Best thing - It was right on the beach

The place was basically as advertised. We weren't expecting a lot nor did we need a lot. Planned to spend most of our time on the beach and that didn't disappoint. Unit is right on the beach. Easy parking and easy access to beach. Unit could use a refresh in the paint department. Especially the baseboards. I know, it's a beach place. But a little more care would make it feel a lot nicer. Our biggest issue was the internet didn't work. Tried fixing it ourselves multiple times. Called twice and was told "the local team will reach out to you to fix it." But never was contacted by the local team. So, no internet- no TV. And spotty cell service too made it difficult to do anything on line through our devices. I had work calls one day which I could not do in the privacy of the unit as planned. I had to take the calls from a cafe in Alys. Overall, don't expect a lot and you won't be disappointed. The place is fine - just a little tired and no internet was a pain for parts of the time there. Beach is awesome as always.

Inconsiderate Host and Property Management

I wish I would have read the reviews. There was an extreme amount of construction going on next door which made the property and trip very unenjoyable. The construction began early and ended late so we were woken up early and could not relax at the condo. We had to leave for most of the day and find other places for our child to nap. All in all, we were not able to use the balcony or look out the window at the beautiful beach views we paid up to see because we had to close the blinds as the construction workers were able to see right into the unit as they were on ladders even with the windows/balcony approx five to ten feet away. On top of this, there was an issue with the locking mechanism on the inside of the door making it impossible to lock from the inside .There was no dead bolt or lock to allow you to lock the door from the inside which made it easy for our child to just walk out the door and fall down the stair(which she did) because there was no way to lock it. This made the condo unsafe in general for all of us as someone could have easily locked us in from the outside with no way to unlock it from the inside. We contacted the management company several times and after many days and hours of our vacation on the phone they stated it wasn’t something they were required to help with. Essentially, it seems guest safety isn’t a priority for the management company. Also, the bed frame was broken making the bed extremely uncomfortable to sleep in. After going back and reading the reviews there were several people who also had an issue with the construction and the bed. Even when the construction next door is completed we would never recommend this unit to anyone.If the host or management company doesn’t warn you about the construction then what else will they not tell you about next time?

The unit was very comfortable and provided us a great way to be right on the beach affordably. A little touch up paint in the bathroom would be nice, but overall the unit was clean and well maintained.

Amazing!!

We loved the location, the home, the beach, and the quietness. This house was perfect for us and everything we expected and needed. It was close to many locations. We will definitely be going back! Thank you for a much needed get away at the perfect spot!!🥰❤️

Lovely stay

My husband and I stayed at this property in early March. Pros: Location! It is RIGHT on the beach, which is stunningly beautiful. Clean and comfortable. Parking available in gated lot. Too early in the season for spring break crowds. Property management company responded promptly to texts. Washer/dryer. Lots of restaurants/bars in driving distance. Cons: Parking pass never did appear, even after a text to manager. That said, we didn't have any problems getting parking. There really is a construction sight right next door. Didn't bother me in the slightest. No noise issues at all. The bed is still pretty hard, in spite of the mattress topper. Restaurants and bars aren't really in walking distance. Had no trouble getting Uber/Lyft though. Overall, a really great vacation at a nice condo right on the beach. I would recommend.

Great home, bad service from Vacasa

The home was great, clean, central location, beautiful balcony. However, our check-in process was a nightmare. Vacasa sent us an email with the wrong address (correct street number, incorrect city). We went to this location and ended up at a power substation. The email we received for check-in referenced driving directions, but none were listed. We called the number in the email and were transferred via phone tree to a service representative in Oregon, who tried to help us, but she was unable to get us in touch with a local rep, and she was not familiar with the area, being 3000miles away. We ended up figuring it out on our own, by going to every single address with the same street address along 30a, and found the house over an hour later. We went to 2 different Vacasa offices while on vacation to try to get our "service fee" back, but we were told repeatedly that the manager was out, and that she would call us once she was back. This was over 2 weeks ago, still nothing from Vacasa. My husband has also called repeatedly, to no avail. We did not expect to spend the first hour plus of our vacation trying to locate the rental, and we received no help from local Vacasa representatives. I understand that the addresses along 30a can be tricky, but it seems like a big oversight to email renters a clickable address link that sends them to the WRONG location, then having no written driving directions included in the email (even though the email said "see below for driving directions"....nothing there), and then to not be available to help. Plus we've received no follow up or contact from Vacasa, despite several attempts. Bummer.

