Sandomil River-Beach House

The 100-year-old house is located on the outskirts of Sandomil, a picturesque village flanked by the Alva river and the majestic Serra de Estrela. Guests can enjoy the silence of the nature park from the house and make use of the barbecue area, café and beach in the river, while the little ones can enjoy the park at their own designated spot. There is a master bedroom with its own sitting area, another room with a sofa bed, a full kitchen and a full shower room. You can enjoy the sun while enjoying the view of the mountains, the river and the beautiful oak trees.


Nature and surroundings
The house is on the banks of the Alva River with its beautiful Fluvial Beach and crystal clear water. The rural landscape is the biggest highlight of the Serra de Estrela region, with water mills, quiet mountain streets, the Roman bridge, the previous building of the town hall, now converted into a mansion, the Mother Church with its remarkable slant tower, the granite chapel São Sebastião and that of São Baptista. The village preserves many old traditions from days gone by and passionately celebrates the folk festivals and many festivals in the community, such as Christmas, New Year's Day and Day, Easter and Holy Week.
