About this property

Oceanfront Beachdrifter - 2/2 Condo with lawn - no stairs, best parking

This is one of two oceanfront ground floor condos at The Beachdrifter which open to a lawn, pool, pergola and, of course, the beach, which is just over the dunes. We love our condos (VRBO # 1899645 and # 1125777) here because they are on the beach and we don't need to go up and down stairs or wait for a cramped, hot elevator. Our parking spots are closest to the doors and these condos open to the lawn.

Please note: the higher dunes still allow you to hear the crashing surf and see some ocean, but we can no longer see the waves break on the beach. We still love the convenience of parking next to the door (the closest spot) and walking right into the condo.

Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a king bed, two twins, and a full sofa sleeper, and everything you need for a vacation at the beach. We keep sand castle gear, beach chairs, beach towels, a sun umbrella, etc. And we can provide a pack-and-play upon request for your little ones.

We also have fast wi-fi, streaming TVs, an Apple computer with 27-inch display, wireless music, and more.

We accept dogs on a case-by-case basis for $29 per pet per night. And we have a short pet agreement for you to sign. Please note that the building does not allow pets to enter the common lawn and pool area.

Finally, we pride ourselves in working hard to provide the best service and support to our guests as we know how important it is for you to have a wonderful experience during your stay. You will find that we are quick to respond to questions and prompt with follow-up to any needs you have before, during and after your trip. Spring Break

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful condo. The location was excellent! The condo was well-appointed with everything we could possibly need. The host and hostess were most accommodating. Our grandchildren loved the pool being right outside our door. We look forward to returning soon!

Awesomeness

The weather was perfect for the perfect vacation rental. Home is beautiful and laid out nicely. The condo had all amenities needed to enjoy the beach, pool , cooking , sleeping. Max and Sara are excellent hosts and took very good care of me and my family. Thank you so very much!! I will stay again when I come in the summer!! I am going to try and make this my place each visit.

Great Stay at a Great Location!

Our family of four had a great stay at the condo. The owners went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed for our vacation and made check in / check out very simple. The condo was very well equipped and very clean. On top of that, the location is perfect, just steps from the beach and centrally located with respect to all types of dinning options and fun activities. We will definitely stay here again!

Great location, nice accommodations

Stayed for five days to visit elementary school friends ( now 74 years young). Love the condo and location to the beach. Rode our bikes around town which was fun with little traffic. The garbage disposal sprang a leak while we were there owners called a plumber right away was very responsive. Would rent again.

Orange You Happy Condo - Fantastic Experience

Our stay at Orange You Happy Condo was fantastic! The hosts were above accomodating. The condo had every luxury needed and beyond. Our family was very comfortable and enjoyed the close access to the beach and pool. Being on the ground level and having every necessity provided made our beach days fun, relaxing and memorable. For all these reasons, we highly recommend Orange You Happy Condo and we look forward to staying next year.

Fantastic condo right on the beach. The owners keep it extremely clean and are very good about responding quickly. Very easy check in and check out. The condo has everything you need, including beach chairs, umbrellas, and beach towels. Fantastic stay that we highly recommend!

Easy and relaxed

No steps is HUGE when you are carrying beach gear, have children or walking issues. We have a little swimmer and being able to open the patio door then watch them walk a few steps to the pool was WONDERFUL! I would rather see a peak of water through the beautiful dunes than take stairs. Great neighborhood, clean beach and pier is nearby. We would stay again.

Great location and amazing hospitality!!!