Budget friendly and Average stay

The condo itself isn’t bad. It’s nice to be right on the beach and not have to haul items from several blocks away. It’s close to the Big Chill which is fun. When we arrived at 4pm, our room hadn’t been cleaned from the previous guests. So we called and waited to get serviced. They came and we’re done by 5. We didn’t get a parking pass until halfway through our stay so we are glad we weren’t towed. We emailed the beach chair service the night before needing them since it was later in evening, and they did not setup chairs for us the next day because they didn’t have anymore. So depending on how many guests are in the Building total you may not get chairs and an umbrella. We did score some the following day. We didn’t really cook or eat in the kitchen but I could see that having most of the utensils people may want. The king size bed was nice and the room cooled really well if you like it cooler to sleep. It was a pretty standard stay, no huge issues just little ones that got addressed when we brought it up. I’d say it’s a good option on a budget.

Great place right on the beach

Loved this little condo - it was perfect for a quick weekend getaway. The only comment I have is that it is not really located in Seacrest beach - that is a bit misleading. Other than that, the description is accurate and the place is cute.

Construction Next door

I booked this place in hopes it would be a quiet get away but instead was a loud head ache full of early morning hammering(and all day) and VERY little privacy, peace, or quiet. if youre planning on staying here for the next year note that construction is happening less than 10 feet from the bedroom window. wouldnt have stayed here if it was disclosed and very disappointed it wasnt.

Outdated and extremely uncomfortable

Let’s start by saying this condo is in the absolute MOST PERFECT location, has a fantastic view, and amazing beach access. However, it is extremely outdated and uncomfortable. There isn’t a chair, couch, or bed comfortable enough to sit on let alone sleep well on. The chairs inside are cushioned w patio cushions and the patio furniture outside is broken and brittle. It was also not cleaned professionally. Dirt and sand everywhere. The towels and sheets were like sandpaper. Thankfully I read this on the reviews before and brought my own. If you’re looking for a place to sleep (uncomfortably) and keep your stuff, this could work for you. If you’re looking for comfort and amenities, keep scrolling.

Beach Rental

My husband and I enjoyed the location just steps away to the white sandy beach. You are able to hear the sound of the waves while sitting on the porch. The unit is somewhat outdated and had some issues but the Vacasa team responded quickly. The unit was clean but I found dirty dishes in the dishwasher. There was still a drainage problem with the bathroom sink even after maintenance service. I was told that the mattress was replaced at the end of April which it was comfortable for me but too firm for my husband. There was construction going on next door and now that’s what you see to the left of the rental. The front view is the beautiful gulf waters and beach.

I agree with the reviews that the bed needs to be updated. We slept okay on it until the 3rd night when both our backs started to hurt. The furniture is outdated but we were comfortable sitting on the couch. The kitchen is updated and had everything we needed. Some of the shades are broken and slats are missing from the balcony blinds. This condo could use some TLC. The views were amazing and the condo was clean. The main problem we had was that in the pictures you see a beautiful palm tree and all this luscious greenery from every window and that was not how it was. All the trees and greenery have been cut down and what you see when you look out the window is a construction site. No privacy when you sit on the balcony. When you look to your left a construction site is all you see. Luckily it rained the 3 days we were there so the construction crew did not work. It needs to be mentioned in the listing that construction is going on and the pictures from the windows updated to reflect how it really is.

Beware, do not rent from here!

A one bedroom rental and the one is broken. Obviously the owner had already known about the broken bed since the frame and the box spring were all messed up. Should have been told that. Also should have been told there was very loud construction going on right next door. That was fun waking up at 7AM on a Saturday to a chainsaw. Shower curtain was gross and dirty and sink was clogged. I requested some kind of refund and I’ve been ghosted by the property. Do not rent from here!!!

Stunning views - cozy beach condo!

This quaint beach condo was perfect! It’s a bit older but very cozy and well equipped. Million dollar views was worth it all, stunning! Sunsets every evening. Sugar sand beaches and crystal clear water. The mattress does need to be changed, it’s old and lumpy, very uncomfortable. The owners should take their guests advice. This simple fix would give it 5 stars.

Great view but that's about it

The view was great and yes the furniture is dated, but it's not terrible. The only thing that desperately needs to be replaced is the mattress. It is truly terrible and makes so much noise. You can hear people walking up and down the stairs or above you. We were woken up in the middle of the night several times by noisy neighbors that sounded like they were stomping around right in our room. There's other small things that the owners could change that would make a big difference, like a trash can with a lid. The place stunk so bad the whole time because of the trash in the kitchen with no lid. The kitchen is also not sufficient if you actually plan on cooking. The utensils and knives are horrible and need to be replaced. The towels are pretty small and very rough. There were no wash cloths. The shower rod is super rusty and needs to be replaced. There were no extra blankets either, which would have been nice considering there was only a thin sheet on the bed. There is only local television on the tv, so there wasn't anything available to watch really. They have a DVD player, but no DVDs so bring your own. Some of the plugs do not work. I would not stay here again. I like to be comfortable when I go on vacation and that was not the case in this condo.
