Hi Gigi, we felt very good in this house, only in the kitchen failed many things. But although I thank you very much for the CDs. My favorite is the trio from Philippe Sellam - very good jazz, my music at all. You are very nice and with patience to my technical defects. Excuse my englisch and my french to. It's soch a nice place, this Ferme Grestain, and in the future I will find it with pleasure and without yor help, I suggest, I hope so. Cordialement Eva

Centraal gelegen

Hobbelige toegangsweg. Wij waren met 4 volwassenen. Geen eettafel alleen een klein bartafeltje in de keuken. Slaapkamers boven alleen buitenom te bereiken. Dit kan heel onhandig zijn als je bv met kinderen bent. Dithad op de site vermeld moeten staan. Weinig serviesgoed, dan heb je niet zoveel profijt van de vaatwasser. Lakens op de bedden roken muf. De verwarming was goed en ook de badkamers. Veel ruimte om het huis. Wij waren in de herfst maar voor de zomer zijn er geen makkelijke tuinstoelen. Het huis lag gunstig voor de diverse leuke plaatsen zoals Honfleur, Deauville, Trouville en Pont Audemer. Er was geen informatiemap in het huis. Wij hebben een leuke week gehad ook omdat we mooi weer hadden.

Idyllisches Häuschen im Grünen

Wir haben zwei Wochen in Grestain verbracht und jede Minute davon genossen. Gigi und Pascal sind sehr nett und geben einem gerne Tipps für Ausflüge und Aktivitäten in der Umgebung. In der sehr individuell eingerichteten Unterkunft gibt es viel zu entdecken. Auch für Kinder ist das schön. Man braucht ein wenig bis man sich an das Leben in einem normannischen chaumière gewöhnt hat. Aber die tolle Lage, der idyllische Garten und der Charme der Unterkunft an sich helfen einem dabei. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ferienhaus im Paradies

Wir haben im August knapp 2 Wochen als vierköpfige Familie in diesem bezaubernden Ferienhaus verbracht. Besonders begeistert hat uns die Lage inmitten von neun Hektar Wald, Wiese und schön gestaltetem Garten mit Teich. Msn fühlte sich auf der Ferme de Grestain tatsächlich wie im Paradies. Das Haus ist individuell und praktisch eingerichtet. Besonders im oberen Stockwerk gibt es viele liebevolle Kleinigkeiten zu entdecken. Mit 2 Duschbädern und insgesamt drei Schlafzimmern bietet das Haus relativ viel Platz, aber keinen separaten Essbereich für mehrere Personen, Bei gutem Wetter lässt sich hervorragend auf einer der zwei Terrassen speisen - mit wunderschönen Blick auf den Park. Gigi und Pascal sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Uns wurde jeder Wunsch erfüllt. Wir haben einen schönen Abend mit ihnen genossen und mehr über die Geschichte dieses tollen Ortes erfahren. Wer individuelle Orte mit Charakter liebt, wird sich in diesem Ferienhaus sehr wohlfühlen. Danke für die schönen Sommertage.

Location ne répond pas au niveau de qualité attendu au regard du prix Accès aux chambres du premier étage par un escalier extérieur ,pas de lave linge ,pas de table pour manger hormis une petite table avec une petite rallonge dans la cuisine qui ne permet pas vu la petite taille de la cuisine d’y manger à 4 et une table basse dans le lieu salon par ailleurs assez petit .Par ailleurs la maison et surtout la cuisine n’était pas propre j’ai faire le ménage dès notre installation Enfin la propriétaire n’est pour le moins pas professionnelle

Parel in Normandië

We hebben genoten van het sfeervolle huis en het mooie landgoed er omheen. De hostes was erg vriendelijk en gezellig. Jammer dat er geen plaats was voor een eethoek in de woonkamer. Die hebben we wel gemist. Het serviesgoed en keukengerei vooral de pannen, waren matig tot slecht. Ook de matrassen van sommige bedden vertoonde ouderdomsgebreken.

Sfeervol huisje in het bos

Het is een leuk, sfeervol vakwerkhuisje op een mooi landgoed vlakbij Honfleur. Heel erg rustig, prachtig groen met vijver en fontein. Er waren 3 ruime slaapkamers, goede bedden. In de keuken was bijna alles aanwezig, gemist werden wat kleinere pannetjes en schaaltjes. Maar met wat improvisatie komt het allemaal goed!

Une belle pause dans la campagne normande

Très beau domaine. La maison, typique est bien équipée, les chambres sont spacieuses. Celle du rdv est particulièrement joliment décorée. Tables à l'extérieur pour profiter du beau temps. La situation est idéale pour graviter dans la région tout en restant au calme ( Honfleur à 10 min, Marais Verdier à 15/20, bord de Seine à proximité, GR à côté ) Bonne communication avec nos hôtes. Bref nous avons passé un très beau séjour ! ( juin 2022 )

Prachtig landgoed om te verblijven

Wat een prachtig landgoed! Zo ontzettend mooi dat je eigenlijk je hele vakantie buiten kunt doorbrengen. De eigenaren zijn erg vriendelijk en heel makkelijk. Ze zijn ook bereid Engels te praten. Dat was erg fijn. Het huis zelf is wat donker en wat klein. Wij hadden mooi weer dus wij zaten veel buiten, maar als je met een grotere groep bent (meer dan 4 personen), is t binnen wat aan de kleine kant. De slaapkamers boven zijn enkel te bereiken met een aparte trap buitenlangs. Voor ons geen probleem, maar voor gasten met kleine kinderen misschien wel. Ook bereik je de ene slaapkamer alleen via een andere slaapkamer. Ook dat vindt niet iedereen fijn. Ik weet ook niet of dat in de beschrijving van het huis vermeld stond. Maar zo'n mooi landgoed als hier, vind je volgens mij nergens anders. We willen de eigenaren nogmaals bedanken voor hun gastvrijheid!

An idyllic quiet location

An amazing, quirky property in a very quiet location with the only sounds being nature. Everything was well catered for. We ate in on two occasions. The house was comfortable and perfectly adequate for the four of us. Gigi, the owner, was very helpful and accommodating.

Picturesque Cottage

Quaint traditional cottage, flag floors, wooden beams. Owner had put heating on for us ready for arrival as it was cold. Filled with curiosities. Only thing not made clear on booking is that upstairs is accessed by outside stairway.

Très bon séjour dans un cadre verdoyant

Nous avons passé un très bon moment dans la propriété de Gigi. Nous avons beaucoup appret les échanges que l'on a pu avoir ainsi que la touche unique apporté à la décoration de la maison. Le jardin est également très appréciable, surtout pour les enfants. A bientôt !
