Soak in the serene views of the surrounding landscaped areas from the large outdoor deck, and find complete relaxation in 840 square feet of living space.

The beach is located just a few steps away, allowing you to easily swim, sunbathe, and take long walks on the sand. This central location is ideal for walking and riding bikes around Wild Dunes, or heading a quarter-mile up the road to the Wild Dunes Harbor Golf Course for a fun round of golf with friends and family. The downtown area of Isle of Palms is four miles west, where you can eat, shop, and listen to live music. Downtown Charleston is just 17 miles inland as well, and is home to some of the most renowned cuisine in the country.

Great location, but property needs attention.

The property needs an upgrade. Anyone walking in unit above sounds like they’ll fall thru the floor. The picture is deceiving, as it’s not the building near the pool. It is a great location.

Nice, pleasant stay close to beach!

For our first time in SC I wasnt sure what we were getting but this place seemed like it was in a nice place and close to the beach. It is in a gated community near a golf course and a little bike rental place as well as the clean beach. The pool was clean and easy to find. I would stay here again.

Wild Dunes beach Condo

Condo picture on VRBO is not the condo you rent! Arrived Sunday afternoon, Cable and Internet were down. Real hasel between VRBO and Vacasa the the condo management company. Transfered multiple times and multiple days between Vacasa local office and HQ office. Issue not fixed for 2 days! Not the way I want to spend my vacation! Condo bed was terrible, bathroom old and needs work, AC return vent was filthy! Overall condo is in need of deep cleaning and upgrade. We will not go back.

Awesome Beach Access

The property was very clean upon entry. It's a little dated especially the bathroom, but overall nice and roomy, which I really appreciated. We cooked there several nights and appreciated that there was silverwear, plates, and come cooking utensils. Like many reviewers said, the bed really needs to be replaced which is why I gave the overall score of 4 stars. The bed was lumpy, squeeky, and just overall uncomfortable.

Close to Beach

I liked the fact that this unit was so walkable to the beach. I loved the tree views from the generous sized balcony. The unit itself is very dated with bare bones minimal in supplies and furnishings. No updates made since it was built. It was a short visit so it was fine and it was clean but owners really need to spring for some kitchen and bathroom updating. Will revisit the area but not this unit.

extremely filthy. Someone used the restroom and i guess thought it was funny not to flush such a gross mess. Everything we touched was dirty. I can't wait to blog about this mess. My wife was cleaning all day you should be ashamed and refund us- Terrible

A wonderful spot for a couple's weekend getaway.

A great location just feet from the beach. The property was very clean and a great layout for 2 people. The bathroom is dated but otherwise very comfortable.

Great stay!

Perfect location. Very clean. An adequate amount of room to spread out for me, my husband and teen even though just a one bed room. Could use some updating .. but worked out great! I would stay in this until again.

As cited previously, this is not a picture that could have been taken from this unit. There are large trees in front of this specific unit. There was a faulty outlet in the entrance way that had tripped the lights in the kitchen. We reported it the first day and it was not addressed. The bathroom and kitchen could use some updates. The living area was comfortable. The mattress needs to be replaced. The unit was clean

First the condo shown in the photo is not the photo of this unit, it’s a photo of an oceanfront unit. Second if you read some of the other reviews in which Vacasa states they have address these problems. They have not, we had same issues as reviewers over a month ago. Pros: it’s close to the beach Cons: Less than 1/2 the outlets were in working order, plugs just fall out of many, impossible to use and others didn’t work at all. The WiFi signal was not strong enough to stream on the Roku devices added to the televisions. The comforter on the bed was threadbare and the sheets were so so rough I at first thought there was sand in the bed. The closet was used as storage so no place to put our things, not that we could have used it anyway since the door was 1/2 off it’s track. The kitchen appliances were extremely outdated, there was a dirty pan in the oven, no potholders, and the utensil holders had what looked like shrimp shells in them, which was easy to see because there were very few utensils. The bathroom was dingy and the sink was extremely low. The laundry area was also used as storage and the washer was so dirty with rust and possibly mold that I couldn’t imagine it getting anything clean. The metal outlet in the floor was rusted and sticking up from the floor, be sure to get a tetanus shot if you plan to stay here but hey, it actually worked. There were 2 wasp nests on the deck, not that we wanted to sit out there since the view is of a wooded area, not the sea oats shown in the photo. If you are expecting to stay in a lovely Wild Dunes condo, keep looking, this isn’t it.

Overall a good experience; however the sink/garbage disposal had a smell like old shrimp shells . This was particularly noticeable when using the kitchen sink. VACASA tried to schedule a dishwasher repair during my stay and I had to call them and have that cancelled. I feel that they should have made it known if repairs to the unit were scheduled prior to my booking.

Nice location, decor and appliances very outdated

This place had a wonderful location and a quiet community. The dishwasher is on its last legs. Other appliances and decor of the place really shows its age and wear.

IOP Experience

Nice condo but dated furnishings. Floors were not clean when we arrived, particularly under the bed. 1 roll of TP !?! On final day, as we were loading the car, the keypad failed (batteries) so we were locked out until maintenance tech arrived 40 minutes later.

Great place!

This place was very comfortable and clean! Only complaint was the TV in the bedroom didn’t work and bed wasn’t super comfy. But other than that, everything else was fine. Would stay again!
