Well-stocked & Cozy
Our stay was great! Comfy beds, a well-stocked kitchen, plenty of space for us and the kids to play outside and relax and a nice selection of board games. Thanks so much, would recommend to anyone looking for a cozy cottage near downtown and the beach!

Family Christmas
We were looking for a location where our whole family could convene for Christmas. Harriet is a wonderful host and we loved our time together at this very nice house.

Just far enough away from the hustle/bustle
We lived in North Holland for several years. Back for an event for a family member. The house was well-appointed and tidy. Enough room for three adults, certainly. While to road in front of the house is typically busy in summer, it was peaceful in winter. It was a 7 minute drive to “downtown,” filled with food and shopping options. We enjoyed our stay.

Son’s Wedding
Our youngest son got married at Baker Events. We booked this house for our family for four days to prepare for the wedding. Its location was central to all shops we needed, the Maatman Center where we held the rehearsal dinner, and the wedding venue. The home is so welcoming and clean. It is decorated with all different lighthouses and beach decor. My eight year old grandson loved all the games available to play and the bunkbed room with the Dutch door. The beds were comfortable and we loved that we could park both cars in the garage, as we arrived in a snowstorm. The drive way was plowed for us upon our arrival, which we were very thankful for. The host, Harriet was so helpful and kind when I texted her with questions I had before our stay and the day we arrived. We can’t wait to come back and stay again.

A Pleasant Getaway
The "Welcome Home" house was a nice place for us to stay while visiting the Holland area. Harriet was very responsive and easy to communicate with.

Wedding weekend
We book the property originally because it said it allowed guests and we were going to host our rehearsal at the house. However, after asking about parking we were informed that no more than 6 were allowed (the house sleeps 8). We had to last minute change our plans and find somewhere else. Other than the false advertisement of allowing parties, the house was nice.

Wonderful home!
We stayed at this property for a week with our son and his wife and their two small children. It was perfect for our visit. Everyone loved having the pool in the backyard and we played some of the games that were there. It was a comfortable place to stay and a great location for getting to the beach, downtown, and the ice cream stores! Thank you to our host. We'll definitely consider staying there again if we come back again next summer.

Great first trip to Holland
We enjoyed our week stay very much. The house is in a great location, close to Holland State Park, short drive to downtown, and plenty of places to eat in the area. The grill and pool were great to have as we had two of our children with us on this trip. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Location, Pool was a hit
We had a great time in Holland staying at Welcome Home. The owner was very responsive with good communication. The house is in a great location between downtown and the beach. Bring your bikes or use theirs to ride to nearby parks, restaurants and beaches. The road out front is very busy, but you'll spend most your time out back by the pool which our kids loved. The house was a perfect size, clean and well stocked for us.

Perfect stay for Holland area
We had a great stay at this house. Everything was as described. House is charming and well stocked. Pool was nice to have - it is not heated. Plenty of outside seating. We were in the area for a softball tournament and able to have the team over for dinner one night and it was comfortable. It’s close to downtown Holland and also Ottawa Beach, which is beautiful. Plenty of grocery/shopping close by. We could not figure out how to work the televisions and cable boxes.We really don’t watch a lot of TV especially on vacation but it rained one day and we wanted to watch a movie. The living room television is a smart TV so we got logged into that. Our family loved all the games available. The only downside was the outside garbage can was will when we got there and we had no where to put our garbage.

Father Son Golf Outing
Our group had an awesome stay in Holland . This house perfectly suited us. Very comfortable and clean . Plenty of room for us to relax , play cards and spend time just enjoying one another. Plus, the pool is clean and plenty of outside seating to chill poolside . Thanks Harriet !!!

Best place to relax with family
The property is well taken care of, and has everything you need. The best part is the pool. It has a grill and bicycles to go for a night ride. The neighborhood is nice, safe and quiet. I highly recommend visiting this property.

2024 Girls Trip Michigan
We came to have a girls trip to celebrate a few of us turning 50. We had a great time relaxing and spending time together. The house was very roomy and comfortable. Wished the pool was ready and warmer, but was still fun sitting outside by it. There are little cabins in the back that we were confused by but it wasn’t a big deal. The house was in a great location. Next time will have to stay longer.

Comfy stay for a wedding
The house was comfy and well stocked. I only wish the doors closed a little quieter as we traveled with our 4 and 2yos which were startled when opening or closing doors. This beat having a hotel by far and would look to rent again for future trips in Holland.
