Les Dunes - facing the sea in Quineville
This house that one would think built directly in the dunes will allow you to enjoy an incredible view of the bay of Saint Vaast and the towers of the Hougue and Tatihou (forts Vauban classified as World Heritage by UNESCO), you you will be able to serenely enjoy the dune landscape and the movement of the tides.
The parents' room is away and quiet (you have to cross the children's room to get there).
The land behind the house is private but remains open to preserve the natural side of the place.
Games for the children, with beach utensils are left at the disposal of the hosts.
A table and garden chairs are available and can be set up in the private area also in front of the house.
Quineville is endowed with quality shops (butcher, bakery, mini-market, biscuit factory and restaurants).
Quineville Beach is the last beach on which the Allied landings took place in June 1944.
Located 30 minutes from Cherbourg (Pointe de la Hague and Cité de la Mer), Les Dunes is the ideal place to explore the beautiful Cotentin region.
You will be able to discover Barfleur, pretty village and typical fishing port (20 km) as well as the Gatteville Lighthouse at 23 km.
The Regional Natural Park of Cotentin and Bessin Marshes will delight nature lovers who will be able to take lovely walks to observe birds and recharge their batteries.
A charming marina and a sailing school are close to the house.
Horse riding in the dunes and on the beach are also possible starting directly from Quineville.
