When you walk into this spacious, Gulf-front condo on the east end of Tidewater Beach Resort, you'll be in awe of the exquisite views of the emerald waters below. Spend your days soaking in the view from your wrap-around balcony, swimming in the resort's indoor and outdoor pools, and enjoying access to spectacular amenities that include free seasonal beach service, several hot tubs, a 4,300-square-foot fitness center, an arcade, and a movie theater.

Head downstairs to find a Starbucks and Waves Bar & Grill on-site, and take a walk less than a mile east to Pier Park - home to 124 stores, excellent restaurants, and plentiful sources of entertainment, including an IMAX theater, the Panama City Beach Skywheel, and regular live music events. The Russell-Fields Pier and Aaron Bessant Amphitheater are less than a mile east, Gulf World is one mile east, and Shipwreck Island Waterpark is three miles beyond.

THINGS TO KNOW
Reservations between March and October include beach service.
Pre-registration and an additional resort fee of $60.00 plus tax are required more than 24 hours before your arrival date. Anything less than 24 hours will be charged an additional $10 late fee.

Parking notes: There is parking available for a fee and charges will apply for 2 vehicles.
This rental is located on floor 23.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Elevators suck

The elevators take 30+ minutes and even the service elevators can be tricky. Either do not work or take absolutely forever. Other than that it was a good experience

Great experience

The condo is very spacious and clean. The view is spectacular! There are plenty of towels, sheets, etc... Some of the appliances like the dryer and stove could use updating, but they were not deal breakers and were very well kept. We did not have any issues with the hot water like mentioned in some of the reviews. The wait at the elevator was not extraordinarily long, either. (There are 31 floors, so you can expect a little wait but not bad.) Parking and check-in was super convenient. There was a package already together with our keys and other information. The location is convenient to pretty much everything you would need. Sits right on the beach and Pier Park is within walking distance. There are several other shops and restaurants within walking distance the opposite direction, as well. There was construction going on, but it was not an inconvenience and traffic was flowing smoothly.

View is amazing

So the view is amazing. Staff working very friendly and helpful. Elevators were very accessible. However, the room itself was a let down. The layout was really nice. The furniture was stained, broken and missing pieces of dresser, TV didn’t work and dryer was broken. I informed staff of the TV Wednesday and was told someone would reach out the next day ….i didn’t hear from anyone until Saturday mid day. The couch is filthy with stains all over (as if someone used it for other than watching tv.) I did have someone in contact with me to make sure check in and out was easy. I would recommend the place, but clean that couch. 😬

Family getaway

We stayed 3 nights with our kids and a few of their friends. Room was beautiful and the view was incredible! The resort was nice and the staff was very friendly. Lots to do and great beach service. However, i do not believe i will be back due to the elevator situation. The waits were ridiculous and we found ourselves planning out vacation around the elevators. At one point, my husband who has nerve damage in his leg had to walk down 23 flights of stairs. An elevator in each side was out of service. For Tidewater being as big as it is, they really should so something ab the elevators.

I would not recommend!! Great view but that's ALL.

The check-in process was difficult. Online it clearly says that there will be a one-time $xx parking pass wristbands fee. When I got there it was a $xx fee. Vacass said that the prices fluctuate on a daily basis. There is nothing in the description that notates that. They refuse to give me a refund of $xx for my overpayment. The customer service is extremely rude and difficult to deal with! When we finally got to the room it reeked of old cigar/cigarette smoke. We had no washcloths and not enough towels or plates for everybody. In the guest bedroom with a view the mattress is extremely wore out and is in desperate need to be replaced, along with the couch. There is a great balcony with a beautiful view. I would not Side note apparently your not allowed to use the actual dollar amount. Thats the reason for the "xx"

Tidewater Beach Resort Unit 2317 (8/10)

Pros & Cons Great space, 3 bedrooms, 3 full baths. Only 6 in my group but it Sleeps 8. 2 kings, 1 queen, & a twin in the hall, let out sofabed as well. I'm a cooking person but Not many pots & pans to cook with. I guess they want you to go out to eat. The main bathroom door was damaged. Looked like someone punched the door. An elevator takes forever so be prepared to wait & wait & wait. Parking is across the walkway with a connection. The condo is located 2 minutes from Pierpark-outlet, activities, and events, and Walmart. The Fireworks show is on Friday @ 9 pm & can be viewed from the balcony. The condo came with garbage bags, dish detergent, shampoo & conditioner. Overall great price, a great view, great location.

Great Trip, Wonderful Condo

The staff was great and helpful. The 3BD/3BA condo was super spacious and the kitchen was well equipped. The furniture is more up to date than the photos show. The balcony is the best with a view of Pier Park, the sky wheel and of course the Ocean. We didn't use the pools but they looked clean. We had a wonderful trip and would love to stay here again!

Beautiful views of the beach from a superb room!

The accommodations were lovely and clean with a gorgeous view of the beach. We were initially booked for a different room, but when a flood unexpectedly made our reserved room unusable, the staff were quick to provide us with several options and set us up with a replacement that met all of our needs and was just as delightful as the ground level room we’d originally booked. Each portion of the rooms were spacious, and the neighbors all abided by the quiet policies. A wonderful experience overall!

Very disappointing experience

The condo has a nice view of the ocean. This was the only thing that we loved. Overall, the experience was disappointing. We had to go out to buy kitchen pots because there was only 1 small frying pan in a condo advertised as accommodating 9 people. The dryer did not dry even after multiple hours of running. The bathtubs did not drain the water. The kitchen table had a leg that would fall anytime we moved the table. We had to bring our beach chairs to sit in the balcony because it only had 2. Again, the condo was advertised as accommodating 9 people which it certainly did not meet this expectation. Nothing was done to remedy the situation even after calling Vacasa for assistance.

Dont spend your vacation waiting on an elevator!

Tidewater has the worst elevator situation. I climbed the stairs to get to the 23rd floor on several occasions. My Grandmother however, waited over an hour on 2 occasions and at least 30 minutes on several more occasions. It changed to energy of our vacation for sure. Planning an extra hour to amd from your room is the worst thing amybody should have to do on vacation. Ibwould never recommend this place to anybody.

Dirty and crowded

This listing just was not up to par. The unit was dirty. There were beer caps from previous renters behind furniture and dust bunnies everywhere. The unit has meager items in the kitchen. We only had 4 forks for a unit advertised to sleep up to 9. Knives had bent tips. There were only two chairs on the balcony and both were rusted and bent. The furniture had heavy signs of use with the laminate coming off some pieces. The paint had heavy wear on the walls and the ceilings in two bedrooms had large cracks and staining from previous water damage. It is in a great location. Only a few minutes walk from Pier Park and many restaurants. Aside from this, I cannot justify staying at the property in the future.
