QUIET APARTMENT IN A CHALET OF CHARM, IN THE PRETTY VALLE DES ARDOISIERES

The cottage was built in 1847 and retains its charm. It is surrounded by a flat private garden of 1000 m² with 2 private parking spaces. On the first floor with independent access, you will have: a large living room with a large table and sofas facing a warm Godin wood stove open (electric heating also), a south facing balcony with nice views of the fir trees and the mountain, 2 rooms which open on the balcony (respectively a big bed and 3 small beds) of which one with room of water, the 2 others have seen on the slate cliff of Super Morzine (respectively a big bed and 3 small ones beds), a ski and shoe room, a kitchen, another bathroom with toilet, a separate toilet.
The chalet is located halfway between the Pleney cable car (Morzine-Les Gets sector. Access 5 minutes) and the Prodains cable car (Avoriaz-Switzerland sector. Access 5 minutes), these two resorts of Morzine and Avoriaz part of the magnificent Portes du Soleil (650 km of slopes). Free shuttles to Morzine and Avoriaz at 80 m from the chalet with runs every 10 minutes. No car needed.
The center of Morzine (2.5 km) is driven by many bars and restaurants. The shops cater to all needs.
For your maximum comfort, for stays of 7 days and more, sheets and pillowcases are provided and cleaning is done at your departure. For short stays, linen and cleaning are optional (extra costs).
Besides winter sports you can indulge in climbing, golf, tennis, swimming, horse riding as well as hiking and mountain biking.
For dinner, we recommend various restaurants in Morzine "Chaudanne", "La Chamade" or "Farm of fruit." Avoriaz: the restaurant "Flo".
You can go fishing trout you 50 m from the cottage to enjoy the next day.

Another lovely stay at this beautiful old chalet. Well-positioned for the bus route to the slopes and a walk into town, this place is a cosy place and we’ve now enjoyed two visits here for skiing Z see you next year hopefully!

Great location.
Great location with easy access to shuttle bus from road nearby. Unfortunately had a power cut on 2nd evening but emergency managed promptly by the agent and EDF repaired problem within 3 hours, despite blizzard conditions outside. Chalet clean and kitchen well equipped. Reason only 3 star rating was that the furniture in main sitting room was not to standard of rest of chalet and not conducive to relaxing in evenings. Overall though would recommend and would book again.

A great location with good communication from owner and chalet manager. The bus really is a 60second walk from front door to both Pleney and Prodains lifts. Only 25min walk into town too. Bedrooms worked well with comfy basic beds, not much clothing storage space, so travel light. Very warm lounge once log burner fire was going. Lounge furnishings not conducive to a lazy evening. All worked as expected, thank you.

Nous étions 4 familles venues de départements différents, avec des besoins différents. Réunion familiale réussie. Riche en émotion et plaisir d'apprécier ce magnifique site. Le chalet correspondait à nos attentes. Hélas le séjour était trop court. Merci à Pascale pour avoir été toujours disponible pour répondre à nos questions.

Très bien situé, chalet avec tout le nécessaire à disposition et très chaleureux , idéal pour un séjour ski, avec le charme de la montagne et son calme. Arrivé au chalet, nous n’avons plus touché à la voiture ! La navette a 2 minutes, le bonheur! Propriétaire à l’écoute! Nous reviendrons!

Des amis m’avait décrit la beauté de Morzine en automne, d’où ma venue pour la Toussaint dans votre chalet. Une parenthèse de grâce en cette période si particulière. Votre chalet est vraiment exceptionnel. Nous avons aimé son caractère ancien, authentique et son côté spacieux. Le confort nous a permis une détente maximale : les chaises longues avec leurs peaux de mouton, cette grande table conviviale, une wifi à 100%, une cuisine hyperfonctionnelle, le tout dans un cadre magnifique et reposant. Nous avons pu aller marcher à partir du chalet, tant il est proche de balades réjouissantes. Bref, nous sommes ravis et souhaitons déjà prévoir de revenir chez vous. J’ajoute que tout était nickel en arrivant et que l’accueil, et notamment le vôtre, Pascale, était plus que chaleureux. Un immense merci.

Très joli chalet plein de charme
Notre séjour fut une bulle d’oxygène et de nature dans ces temps difficiles. Dès notre arrivée nous nous sommes sentis bien dans ce joli chalet qui nous a permis de déconnecter de notre quotidien. Il est propre, confortable et il y a tout ce qu’il faut. Les enfants ont adoré le trampoline, la table de ping pong et la pêche à la truite dans l’étang voisin. Nous reviendrons et recommandons!

Très chaleureuse, fonctionnelle demeure
De belles chambres, un séjour sympa, une cuisine & salle de bains modernes et bien équipées. Un vestibule pratique pour le matériel de ski, ainsi qu'une grande penderie pour accueillir anorak, casques et affaires de ski. Bon chauffage électrique. Ne pas oublier d'apporter vos torchons, attention à vos têtes car deux cadrants de porte sont bas... il faut baisser la tête pour les plus de 1m80. Bus à proximité. Pratique pour ski sur Avoriaz ou à partir de Pleney ! Bon séjour !

Charming rustic chalet - highly recommended
Just what we were after. 2 families with children 9-13. Good value and on the A bus run (5-10 mins into the pleney and every 10mins). Great location just out of town but only 15-20min walk in. Felt very peaceful and kids loved playing in the garden. Balcony bathed in sun in the afternoon. Many thanks Pascale - always answered emails very promptly. Would definitely book again.

Winter stay in Morzine
Séjour agréable d'une semaine dans le chalet. La prestation est lafargement conforme à ce qui est annoncé. Le chalet a beaucoup de charme et mérite le détour. L'arret de bus (si besoin) est au bout du petit chemin. Très pratique. On recommande. We had a wonderful stay in the chalet for 7 days. Internet, TV, beds, kindness and all facilities to cook were has described. We would definitely recommend. Host is responsive when needed.

Beaucoup de charme !
Nous nous sommes déconnectés dès notre arrivée ! Les enfants ont été ravis de faire de la luge et des bonhommes de neige autour du chalet et de profiter de la piscine de Morzine qui est très grande et très agréable. La navette pour aller skier à Avoriaz est très pratique et rapide. Nous avons aussi fait de belles balades en raquettes. Le soir, nous avons profité du poêle et de l'appareil à raclette ! Le chalet était propre et conforme à la description. Vivement l'année prochaine !

Un chalet plein de charme!
Le joli chalet nous a permis de déconnecter tout de suite de notre quotidien: feux de bois, grande tablée, ruisseau et paysage montagnard. Nous avons pris la navette pour aller skier à Avoriaz, c'est pratique et rapide. Les enfants ont fait de la luge à coté du chalet et joué au bord du ruisseau, ils étaient ravis. Le chalet était bien propre et conforme à la description. Nous espérons bien pouvoir y retourner l'année prochaine!
