About this property

Nice home located close to all the city's festivals and events. The home sits in a quiet neighborhood by UNO and Dillard university. There's a couple of restaurants and grocery stores within a 2 mile radius. The community is uber, lift and transit transportation friendly. Older home with great character. A good spot to experience all the things the city has to offer. Very close to the festivities.

A very good place to stay

This place was nice and quiet. The neighbor was friendly and the accommodation were good as advertised. Centrally located to where you need to go. We will definitely be back and hope this comfortable place is available again. There were minor cosmetic repairs that were needed but nothing major that prevented a great trip and stay. Worth the price

Weekend getaway!

The house was close by the vicinity and easily accessible to all the city has to offer! Neighborhood was safe and very welcoming! Will definitely book here again!

Vacay stay

Located in a quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors and close to downtown and the French Quarter but definitely need a car to get there. Would be a great place to stay with the following improvements: wash the area rugs, they were filthy. The bed in the guest room needs sheets that won't pop off the mattress when your sleeping and the windows need both curtain panels on each window for full coverage, not just one panel per window. More wash cloths. There were only 3. Also needs a dish cloth and dish towels and get rid of the used sponge. And bathroom vent was caked with dust snd dirt. The window AC was dirty and the covering was broken.

To the zoo to the zoo

Short 30 minutes away from zoo. Allowed us to take children to zoo, and get home early enough to cook supper, bath and sleep. Perfect location.

Don’t go there

House was not suitable for rental. Dead roaches on the floor. The house structure was disastrous to say the least. The televisions were inoperable. The bathroom was below standards to say the least. My overall rating for this rental is poor and I say again don’t go there.

Expected better

Prior to my stay I was able to communicate with the property owner about my trip. I requested and early check in because my flight landed early a d the owner was very hospitable and allowed us to do so. I will say the owner seems to be very nice however the property was subpar. A towel hung in the window as a curtain, there was warping in the floor, dead critters on the floor and in the kitchen drawers, and was partially cleaned. The living room couches leather is peeling and looks warn out. I was under the assumption that there were 3 working televisions in the unit. Upon arrival I realized there were 2 televisions which only 1 worked. There was also numerous outlets that were non functional. I believe the unit will work for someone who is literally showering and sleeping however for someone who plans on relaxing and spending a little time in while in NOLA this would not be the right fit. Again, the owner appears to be quite pleasant and because of that I felt surprised at the upkeep and the quality of the rental.
