About this property

Endless Sunsets at Secluded Dunes!! Elevator! Dog Friendly Gulf View - SPECIALS!

Welcome to Endless Sunsets in the exclusive gated community of Secluded Dunes! This property is new to the rental market in 2021 and has everything you need for a perfect beach vacation! Recently updated with new Cortec floors upstairs, exterior & interior painting, the home has 3 bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths, a huge great room, a loft area and an elevator to make carrying in suitcases and supplies a breeze! High speed, fiber optic internet has been added with 1G capability, too, making internet entertainment, games, or the need to catch up on work, a breeze! Even the coffee maker has been updated and ready for you to share your morning coffee with the sunrise!

There are two decks that face the gulf and each one is almost 500 square feet! Watching sunsets will quickly become your favorite pastime here! Each of the two decks have a swingbed with a mountain of pillows to kick back and enjoy a beverage and re-connect! Two more smaller decks face the bay/protected wetlands for your morning sunrise. The parking under the house is huge (enough for 6 vehicles/boat trailers and there is a large storage room with a half bath. There you will find a ping pong table and foosball table, just in case there is an occasional rainy day! Either can be used outside under the carport, too.

There are two master suites that face the gulf upstairs, each with king beds and access to the huge upper deck with views that will amaze! Both master suites have large walk in, glass door showers and lots of storage cabinets/shelves. The upper level also contains a loft area, with small deck facing the bay, games, a TV and a queen size sleeper sofa, and a full size laundry room.

On the main living level, the huge great room is an open island kitchen/dining/living room, with room for you to spread out and enjoy each other's company! There is a 58" TV, a queen sleeper Crate & Barrel sofa, a Pottery Barn "Toscana" dining table/chairs that seats up to 10, a cozy seating area with rocker gliders and a large fully stocked kitchen! The island kitchen also features 4 bar stools to keep the cook company or just grab breakfast before the beach! Through two separate 10' sliding doors, the entire living area has access to the huge lower deck, complete with high top chairs and a propane grill! Pull up a barstool around the kitchen island, or grab a glider and have your coffee in the morning or a cocktail at night, and when the day is drawing to a close, hang out to watch the spectacular sunset! The views are amazing!

We provide starter supplies of toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap and bath amenities. We do not provide beach towels or beach umbrellas, but there are beach chairs, and a beach cart available for you. There is a dedicated beach access boardwalk across the dunes. As beautiful as the views are, this property is not a gulf front property, but rather across the street inside Secluded Dunes. The boardwalk beach access for the property is a new beach boardwalk that is adjacent to the Secluded Dunes neighborhood gate. It goes from the road, between two houses, and up and down over the large dunes. It is about a 5 minute walk to the sand.

Wonderful family vacation

We stayed for an extended weekend and enjoyed the house. The elevator was very nice for unloading and loading. Plenty of nice blankets and the beds were comfortable. The beach access was a little tough with the stairs if you have a lunch of stuff to carry but overall very nice place.

Annual CSB 2023

The property was perfect for our multi family group! The kitchen was well equipped! We love the location! The beds were comfy! The host was always quick to respond to any questions I had prior to our stay! The views in the evening from the top deck were beautiful! No complaints at all!!!

Very nice property, beautiful setting

We enjoyed the layout very much for hanging out in the main room. The porches were lovely facing the gulf; and really enjoyed the small porches facing the marsh & bay. Everything worked well. One minor issue getting the locks to work was answered quickly by managers. Would definitely rent this property again. Everything worked great in the kitchen. Nice appliances. The mattresses were super comfortable. Also, decorated very nicely.

Great spot in Cape San Blas!

Loved this house! We traveled with two other couples and our two dogs and the house was spacious and had everything needed to enjoy our stay. The elevator was great option versus using the stairs. It's a short walk down the street to the beach access, but we practically had the beach to ourselves. The outdoor shower is great after the beach and there was plenty of storage for chairs and wagons. We bought shrimp and grouper from the market down the street to grill for dinner. Highly recommend Joe Mama's Wood Fired Kitchen in Port St. Joe as well.

Nice property

Construction on nearby home during Christmas week was painful, access to boardwalks to beach would be rough in the summer time. Otherwise beautiful home, clean and stocked. Communication fast and professional.

Gorgeous Sunsets

We were so pleased with this rental property. It was better than expected! It has a huge kitchen that is well stocked. The beds and linens are so comfortable! We slept great! The laundry room is upstairs which makes doing the laundry easy. For being a first tier house you still get a great view of the setting sun. We also enjoyed watching all of the surfers when the large waves came in this past weekend. This is a lovely house and would highly recommend.

