Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Owners do not take care of this property…..

This was one of the worst condos I have ever stayed in with Vacasa and at Tidewater. The home owners should be ashamed of themselves. For over $3,000 I would expect much better conditions. Have you not been there to check the conditions of your condo?! Ice maker & water in refrigerator do not work. Had maintenance come a day after check in and they were to come back on Monday with a part to fix it and never did. It was definitely an inconvenience. Had issues with dishwasher and they did fix that thankfully. Bathtub wasn’t draining and they fixed that. Washer is very finicky. Button is pushed almost all the way in making it hard to use. There were little bugs crawling on the kitchen counter. The couches and pillows on the couch are all stained and had food on them. Maybe one even a vomit stain. Curtains have big rips in them, feces or chocolate on the backside of one of them, blinds in the master bedroom are all broken and missing pieces, hard to raise, curtains also filthy in master. Dirt marks all over the walls, big piece of tile in front of master bedroom is missing. I stubbed my foot on it numerous times. Could be a serious safety issue. Master bed has about a 4 inch gap from mattress to top of headboard so your pillows go right through, carpeting is disgusting, master closet is full of broken chairs. I had to pull bedding and wash upon arrival in master as it was filthy. You don’t get any warm bedding so better bring your own. Only a thin blanket and thin top cover. Tons of knobs missing throughout the condo, remotes missing backs and batteries. Drawers either were half hanging in or would not open at all. Coffee table very wobbly along with dining chairs. 3 chairs on the balcony and 2 are rusted. The other is falling apart. The pictures shown are very deceiving and not what condo looks like. People work very hard for their money and I feel that if you are paying the price you are everything should be in great working condition. Very disappointed to say the least. I would still use Vacasa and still stay At tidewater again because we love it there. Just never 2702 again!

Okay!

This condo was very spacious, it was nice that each bedroom had its own bathroom. The view to the beach was beautiful. The downside of this condo was the smell of urine on the couch and chair in the living room. We did NOT sit on them at all during our stay, it was terrible. The bedroom by the door has two twin beds and one of those beds smelled of urine as well. The window shade in the master bedroom fell literally out of the wall when attempting to close. Overall it is a good condo, however would highly recommend getting new furniture or at least cleaned professionally.

Mixed review

The condo itself was nice. However, the elevator wait was extremely long. The resort staff was less than friendly. The air conditioning in the condo wasn’t working well & it was very warm after the first night. More signage and increased communication regarding processes would have been helpful. No wash cloths in the condo which I feel is a standard. Maybe add a tan or too for comfort. The kitchen was very nice with good amenities for convenience.

Tidewater Vacation

Would never stay here again!

We had issues from the beginning at this condo. The condo is not maintained, there is dust, bugs and not enough accommodations for 9 people as it lists. Not enough silverware, plates, cups. Fridge would not cool and we were told to wait 24 hours (we had a fridge full of groceries that were ruined!) After 2-3 days of back and forth, they brought us in a tiny loaner fridge that was in the way of literally everything. The property issues: The elevators are 30 min to an hour wait - and they get stuck. It is terrifying. I cannot believe they are actually allowed to be open with the dangerous conditions these elevators are in. The beach chairs they put up are all in front of the beach so you have to walk a mile to set your own up, it is very frustrating as a mom with small children to have to lug everything so far. We get beachfront to be able to use the actual beach front..... Between safety concerns and cleanliness; I would never, ever stay here again.

Everything but the carpet. You really have to do something with it. Needs stretching and very good cleaning. I own a carpet business back in GA we clean and stretch. That was driving me crazy. Also it would made our pictures look bad. Please do something about.

Would not recommend

This room was nothing like the pictures. Mold on shower curtain. Mold in bathrooms. Towel holders falling off the wall..carpet was disgusting. The sliding door to balcony was so hard to pull you could barely open it. Door stopper was falling off the front door. The beds were very uncomfortable. Could go on... just wouldn't recommend.

Very Pleased

Very large roomy condo. Large rooms including the bathrooms. Beautiful view and very short walk to the beach. Plenty of towels and washcloths. Workers at the services desk were very friendly and helpful. All in all we were very pleased with our stay here.

Summer vacation

Reviews are true on elevators and wait times. We tried to avoid peak times and it wasn’t to bad. We had a 3BD/3bath condo. It was spacious and updated. Needed to be cleaned more, food crumbs in cabinets and it was missing some cups and it needed more kitchen items. It want a bad stay. We enjoyed our time. Very busy beach.

very clean

Condo was very clean, spacious, and equipped with everything we needed! There were a few things that needed work, broken floor pieces, toaster didn't work, and bathroom doors did not lock. Elevators were somewhat slow. Overall though it was a nice place to stay and in a great location!

Not happy

The room was great, but their were some hotel issues

Our room was wonderful. It was hot when we first arrived but cooled down quickly once we set the thermostat to a comfortable temperature. Our biggest (and most frightening) issue was with the elevators. After waiting for 15+ minutes for elevators, two of my family members were on an elevator that literally dropped them two floors before stopping. Thank God they stopped and didn’t continue to fall. We attempted to call and report this but couldn’t get in touch with anyone. Staying on the 26th floor meant we didn’t have much of a choice when it came to riding the elevator. I do hope this is fixed for the mental and physical well-being of future guests.

Condo worn and in need of repairs/updates

We have stayed in numerous condos in Tidewater as we love the property. Our plans weren't solidified early enough to book desired properties so we were left with a few options. Tidewater 2702 had a great view but that is about it for pros of this unit. Refrigerator is (still) broken and we initially only had a dorm sized frig for 4 people staying 5 days- food barely fit and no room for beverages we had already purchased. Fortunately, Kristen with Vacasa was accommodating and they were able to supply us with a second dorm fridge the following day. Kitchen was poorly stocked with very few glasses and of those few glasses many were cracked or chipped and other dishes were put away dirty. Door pulls on cabinets and drawers throughout the unit were missing. Dresser drawers falling apart in master, shower in guest bath didn't drain, carpets worn and dirty, furniture worn. Overall, unit is not up to Vacasa standards by any means. We noticed it was for sale so imagine the owners don't want to put any funds into unit but refrigerator has been broken for awhile based on previous reviews. Again, Kristen at Vacasa was great with what she could help with-provided us with a blow dryer as none was found in any of the 3 bathrooms and of course, the extra fridge was greatly appreciated. Would not recommend the unit 2702 but would recommend Vacasa at Tidewater.

Beautiful Condo! Elevator’s disastrous!

The condo itself was exactly the way the description said. Large open rooms, beautiful tall ceilings. Plenty of room so we weren’t on top of each other. The elevators are a huge issue! Huge! Hour plus wait to make it to the beach? Hour plus wait to get carts upstairs to pack or unpack? Two of the days at least one elevator was not operating correctly. We were on the 27th floor so taking the stairs down we made happen, along with lots of families with babies and carts maneuvering the stairs. But going up 27 flights of stairs after being on the beach or with groceries isn’t possible for most. Also, during a pandemic you are literal lay forcing people into small spaces literally putting 12+ people in because no one wants to wait anymore. The property itself was clean and tidy but I would have to say I would never some back due to the elevators.
