointed that the pool was non operational and that was not discussed to us prior to booking. Cleaning crew could have been more thorough. Roger kept in communication with us throughout our stay as needed, but overall satisfied with our stay. I advise you read the house rules/operations on the coffee table as soon as you as you arrive. We missed the trash by a day.

Spacious home

The furniture was very comfortable, the kitchen equipment was easy to use. Issue with the hot tub was handled quickly by host who was responsive our entire stay. Only issue was the home needs a deeper cleaning as some dishes were not clean in the cupboard and stains on the carpet, other small cleaning issues but would not keep us from renting in the future. Overall the most comfortable place we have found in the past five years of renting.

Peaceful respite

We enjoyed the outdoor deck with pool and view of golf course. Very nice neighborhood to stay while visiting family close by. The host was very responsive to any questions that arose during our visit.

Awesome house

Mckinney golf course home

This is a beautiful home with plenty of amenities and a beautiful backyard view of the golf course. The neighborhood is quiet and the neighbors are very friendly. The pool was an added luxury during the 100 degree weather we had during my recent stay

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. The yard is lovely and ther is a lovely desk for a relaxing place to view the golfers. The pool is a great enhancement when the weather is 100 plus degrees. Comfortably and beautifully furnished

Perfect Stay

Between the house, the pool, and Roger, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we walked in the house, we knew we were home! The pictures are accurate - except it’s even better in person. The house is wonderfully decorated but you don’t feel like you can’t touch anything. Everything you need is there. There are tons of books and games and puzzles if you need something to do while there and don’t feel like using the pool. The pool, the deck and the back yard are fabulous. Very relaxing to even just sit out and hang out. Roger was so easy to work with and we would definitely stay at his house again. We stayed for two weeks and when we left, we all said - “I’m gonna miss this place!” Don’t hesitate to book this home. You won’t be disappointed. Thank you Roger for having us.

Perfect Location and very nice house

This house was convenient to all the places we were visiting and within a couple of miles of our family who live in McKinney. The house was comfortable and had all our needs met. We even had a little cookout for our family in the back yard! The hot air fryer was a nice plus! We got into town a day early and Roger was able to accommodate us with an additional day. I would definitely recommend this home to others!

Perfect house for our McKinney stay

Perfect place for us to stay when we are in town visiting family. Only a mile away from family/everything. House was very lovely and bonus has a pool. We weren’t able to us pool as we were busy with family stuff but everything in this house was great.

It is deep cleaned between rentals with special attention to enhanced cleaning protocols.. You will find that it is fully equipped and a place to relax and have fun. I am a good communicator and am available whenever needed.
