Our bright and sunny interior features stunning furnishings and décor that draw you in for comfortable conversation, while the spacious lanai and pool invite you to relax, sun, and swim outside. The gourmet kitchen – complete with island, gas range, hood, and French door refrigerator – is perfect for preparing fresh local specialties, whether you buy local groceries or the pre-order add-on service and have them waiting for you when you arrive. It’s even equipped with the Coravin wine system, which allows you to draw single glasses of wine from multiple bottles at any time - without removing the corks and exposing the contents to the air.

Do laps in the full-size pool, whose blue water contrasts with the island’s warm natural landscape and the Eastern-lit sky. Enjoy rich, world-famous Kona coffee or evening cocktails on the lanai seating and dining areas. Stargaze while soaking in the bubbling hot tub, or push a button for vibrant pool lights, all powered by our green, eco-friendly Tesla Power Wall Battery pack and solar.

Within the spacious interior, you’ll find the Master Retreat only steps from the pool, spa, and lounging area. This luxurious suite is complete with a double vanity, marble shower, and outdoor lava rock changing area.

A second bedroom enjoys its own private entrance at the front of the house. A third bedroom gains its own direct access to the lanai, pool, and peak views, as well as its own changing alcove. Along with a fourth bedroom within the home, family or friends can have the added privacy of the Ohana suite - a fifth bedroom with its own entrance, bath, and seating area. With its private access from the driveway, this space offers both seclusion and a special peek of the ocean across the lava field.

Big Island perfect vacation spot

Great home for groups.

The overall stay was excellent. We enjoyed the back yard pool and bbq. The rooms provided plenty of space and bathrooms. Easy access from main highway and close to golf and shopping. Pictures were very accurate.

First family vaca with grandbabies

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Omg, where to start ! We had a party of ten, 6 adults , a 6 year old , a 8 year old and two babaies 13 months and 17 months . Mike , the manager had sent our emails out so everything was up and ready to begin our vaca the minute we got to the property . The Obama suite is a separate area from Rey of house and the oldest daughter and her husband and little one slept there , we had a Lucious master suite that opened to the pool and our Youngers and her family had the junior suite the kids all had their rooms and we a were up and ready for the first evening . The pool and spa were used 10 hours a day , the beaches and king shops and queen market were body a few minutes for groceries . The golf course was walkable , the area sunrise and sunset la were always favourite parts of our days . The few quarries we had , Mike was instantly responsive. We had a very late flight 1130 pm , then a delay so after midnight , after discussing with Mike a possible late check out , he gave us all evening until we needed to head to airport , giving us the nap times and supper with all of us and stress free of 12 hours of wondering g what to do . Mike is amazing , and so so much appreciated . The property , best ever close to everything away from bustle and close t beaches . I would so do this property again , the first family vaca with all the grandbabies was a hit and hope to someday return ...... I rate this a 10 out of ten

What a delight!

From the moment we stepped into this 5-bedroom paradise on the Big Island, we were blown away. With a group of seven, one might expect to feel a bit cramped, but not here. The spacious layout and thoughtful design made it feel like everyone had their own personal retreat. The cleanliness was impeccable. A great deal of care is taken to ensure guests feel comfortable and at home. Every detail was thought of – from a well-equipped kitchen to comfy linens, this house had everything we needed for our week-long stay. This is a special shout-out to Mike, the property manager. He was truly the icing on the cake. Always available, attentive, Mike made our stay even more memorable. His dedication to guest satisfaction is evident, and it’s managers like him that turn a great vacation into an unforgettable one. In summary, if you're seeking a blend of beauty, comfort, and top-notch service on the Big Island, look no further. This place is a gem, and we cannot recommend it enough! Another lovely stay

This is a beautiful house and setting. This house has everything you need. The kitchen has every gadget you need and plenty of room to cook. We woke up to the sunrise over the mountains. The pool and hot tub combo worked well for those times you did not want to venture out to one of several nearby beaches. Really we could not ask for anything more!

Family vacation

Excellent property. Perfect for a family group (we were 10 with 2 children and 2 toddlers. The pool was a highlight for the kids. I highly recommend staying here. The neighborhood is in the middle of a lava field. The yard is landscaped beautiful and it has a great view of Maura Kea.

Best Vacation Ever!

This property and the experience exceeded our expectations! We had a nice balance of a private pool and an amazing beach close by that we loved! Family vacation in Waikoloa

The house was great for our large family and we enjoyed our stay. With the layout, each couple and their children had their own space and bathrooms, and the kids had a great time with the pool. The house has lots of beach toys and chairs available for use, and the gym was very awesome. The only challenge was the management company's communication. When we first arrived, we couldn't find the pack and play that they said would be there (it turned out to be in the bottom of a bedroom closet), and the communication from the manager was prompt but a bit rude. The house also only provided enough toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels etc for about 3 days (we stayed a week). When I asked the manager if there were any extra available, I received a rude text that I should've read the check in instructions more closely and gone to Costco to buy these items on my way into town. I checked my email and had only an invitation to download a check-in app, which the manager said didn't have the right information and should be disregarded. I asked him to resend the email instructions, and never received them. Given the price of the rental, it seemed a bit petty to only leave a few rolls of toilet paper and other basic items and demand that renters go to Costco upon arrival.

Perfect Family/Group House!

Great house to meet up with family from Oregon and Colorado. The house fit us all well and Grandma enjoyed the Ohana suite! Having the pool out the back door was wonderful and the view out the back was especially amazing. Highly recommend!!

Terrific house

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was clean, very well maintained,and extremely well equipped. Communication etc was smooth and easy. Renters guide with pictures and explanation was great. The kitchen had everything. And all the kitchen pans utensils were top quality. Not what we usually get with rentals. Check in/out was super easy without a list of chores to do before leaving, which was great- that IS what the cleaning fee is for. Bedrooms and bathrooms were large, pool wonderful and the mini gym was awesome. One of the best rentals we’ve stayed in and we travel several times a year for many years. Highly recommend.

This property is outstanding! It is well stocked, thoughtfully equipped and sufficiently spacious for a party of 6 adults plus a 1 year. The property manager was super responsive and helpful. This is one of "the best" VRBO's we have stayed and likely we will be back!

A family retreat!

My family of 6 adults & 4 young boys had an amazing week. The house surpassed my expectations…fully equipped kitchen, linens, abundance of beach towels, games, beach boards & toys, salt water pool, huge family room area., super clean house. Check in & out was a breeze. Ohana was a plus, but a small fridge in it would be nice. Beautiful sunsets every evening. We loved our week at Ainamalu

Fantastic property

This was one of the nicest properties we've ever rented, and we have been using VRBO regularly for about 10 years. Well stocked on all the essentials (kitchen, linens, paper products, etc). The home was perfect for us. The balance of public and private spaces allowed for personal downtime and family connecting time. Workout equipment was used daily. The well maintained lanai and pool also played an important part. The view of the mountains is absolutely stunning and spiritual. The home is immaculate! Spotless! Thoughtfulness to the occupants is everywhere from the generous welcome gift of local cookies, coffee and hand written note, to the aesthetic labels and instructions and to the generous stocking of the kitchen and laundry. The manager and owner were beyond responsive and gracious!We frequented the nearby beautiful beaches, local deli, and the resort hotel. There were day trips to Hilo and the National Volcano Park and Costco Target Walmart runs for our kitchen/grilling escapades and sundries. Each day was perfectly capped off by retreating back to a beautiful home base! We will go back again and would highly recommend this home to family and friends.
