Wake up each morning to the impossibly azure waters of the Gulf of Mexico at this beachfront condo in Tidewater Beach Resort. With complimentary beach chair/umbrella service provided seasonally, this resort offers endless options for fun and relaxation, including indoor and outdoor pools, hot tubs, an arcade, a movie theater, and a 4,300-square-foot gym with a steam room and sauna.

You'll be just over half a mile from Pier Park, an expansive outdoor complex with 124 stores, a variety of restaurants and eateries, a Grand IMAX movie theater, and the Panama City Beach Skywheel. The Aaron Bessant Amphitheater, which hosts a summer concert series among other events, is three-quarters of a mile east, as is the Russell-Fields Pier. Swing by Gulf World (one mile east) for a wildlife encounter, cool off for the afternoon at Shipwreck Island Waterpark (four miles east), or treat your kids to a visit to Ripley's Believe It or Not! (six miles east).

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Great Room!!

We really enjoyed this room. It was clean and had great views. The WiFi barely worked, but we were there on a big concert weekend so we imagine it was overloaded. Also, trying to get an elevator is a nightmare. We waited 30 minutes for one at one point, and we overheard other people that said they waited even longer than that. Other than the elevators and the WiFi, we really enjoyed the room itself and the location!

Good but some weird issues

We loved the size of the condo (the owners made great use of the space so we were happily surprised that its more like 3 bedrooms). We loved that!!! We were able to have our best friends from town stay with us. Everything was clean and ready for us EXCEPT the dryer. Thankfully that was fixed on Monday (our stay was Friday to Friday) so it was relatively little inconvenience but I was really worried about it since I was promised washing and drying in the description—and I had a 4 month old spitting up and giving me poppy laundry. The king bed we slept in needs to be thrown away and replaced. It had hammock divots in the mattress and I would wake with back issues. I’m guessing it’s a rental and the owners don’t replace it but it’s really bad. Also, the knives in the kitchen are dangerously dull—it’s hard to even cut apples, tomatoes, or avocados. The owners could buy inexpensive Victorinox knives to replace all the knives (we tried them all). Also, It was a bit weird that no one would give me replacement garbage bags for the kitchen when I asked for it. I was surprised that was the “hill they want to die on” by texting me back and saying the bag replacement was my responsibility—especially when I have an infant making dirty diapers and I’m from california and have no access to a store. Seriously, you couldn’t give me an extra trash bag? The view was gorgeous, as promised, and I really appreciated a super secure door to the patio that was both noise-canceling and extremely heavy so my kids couldn’t go outside without my help.

Spacious but dated and grimy

The space in this condo and the view were great. If you are a clean person this location may not be for you. It needs updating and complete cleaning of rugs, chairs,couch,carpets, curtains and patio. Need to seal baseboards and so forth. Saw a lot of silverfish/ centipedes. They need to clean mold from air vents and rust from curtain rods. The couch and chairs need to be professionally cleaned or new ones purchased and same for rug and carpet.

The condo was clean in the inside except the king size bathroom has mold on the shower curtain which made the tub seem unclean. The outside patio is unclean. The concrete and patio is really dirty and stained.

Don’t stay at Tidewater beach resort

The unit 1714 does not have a workable sleeper sofa even though the sales pitch was it accommodations for 8. We had to double up the kids to sleep with adults because the the sofa was a chocking hazard. The foot of the bed was busted out. There wasn’t enough hot water for 3 kids under 9 and 5 adults. The furniture is worn out, it feels like there are no cushions it is so worn out. All the wrist bands didn’t work the doors. The last day there the kids wanted to go to the indoor pool and it was closed because maintenance wasn’t there to clean the pool from someone throwing up in it.🤢🤮 The hot tub heater didn’t work so no hot tub. The building advertises it is the biggest resort but there aren’t elevators to accommodate all the condos they are so slow. They also don’t have enough luggage carts to accommodate so many rooms. I will never stay at resort again.

Last Minute

This unit was very nice, well cleaned and spacious. We decided to stay one more night and picked this unit. Time your arrival to be around 5-6pm to avoid the massive lines at the elevators. Or only bring to the room what you need to and grab the rest later that evening.

Okay place to stay

Nice space and great location but could use some extra upgrading and cleaning. The furniture was dirty and smelled. The rug in the living room was stained and smelled liked mildew. If you walk barefoot, the bottom of your feet turn black. Doors in the bedroom and kitchen were falling off. There was pee on the toilet when we got there. Don’t think I would stay again unless there was some upgrading and deep cleaning.

Beautiful Condo, Horrible Elevator Situation

The condo was spacious and clean. We had a beautiful ocean view from the balcony, and the beds were very comfortable! But the elevators, oh my goodness! It took forever for an elevator to arrive, and most of the time they were full, so you would have to wait again. It was the worst I have ever experienced. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We had issues opening our balcony door, but they helped us in a very timely manner.

Very disappointed

Not at all what it looks like in pictures. Furniture is filthy, drapes as well, carpet in bedrooms needs a good cleaning, Mildew in showers. Overall in desperate need of painting and deep deep cleaning. I will not stay here again.

A one night trip of absolute serenity

We took a last minute one night couples trip to PCB, and Vacasa made sure our stay was amazing, the condo we chose was very clean and equipped with everything we needed, we will definitely choose vacasa again to book our next trip wherever we go!
