It's been proven that color affects your state of mind, and orange and yellow evoke feelings of happiness, friendship, warmth and energy. Then, when you need to wind down, the calming blues and greens of the community pool and spa, surrounded by lush landscaping, are right below your patio.

This cute little condo makes an excellent get away, it has two large bedrooms with walk-in closets, and a large bathroom with dual sinks and a tiled walk-in shower. Plus, you’re situated in an ideal location directly above the heated pool with your own private balcony to enjoy the sunrises and sunsets from. And if our Arizona sun gets to be too much for you, or you’d like a little extra privacy, we have roller sunshades on each side of the patio.

The kitchen has everything you need to prepare your daily meals, you'll just have to decide if you want to eat at the counter height dining table, or have your coffee out on the patio overlooking the pool. Or you can head out front to the lush and green common area to grill out and have a picnic on the picnic tables.

You'll really enjoy the many upgrades, including electric recliners, granite countertops, ceiling fans in every room, and of course a washer and dryer to complete your home away from home. And we don't think your furry family member should have to be left at home, so pets are welcome too!

Great Casita in Mesa

We had a great stay at the Sun Valley Casita. Very many amenities were available. It was very colorful, clean and and comfortable!

Family vacation

Patio poolside view

We loved this cozy & beautiful 2 berm, 1 bath condo on the second floor with a lovely outdoor patio overlooking the pool. I loved going right downstairs from our place to swim & hot tub each morning. It was a very quiet neighborhood with nice neighbors. The condo had all the conveniences we needed. The friendly owners were very available to answer questions. We’d love to stay here again!

Nice property

The property was nicely appointed, and Sarah was very responsive to our communications. We were surprised that there is no garbage disposal in the sink. Also, for the price of rental, the carpet is in need of replacing.

Wedding/Family Event

The condo is a charming and comfortable place to stay with all the necessities and no need to continually run to a store. I liked the location by the pool. I spent most of my time on the deck enjoying the sunshine and beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The neighbors are very friendly and made you feel at home. Super nice retirement community and good location. I hope to visit again.

A home away from home!!

A very inviting condo. Very well decorated. While we didnt use the pool..it is right in your back yard. Just a few items we brought to Sarah's attention...things not being there daily she wouldn’t know. She appreciated my feedback so she can fix the few items before her next guests. We were mostly overall pleased. Very comfy. She even got us a table for the balcony!!! Thanks Sarah for being so very nice. Kind regards.

This property was wonderful. Basically all you have to do is show up with your suitcase. So many things were provided. It was supplied with herbs and spices, some dry goods for the kitchen all kitchen pots snd pans and dishes. The location was quiet and very pretty. We highly recommend. Communication with the owners was easy and very responsive. We will come again.

Great Senior property

This is on the second floor, so if you have issues with stairs, it could be a problem. The condo has everything you can stay comfortably. The only issue I would have with the beds, is that they could use some new pillows. The kitchen is well stocked and even has a few condiments. There was coffee in the refrigerator that we used and replenished before leaving. The pool is right outside the door and heated nicely. Our granddaughters came for a swim on a few occasions and enjoyed. I messaged the owner to let them know of a couple maintenance issues, so hopefully those will be addressed for the next renter. We had an enjoyable stay and will probably return.

Two Week bridge after sale of our home.

Lipstick on a Pig! An older condo community with an attempt to hide age with colorful paint. We are not sure how dark colors, dark leather furniture and poor light can be misconstrued as "cheerful, happiness, friendship, energy and warmth." The kitchen was poorly stocked with a collection of inexpensive utensils, pots and pans, etc. Thankfully, my wife is a chef, and travels with all of her own professional kitchen supplies. The bathroom contained an ancient, child size toilet, wedged between the counter and the shower that was difficult to mount ( we are normal size adults) and impossible to evacuate a bowel movement with a single flush and required 5-10 minutes to refill tank. The tiled walk in shower floor had stones that were not set correctly thus requiring us to wear flip flops while showering to avoid a painful experience. The shower temperature regulator was installed improperly and NEVER allowed the temperature to exceed lukewarm regardless of how long the water was run. We contacted the owner on the second day and were told to "just let it run longer to warm up". Unfortunately, for two weeks, we took tepid showers. The washing machine functioned well but the dryer required multiple cycles (2-3) to dry a normal size load of laundry. We informed the owner that the A/C filter was filthy, had a black substance that appeared to be mold and dripped water constantly on the hallway rug. During our stay, no actions were taken by owner. The owner micro managed the thermostat from a remote location (Nest) which led to a constant fluctuation in temperature and somewhat of a "battle" to maintain a comfortable environment during a hot two week period. The "lush and green" common area had multiple signs throughout the development to KEEP OFF GRASS. Our stay was from 6-8 to 6-23 and the pool was freezing cold and unusable. Neighbors confirmed that the pool would not warm up until the end of July or beginning of August. We did not use the spa. There was continuous construction on a first floor unit that led to a constant noisy environment. (This can happen anytime but we felt an obligation to mention it due to the age of the units.) In closing, both bedroom rugs had unsightly stains and the area rugs were filthy and in need of a deep cleaning.

Everything as decribed in the details. Would definately rent again. All tenents were very friendly. Wish I had an extra month to stay. I brought my small dog and enjoyed walks. She adapted well to the surroundings.

Great property, great management, great stay!

We can't say enough good things about our stay at this property! Having rented from VRBO several times, I knew what to expect.....but was very pleasantly surprised! This condo was the most well-appointed rental I have ever stayed in! We wanted for nothing! From cookware, drinkware, and utensils, to lotions, extra pillows and bluetooth speakers this place truly had it all! Everything was in terrific condition, no dull knives or worn out cookware, everything was top notch. Doug and Sarah were responsive, attentive, and flexible which made our stay a dream! They were able to accommodate some last minute changes, and really made the lodging aspect of our stressful trip a smooth and pleasurable experience. The location was perfect for visiting our family nearby, and everything is as pictured or better in-person. Every room was spotless, and smelled great, too! Linens and towels were soft, comfortable and felt luxurious. We did not get to use the pool or hot tub due to weather, but it looked like a great place to relax if the weather agrees. The beds and furniture were all super-comfortable, the environment pleasant, and the community was quiet and welcoming. Everyone was so friendly on our way in and out of the property each day. Highly recommend Sourdough Pizza right next door, so delicious! There were too many cute, welcoming touches to mention, but rest assured that your rental of this property will not disappoint! I wholeheartedly recommend this condo for rent, you truly can't go wrong! When we return to AZ, I'll be looking to rent it again, no question! Thank you Doug and Sarah for a great experience. Your property was a home-away-from-home for a very stressful trip, and provided a great respite at the end of some very hard days.
