Southern Star Ranch is a beautiful ranch home surrounded by 15 acres high on top of a hill. The house is made of limestone rock that was brought in from Austin during construction. The home has 3 bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths and an executive office. The backyard is a country oasis that includes a large pool with rocks and waterfall and an outdoor covered entertainment and cooking pavilion. Covered porches with scenic views wrap around all sides of the house. The property also has a large fire pit near the pool and house. Kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, silverware, pots and pans. The property is fenced and has an automatic entrance gate. Gas and charcoal grills available for guests to use. Direct TV, outdoor TV, large TV's inside. Washer and dryer. This home is the perfect getaway from the city. Come enjoy peace of mind and country life at its finest.

Southern 5-Star Ranch

Absolutely beautiful backyard with scenic view, pool, fire pit, grill and smoker. House was so clean and comfortable. Amazing beds and huge kitchen. Very convenient to Houston area or Brenham area. Easy to find but set aside in the quiet country. We will stay again!

Beautiful and tranquil

The home is on a beautiful piece of land. It sits back off of the road like an estate. It had everything we needed. We enjoyed early mornings drinking coffee on the pool deck. We even seen a deer! Would definitely recommend. The host was so kind and accommodating. 5 out of 5 stars

Grandma trip

This is our third visit to this amazing property. Have traveled here with friends in past but this time brought 11 year old grand daughter. We had a great time. Wonderful views great pool and lots of fun. Great host and hostess . This is a great place to stay and we travel allot.

Absolutely Wonderful!

We had a great stay. The property is absolutely beautiful, and just secluded enough to be extraordinarily peaceful. The host was an absolute pleasure, very easy to communicate with. Her mother met us to show us around, and she was a total sweetheart. The home was immaculate! The home, the property and even every single dish and utensil. We’ve stayed at a lot of B-n-B properties, this was the cleanest by far. We would absolutely stay here again! We can’t wait until our travels bring us back to the Houston area!

Roundtop trip!

What a wonderful vacation we had at this home. The area is quiet and beautiful, the house was big enough for 4 adults and 3 teenagers. The property is close enough to Roundtop that you can shop all day then come relax at the house. If we ever come back to the area, we would for sure stay at this property again.

Leadership Retreat

We love this place! This home is absolutely beautiful. We were met by the Owner's mom who was the absolute sweetest. She gave us a tour of the property and how everything works. We held a Leadership Retreat for our Leadership Team for the Black Heritage Committee of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.The amenities and space were perfect. We will definitely be back with our family. The home was clean and if you forgot anything, trust me they have it! Thank you for an amazing weekend!

We were in town for a baseball tournament and this house was almost exactly right in the middle of the two locations we had to play at. House was a great place to unwind between games.

Fabulous

This is our second stay at Southern Star. We had an amazing time again. The home is spotless. The pool and outdoor kitchen area is spectacular. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to have a fun and relaxing time away from home. It is a five-star property.

What an amazing property. My brother and I flew in for a family function. We were greeted by Madeline, who was great and gave us a quick tour of the property and made us feel welcome. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you may need for your stay. We found ourselves spending most of the time we were at the property in the outdoor space, the pool and outdoor kitchen are amazing.

Best Friendcation Ever

For the past 4 years the 5 of us get together and have a friendcation and this has been our favorite place by far. Ben and Davon are very nice and helpful and the property is absolutely beautiful. The pool was great to hang out by especially with the hot weather. We highly recommend this property and will definitely be back.

Relaxing get away

This property was awesome for getting some relaxation away from daily stress of work and commuting. The pool was beautiful! I loved the waterfall. It gave the backyard a tranquil feeling. The house was beautiful and stayed cool during the 100+ temps. The kitchen was fully functional and had everything we needed for a 5 day stay. Owners were quick to respond to the questions I had. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Our 2nd stay here with a party of 5 adults. We love it! Get all your groceries and supplies before you arrive. Then once you are here there I'd no need to leave! Choice of gas grill or wood burning bbq pit , nice spacious pool , views every where you look, a pond with a fountain, nice spacious porches and on and on.
