The house was in a nice neighborhood and convenient to many stores. The owners were responsive and accommodating when I requested a 30min earlier check-in due to our infant grandson. The only reason for the 3 stars is the place needs some TLC. Coffee maker in the frig did not work, a couple of lamps were broke, many light bulbs were inop. Ceiling grate falling down in master bedroom. Remotes in TV room were dead. wifi was extremely slow. So honestly our experience was good but could've been so much better with the home getting some love.

Disappointing
I will list the the pros and cons
Pros- clean, plenty of room, decent neighborhood, good location.
Cons- dishwasher filled with water if you used the sink, sink filled with water if you used the dishwasher. Washing machine was to be delivered day off arrival but never was. So we couldn’t wash clothes we intended to , which is also why we rented the house. Pots and pans were in poor condition, coffee maker in fridge doesn’t work and no other option for a coffee pot.
We came down to Charleston for a wedding in Folley Beach, and this was definitely the perfect house for our stay! We mainly needed somewhere to relax and enjoy our downtime between all the wedding events, and we’re very pleased with the accommodations! Thank you so much!!

I did not enjoy my stay
First of all the code didn’t work when I got to the house and I couldn’t contact the property owner so I had to call a lot of numbers just to get someone to help me get the right code, second the sink had a bad leak and I had to put towels down to avoid the house flooding when I run the water
We visited Charleston for a girls weekend with 12 college aged women. The house was better than the pictures showed! Highly recommend. If you are planning on cooking, the kitchen lacked in a lot of things I needed, however, I always bring my own supplies just in case! They did have a cheese grater! No big pots for cooking pasta or anything for a large group. Also, bring toilet paper and paper towels; for 12 girls, what was provided only lasted 1 day. All in all, the house was perfect for a large group. The couch in the front room also pulls out into a queen bed! Only room for about 6 cars max (4 in the driveway and 2 on the street, maybe 3 if needed).
I stayed here for a girls trip/bachelorette trip and it was perfect! Exactly what I wanted. It was in a great neighborhood, it was quite and calm, and beautiful interior! I highly recommend!
The only downfall we had was the grass was really tall and made it to where we couldn’t enjoy the backyard. The theater room was nice! Location was great to be able to go and see the area.

Big House but not great
The owner was basically non-responsive and the little communication we had was confusing. We were there five nights and had two dishwasher pods and one trash bag, we ended up having to buy our own. There was an uncomfortable amount of security cameras/ring/nest devices. The day we arrived, water was pouring through the ceiling in the movie room. We told the owner around 5 pm and heard nothing, until he arrived at the door at 11:45 pm when we were already asleep. He turned off an extra AC unit or something in the ceiling, but then the water just sat in the carpet the whole time we were there. The house looks like it does in pictures, but just didn't feel clean. There were air fresheners every where, but the place just always smelled musty. It was a good location as far as Charleston sight-seeing goes, and close to food/groceries.
While the house was large enough to accommodate the whole family and the movie/exercise room was a great asset, unfortunately we had a few issues that were disappointing. The beds were not comfortable. The master bedroom bed had a plastic cover on it with a sheet over top. When you rolled over, the sheet would come off the bed and you were left lying on the plastic. The other full size bed sagged in the middle. The mattresses on the twin beds were so thin that you could feel the boards underneath it. We would have loved to enjoy the lighted outdoor gazebo but the grass was so high that it was not worth walking through to get to it. It did not appear that the flower beds had been tended to in quite some time. We had several bugs inside the house that we had to get rid of. The icing on the cake on our checkout day - apparently the trash had not been emptied during the week, so we woke up the the front porch covered in maggots!!! We had to use bowls of water to clean off enough space to get out the front door to get to the water hose to rinse the porch and driveway off several times. Horrible ending to what should have been a great weekend with family.
This house is cute and pretty big inside - it looks much smaller from outside. Location - close to Charleston and Cypress gardens. Kitchen has everything you need, also great backyard!
We can't wait to go back to North Charleston area, and will definitely try to reserve this house again! It is close to shopping, restaurants, and the interstate, but with the woods behind the house, a backyard set up for outdoor entertaining, and the family neighborhood location, it really is special. The owner even displayed Christmas decorations for us.
There were 8 of us coming from KC to Charleston for 2 weddings in 1 weekend. We needed a place central to the locations & to one of the brides. This place was a short drive from the airport & in a great location for us. The pictures are accurate & with the exception of an air conditioner in the media room that had an issue until fixed, our stay was free of complications. The house was the perfect size for our group. I do have some suggestions that I will share with the owner that could make the stay even better for future renters. But none of the suggestions would cause us to give this property a low score. As I said, it worked well for our group & allowed us to have a central location for others who came in town & wanted to visit with my niece (one of the brides). Two thumbs up!
