“Cayman Palms” is a lovely Caribbean inspired beach cottage located in the exclusive gated community of Destiny West. Directly across from the Gulf of Mexico and James Lee Wayside Park. Cayman Palms is just 100 yards to the private clubhouse pool and hot tub and an additional 250 yards to the pristine white sand beach.

This two story beach cottage has master bedrooms on the first and second floors. The queen master is located on the first floor and has a separate entrance from the outside The top floor king master suite has a private balcony , full bath with separate shower and Jacuzzi tub , and a large walk-in closet The 'kid's room' has two twin beds, private bath, and a entertainment center equipped with a TV, stereo. The living room, dining room and kitchen overlook one another providing the ideal setting for family fun and entertainment. Outback there is a large furnished covered patio with ceiling fans and an open patio with shower and BBQ.


Destiny West is one the most sought after vacation home communities on the Gulf. Gated and featuring large and luxurious homes, this community is perfect for those who want to enjoy a luxury lifestyle while vacationing on the Emerald Coast of Florida. Imagine a lovely neighborhood nestled between Lake Destiny and Sunset Lake directly across from the Gulf. The Destiny Yacht Club is an owner's clubhouse with a fully equipped workout room, tennis/basketball court, meeting areas, and kitchen, as well as restroom and shower facilities for the pool. A dramatic waterfall cascades into the 30’ by 75’ swimming pool. The club's spacious patios and outdoor grill provide a lovely setting for entertaining.

Destiny Home also enjoys easy access to James Lee Wayside Park, with its outstanding public beach facilities including board walk, dune walkovers, restrooms, showers, covered picnic areas, and life guards, While you are there, enjoy a view of the Gulf with lunch or dinner at one of the area's most popular waterfront restaurants, The Crab Trap or watch the spectacular sunsets from the beach bar.

Home away from home
This was our second time staying in this house and we will be back again and again. It’s perfect for our family and the location is great. There are so many perks to staying here like the toiletries and the beach gear that are provided for convenience. The host communicates very well and is always available if you need anything. We look forward to our next stay.

Beautiful Property and Location
Beautiful 2 storey home that is well maintained with pride of ownership and nestled in an upscale gated community. The house features three large bedrooms with three attached 3 piece bathrooms, large kitchen with eat-in bar top, large living room with kickout seating and big screen smart TV, 12’ ceilings on both levels, front balcony off the primary bedroom, and a private backyard patio with lots of seating and a BBQ. Short walk to the gated clubhouse with heated pool, hottub, gym, and outdoor courts. Or carry on to the fluffy white sand coastline and a beachfront restaurant. Short drive to all amenities and other activities. The property owner-manager was excellent in both communicating and taking extra steps to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Our first visit to the Destin area and we very much enjoyed.

Among the best properties we’ve stayed at in Destin. We rented here 4 years ago, and were not disappointed this season (2024). Has been kept just as nice as we remembered from last stay. Would definitely rent here if in Destin again.

One of my favorite VRBO stays! This house has everything- great location, super clean and stocked with all the things you might need (including beach towels toys & chairs). Choe-Kelly helped make the check in/out process a breeze. The cookies and fresh flowers were a sweet and thoughtful surprise that were much appreciated. I will definitely book again on our next trip to Destin.

The house was amazing, it had everything you could possibly need, so well organized, and I had instant communication access to the owner which made everything so stress free. We were minutes from the pool, gym, and beach. And it was so peaceful at night. No road noise, loud music or cars. If you want a peaceful stay at the beach in Destin this is your place

Property was perfect for our week stay with my family of 5. Great setup being so close to the beach and community pool! The host was very communicative and accommodating, check in was simple and convenient! The house was clean, comfortable and had everything you would need for your stay, including beach toys, towels and chairs which was greatly appreciated! We greatly enjoyed the backyard setup- nice table and grill. Details were not overlooked as the host has organized the house well for guests! Would definitely like to stay here again!