This was our first family vacation with our one year old so I wanted something that would be able to accommodate him. This property was perfect! It’s within walking distance to the beach, the condo parking is right in front of the entrance and being on the ground floor by the pool and grassy area for him to play was exactly what we needed! The condo itself is nice and clean with large smart TVs that have all your streaming apps. They have a fully loaded kitchen with all the necessities and they also have everything you need for the beach and pool! This included nice, thick beach towels, beach chairs, a tent, beach umbrella, pool toys and beach toys! There is a washer and dryer and they have laundry pods and dishwasher pods for the dishwasher, which was also very nice to have. This condo is pet friendly but you wouldn’t know by looking at it because there are no remnants of dogs in there. This was the perfect condo for our vacay but one of the greatest experiences was the hospitality the owners extended. They were able to accommodate an early check in and late check out. They were very quick in their responses and so helpful with any questions I had. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Jacksonville!

Nice proximity to the beach

We really enjoyed our walks on the beach. The amenities in the kitchen made cooking for the family an easy task. Excellent restaurants are close by if you like to dine out! And our hosts were very responsive for gyrations and assistance. I’d come back again!

Five Star Stay at the Orange Condo

Wonderful stay at the Orange Condo on the beach. Convenient location to many restaurants and attractions. The condo is clean, comfortable, well furnished and has a great parking spot. The property managers were terrific to work with. Special memories in a special place. We would highly recommend the Orange Condo!

Money well spent

I can say without a doubt that our stay was one of the most pleasant I've ever had. I've booked a lot of vacations and rarely have I ever experienced a stay that exceeded all expectations. The condo was beautiful. The location was perfect. The hosts answered all of our questions and they treated us with a kindness that is very difficult to come across. I've owned a business for 41 years so I know about customer satisfaction. I will tell anybody that the hosts truly care.. Its a wonderful feeling when you lay down your hard earned money and come away feeling very good about spending it. I want to thank the hosts again for the way we were treated. They are obviously very proud of the condo and they should be. I tip my hat to them. If that condo is available and you want a great beach stay don't hesitate to book it.

Near the beach

Loved being so close to the beach, Just walked around the building and up the ramp. Very convenient. The apartment was adequate, two bedrooms and two baths. Everything was there to cook, washer and dryer., TV, pool outback and deck chairs. Also chairs and equipment for the beach. Very enjoyable time.

Great Location and So Comfy!

My husband, teen daughter, and her friend stayed in Sara and Max’s “Orange You Happy” condo this week, and we couldn’t have asked for a better location or for more comfortable accommodations. The condo is just as described, with the well-maintained pool only a few feet away and beach access very close as well. The beds were so cozy. And I love the ground-floor access, with parking right at the door. Sara was easy to communicate with and so quick to respond to a question. A great host! Will definitely stay here again next time we come to Jax beach! .

Wonderful Stay - everything we needed

We had a fabulous time. Condo was exactly as listed with everything we could possibly need already there! Plenty of pillows and blankets (which I am one that sleeps with at least 3 and was so happy to see all the pillows). Owners made sure condo was cooled off before our arrival and we’re very helpful in any questions we had during our stay. Would love to stay again in the future!

Max loves his work as a US Navy Reservist. He also is a technology consultant and current law student.

Sara spent over a decade in the global hospitality business, creating high end guest experiences in the corporate world. So, rest assured, we know how important excellent customer service is! Sara also has a coaching and consulting business.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with this condo the moment we first visited. In addition to loving the condo itself, we couldn't have picked a better location. Not only is it oceanfront with amazing ocean sounds and breezes, it's right in the heart of Jax Beach and within walking distance to many popular attractions and restaurants. We also love the expansive beach right behind the property - perfect for morning walks, all-day play, water sports and a short walk to the Jacksonville Beach pier.

You won't want to miss the stunning sunrise from condo's back patio. Our favorite thing is to watch the sunrise there with a cup of coffee. It's also a great spot to wind down in the evenings. And, of course, the building's pool is just steps away from the patio. We love an afternoon swim with the sounds of the waves in the background!

What makes this property unique

Ground floor unit means no elevators, easy luggage in and out, you can still see the ocean, and you have direct access to the lawn and pool. We are also provide plenty of beach gear (towels, beach chairs, beach umbrella) and a fully equipped kitchen so that you can feel right at home.