February beach stay

Great stay in the “off season.” Very rainy and sandy, road to access house was tricky. Beautiful home and lovely view of beach with beach access. Highly recommend the trip to Apalachicola. Cute downtown with shops and more restaurant offerings. Oyster City Brewing was a highlight. We brought kids bikes and had two adult bikes rented and delivered via San Flea Rentals. Great option to get out and explore a bit. Biggest downside of stay was spotty internet access (satellite). It would be nice to see a guest book or some personal recommendations written out as I’ve experienced in other VRBO stays. Despite only a couple sunny days of cooler weather mixed with rainy days, it was just what our family needed.

Very beautiful

This property is very well furnished and arranged. The layout is wide open and the furnishings are perfect. The kitchen is well stocked with many types of appliances should you want to create masterpieces. We just loved our stay. We didn’t have any issues or difficulties. Any questions we had prior or upon arrival were promptly answered. The location is superb. Easy beach access is right down the the street. The elevator was great for hauling our bulky stuff up and down. We used stairs as well for exercise. At night the frogs/cicadas/ducks or whatever were quite talkative. We loved that plus hearing and seeing the Gulf. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Cape Life the week of Hurricane Sally

The house was very nice and well appointed, and overall solid. We spent a lot of time inside due to bad weather (lots of wind and rain, 20 inches). It’s good the kitchen was well stocked, as we cooked frequently. We did venture out to Indian Pass and Apalachicola. TV reception was poor at times. There was some water damage in the small bedroom. I called and text the number available and she acknowledged, but no one came to check it out. The view was good, but beach access was fair. Fortunately our last 2 days were awesome beach days! Thanks for the use of your wagon and umbrella.

Nice house, tough walk to the beach.

The house is very convenient and nicely laid out. The elevator is a lifesaver for bringing up luggage and supplies although the outer door keypad needs some attention. WiFi was super, kitchen was outstanding! Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were clean and spacious. The only downside is the walk to the beach and the view from the porches. The walk to the beach is a little more than was let on in the description. Both "boardwalks" were mostly stairs and narrow stairs at that. A beachcart was quite an undertaking to navigate through to the beach. A small family wouldn't be a problem but with the size of this house and number of guest it accomodates there was quite a load to take and return from the beach on the afformentioned stair paths. The porches although large and comfortable on the Gulf side pretty much all that can be seen are the back side of the beachfront houses, a peak here and there of the ocean if you looked carefully but you're not gonna see the famous CSB sunsets from them. Overall a nice place but the description of the beach access and views are slightly exaggerated. The house itself gets 5 stars, I'd rate the neighborhood, beach access and views at a 3...

Fall Bicycling Getaway

First time visit to cape san blas and chose the Secluded Dunes neighborhood at the recommendation from a friend. November is the quiet season as the gulf temps start to cool down so beach swimming can be curtailed. The quiet season also sees short lines at Weber’s Donuts!! Hurricane Nicole delayed our arrival from Jacksonville by a day but we were able ti get in days of bicycling in St Joseph park and down the dedicated bike path on the Cape. Weather was too windy for boats in the bay so will save that for another trip. Lunching in Port St Joe and Appalachicola were easy day trips. Would recommend bringing food for stay at home dinners to save the drive to the mainland and to allow you to enjoy the sunsets on your porch. The home is well provisioned and the appliances are top of the line. there were a few items to bring with you (in addition to what is noted on the rental instructions (brung your own soap, shampoo and kleenex) There was only one dish towel and there was no dish cloth to wipe down the counters. We did have handiwipes in our travel kit. Also the only missing kitchen item was measuring cups but you can improvise. Two full King master bedrooms on the top floor with a full porch were spectacular. The main living area and third queen bedroom/bathroom also had the same large porch. The large storage room next to the under the house parking was a perfect place to Keep our bicycles. A great house for a family or for couples.

Good times

Property needs a bit of maintenance but the essentials met our needs. Living space was perfect for gathering with family and the dogs. Kitchen very well stocked. A bit of a walk to the beach access points however, the included beach cart helped to ease the process.

Our vacation was an absolute BLAST!!! This house fit all of our needs!!! The distance to the beach was very manageable. The elevator within the home was priceless when packing and unpacking. The amount and variety of small appliances were great! Beds were very comfortable! The porch swings were a great addition to the porches! The Cape in 2022

Endless Sunsets was a beautiful home, the decorations, furniture and home layout were a perfect match to our personality, beach lovers. The furniture and beds were very comfortable. The Kitchen was expertly stocked, and the two balconies were great for relaxing and enjoying a evening cocktail. The upscaled and gated neighborhood of Secluded Dunes is at the end of the Cape, just before the state park. The beaches are not crowded and long walks are encouraged. This is a popular area and construction is going in all over Cape San Blas. New homes, being constructed on the street, will have workers present most days. Usually peace and tranquility returns in the early evenings. I would recommend this home to friends and we will probably return in the near future. Again, the home was beautiful and very comfortable.
